Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in Santa Ynez entfernt und befindet sich in einer schönen Umgebung des Tals, die abgelegen fühlt sich aber in die umliegenden Städte noch bequemer. Downtown Los Olivos beträgt ca. 4 Meilen entfernt, die Innenstadt Santa Ynez beträgt ca. 4 Meilen entfernt und die Innenstadt Solvang beträgt ca. 7. 5 Meilen entfernt. Haustiere sind nicht gestattet.

This is a dream cottage located on a lavender farm amidst horse estates and vineyards. We loved our morning walks on the country road. The owners are so friendly and helpful! We stayed for two weeks so we got to know the area very well. The location is wonderful for a quiet and relaxing home base from which to explore the local vineyards and other sights. If you are looking for a country setting in a beautiful space, this should be your choice.

Very cute cottage, in a terrific location away from the city. Communications and info from the owner were exceptional, and the grounds (lavender farm, olive trees, chair swing) were so relaxing. We enjoyed taking a walk, looking at the horses and waving to the friendly neighbors; such a nice 'country feel'. And the central location to so many wineries helped keep commute times low. Looking forward to staying again here!

Great Property. My mom loved the walkability and the animals in the nighborhood. We loved how everything was appointed. A lot of thought went into the decor. Loved the Bathroom and the amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay. The most peaceful that we have ever stayed in. We loved the decor and personal touches. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch to have breakfast and watch the birds. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back if we return to the area.

Loved loved this property, celebrating our 25 th wedding Anniversary. It had a beauty all of its own, made us stop and literally smell the lavender fields on the property. The lavender products they shared with us on this working property were amazing. Dana was the best to work with. We will return. Ohhhh and the beds and sleeping accommodations were 1 st class! Overall, wonderful stay and terrific host. The host nailed all the basics; communication, cleanliness and many others. The cottage is exactly as described. The property itself and the surrounding ranches and beautiful. We went on several walks in the morning. Its about 5-15 minutes into each of the respectively small towns and everything was easy to get to. We look forward to visiting again soon!

A small French style cottage in the middle of a lavender farm. What could be more charming. The care put into this property by the on-site hosts could not have been better. This property is truly a one-of-a -kind experience that cannot be topped in the Santa Ynez area.

This cottage has such a sweet and storybook feel. We loved our chance to take in its charm and the peaceful surroundings of the lavender farm. So much to enjoy in nearby Los Olivos and vineyards, too. Dana was awesome with ease of check in and check out and extra touches.

This is a must-book if you are looking for a truly beautiful, private, peaceful little house in an idyllic setting that feels so like the French countryside. I would even add a day to your stay so you can just hang out and enjoy the place itself, in addition to wine tasting or whatever else you have planned! The hosts are super friendly and were helpful with anything we needed.

Everything about La Petite Maison is so thoughtfully done—from the welcome bottle of wine to the lavender products to sample (we bought the yummy bath salts and linen spray to take home!) to the swing in the garden. Our only regret is that we were so busy with our niece's wedding festivities that we couldn't spend more time communing with the quail and butterflies.

The cottage is in a 'horsey' area and has no neighbors for miles - so is quiet and relaxing. Beds are very comfortable, and the shower is hot and gushy. Just what one needs after a day's hiking.

This is the perfect place to recharge for a 2-3 days or to stay longer. Superb property in a quiet location. We’re already making plans to return!

We really enjoyed our stayed at this little French Cottage. It was well furnished with all the necessities that we needed to make our stay extra comfortable. Farmer Craig & Dana were quick to answer any questions that we had.
We enjoyed the patio in the early evenings and the wood burning fireplace at night.
It’s so quiet and peaceful that you can’t help being relaxed. The amazing bathtub & comfy bed was a definite plus in the relaxation department.
We looked forward to our coffee from the nespresso machine in each morning!
We loved our time and were sad to leave. We hope to return someday soon!

My wife, sister-in-law and I canceled our original reservation and booked this property as soon as we discovered it by accident. Fortunately, it was available on short notice for our dates. The casita is beautiful, cozy beyond belief and a perfect reflection of the Santa Ynez Valley. Highlights for us were the amazingly comfortable beds, soft sheets, beautiful/quiet location, and the fireplace! The property is well-appointed and had everything we needed. Just be careful not to lock the bottom half of the front Dutch door (as we did) or you’ll lock yourself out! The issue was resolved in minutes thanks to prompt communication! This will be our go-to property whenever we visit the valley in the future (pending availability, of course!). I guess the only bad news is the property is not for sale 🤣

I definitely would recommend the rental of this property. The home is beautiful and so comfortable and quiet. The owners thought of everything and were very accommodating. The garden and surrounding community are beautiful. Just a few minutes away from the quaint town of Los Olivos and other local wineries. We were very pleased with our stay!!

A family tradition
We have been coming to La Petite Maison every year since the pre-pandemic era and this little get away to the wine country has become a family tradition. We love the region, the calm, and the aesthetic of the place. It is the most charming little cottage and Dana and farmer Craig are by far the most wonderful host we have ever met. They always make sure to greet us with a kind little note and a bottle of wine. No matter if you are single, in a couple, or a family, you will find your stay memorable!

This was our 3rd time staying here and it was as great as the last! Beautiful location, amongst a lavender farm. Awesome owners and 10 minutes from wine tasting!

Out of this world: beautiful landscape, no human sound, only birds, owls, horses, lavender... and at night star gazing. Hard to believe a world, a place like that still exists in the crazy world we live in. I kept admiring the design wherever I looked and very much appreciated white fluffy towels from Neiman Marcus
