The Riverhouse is a peaceful Adirondack waterfront and Laurie has gone above and beyond with providing everything you need to stay. From the fully loaded kitchen to fishing rods, lake fun gear, closets full of extra bedding/folding beds and games. It was a perfect location to sit back, relax and enjoy the views on after jaunting around the area during our friends b-day celebration weekend. Thank you Laurie for sharing your home! ♥

Our family had a very enjoyable stay at Laurie’s place. The location on the river is perfect and the availability of multiple kayaks, tubes, floats, etc cannot be underestimated. The house was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the cleaning crew seemed to have taken the week off as the kitchen was not properly cleaned and the house in general only seemed to have received cursory attention. Considering the previous reviews, this doesn’t seem to be the norm. Communication was great and overall we had a great time.

Our party of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this riverfront house. The house had everything we could possibly need from yard games, floats, life jackets and boats outside to kitchen supplies and comfy beds inside. We all loved the direct water access and dock during the day and lovely fire pit area at night. The yard has plenty of shade to keep you cool during the hot sunny days. The owner was very friendly and helpful before our stay. We all can’t wait to book our next visit here!

Staying at a new place you are always a little unknowing. We were surprised to see how big the interior was an d very clean. The outside was very nice, enjoyed just sitting and watching the river floe by. Was a hit with us. Will do again.

Had a delightful weekend here. The house is very clean and cared for, well-stocked and welcoming. The fire pit was a big hit (you need to provide your own firewood, but there's a 24-hour supplier available a mile down the road). There are several kayaks, including a double one that was great for taking a younger kid out on the Hudson. Not a secluded place – there are several adjacent properties with just a fence between the yards – but quiet and pleasant nonetheless. Would gladly stay here again.

Perfect home and location for a weekend getaway. Home was exactly as described and owned was beyond helpful. Kayaking, fishing and relaxing along the Hudson River was exactly what we needed.

Awesome house and property! The house had everything we needed for our group of 7. We had plenty of room. There were tons of towels, blankets, pillows and the kitchen had everything you can think of. The shed had plenty of outdoor games, beach chairs, kayaks. Fire pit area with nice view of the river. We loved fishing every morning and evening. The kids enjoyed swimming in the river. The neighbors are super nice and friendly, they gave the kids feed for the ducks. Prefect location between Lake George and Saratoga. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We will be back.

The house had 3 very comfy queen size beds n bedrooms. And also 2 folding beds. Our group were 6 and we had a lot of space to lounge. They had everything for us to cook with including bbq n fire pit in the back. We were also only 10-15mins away from activities at lake George. We all agreed we would definitely go back.😄

Lovely, clean, comfortable and peaceful home. Was just what I was expecting based on the pictures provided in the listing. Everything we needed for fun both inside and outdoors was available for use, including life jackets and water shoes in all sizes, fishing poles and kayaks, and plenty of fun board games. Gorgeous views of the river from the home’s large windows and yard. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Two of the beds did have a slight dip in the middle of them but we got used to it after one night. Everything else was excellent - including the AC. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and for sharing your home!

Absolutely Fantastic
Vacationed with family(ages 7-91). We throughly enjoyed our stay. Home provided everything we needed for our summer vacation. All on the property- We went swimming, kayaking, fishing had campfireS, toasted marshmallows, bbq’d. Had dinners outside as well as inside. Had game night at dining room table -extremely Comfortable seating. AC worked great too!! We also went mini-golf, Lake George village for arcade and shopping , Bolton Landing for shopping, opening day at Saratoga race track as well as the casino. All close by!! Home was well equipped and comfortable. Laurie-Thank you for sharing your home with my family!!

Just absolutely perfect!
This place is absolutely perfect. We had a great host! Upon our arrival we were given a bottle of wine and a s’mores kit! Laurie was great at getting back to us if we had any questions. The house was very clean and the decor is absolutely beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with essentials. Just bring your food and beverages and you are all set. Oh and bring fire wood or you can buy it at a local place off the main road not even 2 miles up the road. There is and the rail trail, tubing, convenient stores, pizza shop, hardware and liquor store in walking distance. Laurie neighbors were great and offered to help us blow up our tubes. Overall, we would love to come back. We just fell in love with this place! Thank you Laurie for being a great host!

