Nice tidy condo. While relatively small indoor space, the large lanai adds a lot of usable room (you can sit at least 6 outside), and the positioning of the windows makes the inside feel much bigger. Galley kitchen was very efficient to use.

What a wonderful week in Kauai. Our visit brought my family of 4 and an additional couple of friends to this paradise island. The stay at Plantation was perfect for us. Each day we would hit a different beach, hike, or excursion and return back to a perfect setting of the Plantation where we could relax for an hour or two by the pool, cook up some food in the kitchen, or at the pool and unwind. Everything that wa needed for cooking was readily available. The location made exploring the North shore easy and we planned for a couple of days to head to the other side of the island, with no more than a two hour drive each way. The unit that we were in was very clean, had plenty of space for 6 people, and having 3 restrooms was nice. Some beach supplies were available in the garage (chairs,umbrellas, a cooler) that made us more comfortable. Princeville is a quiet resort town with plenty of walking trails and conveniences. It was a quick drive into Hanalei for additional shopping and dining. Overall, our group was extremely pleased with our choice to stay Plantation 1521 and would definitely return.

Good. Stayed here before. No extra sheets or blankets this time for sofa sleeper. Biggest inconvenience is the key pick up and drop off. While it’s close to airport nothing moves fast on the roads in Kauai. It adds at least 45 minutes each way. There should be another alternative. Previously when this unit was rented we used the lockbox. It’d be great if that process could return.

Very nice condo and good location. Needs some updates. But over all it was very nice. Pans did not sit on the stove very well and the dish washer didn't work great. Please clean the carpets, they were pretty dirty when we arrived.

It is a nice 2nd floor unit with garage.The large AC unit in the living area was enough to cool the whole unit. The carpet could use shampooing or replacement. The garbage trunk comes about 730am. Otherwise the unit was great and the area was peaceful.

Overall great condo and great complex. Loved the pool and the location. Loved everything about the insite of the condo, however, no one told us the entire condo complex would be getting new roofs and paint so we were woken up early each morning by roofers and every time we left the condos the painters were all over us asking if they could paint the doorway and things. That was annoying!

There were 3 couples and the 3 bedroom 3 bath accommodations were perfect. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful landscaping, very comfortable. Close to everything North Shore and conveniently located near the main highway. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect--quiet neighborhood with a quick drive to beaches or into town for restaurants and souvenir shopping. We loved the extra space. The management was super helpful in letting us book an extra half day so we could stay till our late flight out of Kauai.

An amazing week, a beautiful place to stay!
I had the task of finding a place to stay in the Princeville, Kauai area for a girls trip. I found this place and we couldn’t have been happier!
The location was perfect, the unit clean and beautifully furnished and provided everything we needed. Besides the kitchen being well stocked, the garage held beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for our enjoyment. I would definitely love to stay there again!

The property was as advertised with no surprises, check in was easy, staff was very helpful before/during rental process and there was no need to contact once we arrived as there were zero issues! Others have commented on carpet, while it is a bit worn, it is a rental and you can not expect it to be in pristine shape with people coming and going constantly. I would absolutely recommend this rental, an if we ever return will stay here again.

What a trip!! Comfortable, clean, spacious, and well-stocked home with all of the things I need to make the transition from home to vacation seamless. We pulled our energy together and stopped at Costco before driving to Princeville and I couldn’t have been more grateful for that. Odds and ends were easily available at the grocery store at the front of the community, and the drive to the beach was as easy as it was beautiful. Can’t wait to return!!

The condo was very accommodating for our family and we had a great time. Most all was a positive experience. It was clean and had all the necessary supplies as a standard rental would have. Grounds are very clean and pool was nice. A few negatives were that the corners of the granite countertops were fairly rough and very unfortunate for my 3yo to keep hitting her head, the additional bedding in the closets were not washed and just balled up and we had to wash them. Lastly the unit does have AC however only has registers in the main room and the master bedroom. The AC was a big problem as were visited in October but if in summer months I’d imagine it would be able to keep up.
