Perfect distance from the beach. Rented a golf cart and were able to be at the beach within just a few minutes. Super cute property also. Will definitely be back!

We stayed here for about a week for the 4th of July, and it was perfect! I drive a truck so the small parking lot wasn't ideal, but the proximity to the beach more than made up for it. This felt bigger than expected and was equipped with everything we needed for a week long stay. The size didn't bother us and in my opinion is manageable for 2 people. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dresser provided enough space for our clothes and belongings for the full week. The bathroom is pretty small so we got creative and used a kitchen drawer for our toiletries and carried them over when we needed them. Everything was very clean, the AC and appliances worked great, and we didn't experience any issues aside from a roach slipping in through the front door on our third night - they sort of swarm at night in the gravel out front but we kept them away with the porch light.More than anything, we enjoyed that we were walking distance away from the beach, local nightlife, coffee shops, gas stations, and grocery stores. Some of our favorites were the lattes at Coffee Waves, bar hopping through karaoke at the Salty Dog Saloon, watching the fireworks and enjoying prickly pear margs from Bier Haus, the sunset dolphin cruse at Deep Sea Headquarters, and visiting the Texas State Aquarium (about a 45 minute drive into Corpus Christi, but SO worth it).I didn't interact too much with the property management other than to call and confirm we were booked because the confirmation email took 1 business day and I panicked (lol), but they were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend booking directly through the Port A Escapes website for the best price, and they offered us an extra day at a discounted rate.Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Great little unit to land after beach and between exploring. The maintenance guy was great and helped us figure out the stove had been unplugged probably by cleaning people? Lol it was a great cottage and had plenty of dishes and things to help us enjoy being there.

This property is located conveniently in town. Walk to the beach, to the store or eatery. It’s all nearby. The cottage is only suitable for a couple or single. No room for kids and no play area or pool. Just a room with a kitchen. The property was clean and well equipped which was much appreciated. The floor were not clean which is our only real complaint. But keep in mind that it is difficult to have clean floor in a beach rental. We certainly didn’t make a big deal of it. The management is responsive and prompt. We would definitely stay here again.

We just came for the weekend and the it was perfect for the two of us. Decorated beautifully and very comfortable! We walked to the beach, plenty of restaurants around us. We will be back!

Great place but really should fix/update internet router and Wi-Fi, add a couple blankets or heavy comforter for clients to sleep better, no ceiling fan so a small table fan would help as well or put on the listing for clients to bring with.Otherwise worth every penny! I love this very nicely decorated cottage with all the comforts of home! I have stayed here twice and have felt safe and comfortable. It is in Port Aransas and close to the beach, the fishing pier, gift shops, shell shops, restaurants, churches, and the grocery store. I never have to travel far to find what I want or need.

The stay and accommodations were perfect. The first impression of the local area was a bit rough, as the grocery store was very dirty,as was the closest local beach. Fortunately we planned a visit to Padre Island National Park about 35 minutes away. We ended up seeing sea turtles released, and drove down the beach to an area with no one else in sight. Coming back to Port Aransas was a much better experience, as the local restaurants and stores gave us a better 2nd impression. Thanks for this great place, great communication, clean room and overall great vacation!

Spring Showers was a great clean place to stay. The furniture and decor were updated and the a/c worked great. The kitchen came with everything you need to cook a small meal. The unit was perfectly located within minutes from the beach and local shopping and eateries. We will definitely stay here again!

Great little cottage, excellent location. Very happy with our stay here. Easy check in and check out procedures. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Mattress wasn’t that comfortable but we were so exhausted from day activities we fell right asleep.

First off they told me I could rent being 19, then the day of after driving 3 and a half hours they then told me I had to be 25. I just used my mothers ID haha lol get rekt. Then we found a big roach on the floor crawling about. When we showered there was no plastic liner so it kept sticking to us, it got water everywhere, there was no drying matt outside the shower either. The parking is incredibly cramped!

The location was great, and the unit was adorable. We had some trouble with the door lock code, but their response was fast. The bed was a little too hard for us and slept a bit hot but overall this was a lovely getaway.

The cottage was small but perfect for a couple. It was centrally located, close to the beach, great restaurants and shopping on the island. The bathroom is very small and doesn’t have a vanity or any kind of cabinets but with a little bit of give and take you can make it work.

We went for business/ pleasure. It rained all weekend and we left a night early but... we would stay here again. The coffee maker was broken when we arrived but it didn’t affect the operation of brewing, I just couldn’t steal a cup!! 😂😂 The only disappointment was that the listing said no pets, so I didn’t bring my little dog.... But other cabanas had dogs and they barked allot.

The cabin was clean and inviting. The listing said no dogs so I didn’t bring my tiny yorkie🙁. I was Very disappointed when we observed several other guests with their dogs and heard others barking inside the other cabins!!
The only other thing was that the coffee maker had a broken stopper when we arrived. It still brewed coffee but I could not “steal” a cup during brewing!🙃

Only issue was that there wasn’t really anyplace to hang towels in the bathroom. Before we got there we were led to believe there would be no soap or shampoo, so we brought our own. However, it was all there as it should be. Only thing they didn’t have was extra garbage bags. All-in-all we enjoyed it and would stay again.

This was the perfect little cottage getaway for the weekend. It has a full kitchen and you can save a lot of money by cooking your own meals at home. The welcome text did say that the refrigerator and A/C can freeze up if you turn them all the way down but we never had any problems. And we moved the thermostat down gently and incrementally and made it to a chilly 70 at night with no problems! The welcome message reminds you to bring your own personal soap and they mean it! there is no shampoo or body wash supplied- not even to wash your hands. Also, no beach towels are provided. It is also a good idea to stop for a bag of ice on your way as they only supply two ice trays. A few drawbacks were that the Queen sheets were obviously low budget and uncomfortable. The other drawback is that the bathroom is tiny and inches away from the bed. So if you're a new couple that's not completely comfortable around each other, you're going to get comfortable pretty quickly! The bathroom pocket door also did not lock. I LOVED that the wifi was private and they even have a DVD player if you want to bring a movie to watch. The room was walking distance to everything, including the beach, but you'll probably want to just rent a golf cart or buy a beach parking pass because everywhere we went had plenty of parking. Overall, even with the minor inconveniences like the bathroom privacy and firm sheets, we will gladly go back anytime! Well worth it!