Beautiful home for a beautiful time with family
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is extremely well taken care of and had everything we needed. Everything you could ever think of was located in the kitchen. The walk to the water front is very short. The neighbors are very friendly. The only downside we had was the first night, there was a power outage and it took out the electricity and cell service. Luckily the owner had a ton of flashlights and candles available for us to use. The owner was quick to answer my messages when the power went out and contacted con Ed for us. After we got our electricity back on it was smooth sailing. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and I plan on booking again in the future.

Girls' Winter Getaway
We did a girls' getaway here and found it to be a great place to socialize together. The large kitchen with many workspaces was great for our cooking and baking activities and the big table in the window alcove that overlooked the river was the perfect spot for games and crafts. Since the weather didn't cooperate for some of our plans, it was especially nice to have comfortable and inviting indoor spaces!

Ski vacation
This is our second time staying with Laurie at her house and we had a wonderful time. The girls just adored the holiday decorations and the s’mores making package. Everything was neat and clean. Most of all it felt so cozy it was like our house

River House Vacation
Great stay! Very relaxing! Lots to do right in the back yard. Games, kayaks, fishing, floating, swimming, grilling! No need to leave the house. What more could anyone want? Fun family time! Great vegetable stand at the end of the street. Thank you Laurie!

Vacation at the river!
The river house was a beautiful location on the water. It had everything you could need for a great visit including extra water toys, yard games, and alot of outdoor seating. We enjoyed use of the kayaks as well. There were also lots of great outdoor and indoor activities close by for any weather!

Beautiful last minute trip.
We booked this trip last minute, we took the only three days that were available the whole summer. The house was beautiful, clean and situated in a perfect location. Laurie is a great host and communicates promptly back. We found this home on a whim but God willing will return if Laurie will have us. P.S. the back yard is like you are living in a postcard, enjoyed the kayaks and lawn games.

Amazing river house
Great house, great location, great hosts. They provide everything you can imagine you would need and on a gorgeous private spot. We caught almost 20 fish right off the dock over our 3 day trip. Highly recommended.

Family Get Away
We just spent 7 days here on the river and enjoyed them all! The moment we walked in the door we were impressed. We appreciated how clean the place was as well as the little details like the nice hand soaps and the soft bed sheets. The view from the kitchen and dining rooms was picture perfect! We spent a lot of time kayaking and fishing and floating on the water.
Laurie was quick to respond to my questions and inquiries. She was a very gracious host!

Great Family Get Away
Quiet,calming, beautiful getaway.This home has everything for a family get away with children of all ages.Board games and out door games for the younger grandkids and pre teens as well. There is 4 Kayaks and 2 row boats for fishing (we brought a trolling motor to use while fishing). Roasted marshmallows at the firepit for smores ,while grandkids swam from the dock. We even got to see some fireworks on the lake thanks to the neighbors. The house is totally equiped with everything. If in question about anything Laurie is just a text/email away with a quick response.Rented jetskis on Lake George and rode the minniehaha streamboat.Fun for all.Thank you for a great vacation getaway

Nice place
We arrived in the evening so we missed the house at first. The neighborhood is dark, but nice and peaceful at night. The home is a modular and sits close to the lake in the backyard. Laurie gave great instructions for access and all info needed. The home was very clean with a stocked kitchen. Adding a real coffee maker would be a bonus. The beds were comfortable, but two felt more like doubles instead of queens. We pulled out the cots, which were the best cots I’ve ever seen. Large with a thick memory foam. Nice! We all LOVED the Snoopy throw blankets. The s’mores and local wine left were very welcoming and appreciated. We stayed in early Nov. and it was cold, but the home had amazing heat. So much so we kept it low. The communication with Laurie to book was great. Our family enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
