Rivamonte is heaven on earth. It is so peaceful and the view out the back of the house is amazing. The sound of the running river is so soothing and refreshing. The house is well decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. There are more than enough towels in the bathroom and there were large bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body wash. We did not want for anything and we will definitely be back!

We had over 40 inches of snow while we were there and they helped dig our cars out and plowed the driveway a couple of times. The ski resort closed on our last day and Cottonwood Lodgings returned our ski equipment on our behalf since we had to leave before the resort opened the day we left. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

This property is incredible. It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, and it has a great location. The management company is the most professional and accommodating company I have ever dealt with. If only other rental companies were at this level. 10/10 all the way around!

Well stocked kitchen and lots of extra linens. The online listing stated 3 king beds and 1 queen; in reality, one of these 3 king beds had been replaced by two twin beds. Additionally, we were told only 3 small cars could fit in the driveway; however, it is possible to fit more. Overall very happy with the experience though.

Fully furnished and plenty of supplies, even including many cooking ingredients...spices, cooking oil, etc. Large capacity washer and dryer can in handy. Lots of linens and blankets as well as paper goods....napkins, paper plates, paper towels, and Kleenex. (Toilet tissue too of course.)Comfortable and spacious, it sleeps 10 very easily. Well maintained and warmed by radiant heat. Great fireplace too. Never needed to change temps on any floor. Our only concern on both visits is the danger of ice on driveway, steps leading into house, and on the lower back porch. We had three falls last March and one this year. Would like to see something done to address that one issue. Otherwise it is an amazing place to stay, perfect for our family, and very close to Brighton Ski area (less than mile...sometimes individuals would walk to it.) When we decide to ski Utah again we will definitely choose Point Clan. It helped make each trip memorable for our families. Our thanks to the owners for sharing their home. Well done.

We had a great experience at this property. We were sent a great info booklet in advance that greatly helped with planning our trip and also was super helpful for the check in process. They were very available for any questions we had. The place is excellent with 4 full bedrooms and two separate living areas; great for kids or multiple families. While a bit of a tougher walk in ski boots, Brighton is walkable or a short drive to the parking lot, with Solitude just a bit farther (driving is necessary). Both mountains were awesome and it was great!

We enjoyed the less than 5 min drive to the Millie lift where we parked and setup our daily tailgate. Very spacious floor plan - would definitely recommend!

My friends and I rented Rivamonte for a guys trip to Brighton and Solitude. The property was awesome. The location is just down the hill from the Brighton Lupine Loop. Probably not walkable in ski boots, but still very close. We ended up driving to Alta Snowbird one day which is about 35 minutes away. Parking at Brighton was easy. The house was clean and very comfortable. I could live at this house year round, no problem. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and the two gas fireplaces made for a very welcoming and relaxing environment after a day of skiing. The beds were all very comfortable with great views. Despite all intentions, we never made it to the upstairs loft for a foosball tournament. The management provided great communication before and after our arrival and were quick to respond to questions. Overall we Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property. Thanks for hosting.

Great fully equipped cabin, but would have enjoyed a hot tub! Literally the only down side was not having a hot tub to help after long days skiing. Great location it is to ski to Solitude and head from there to Brighton. Spent two weeks there and never felt the need to leave for meals. Well stocked for cooking or grilling all your meals! Super clean and cozy for families.

This property was one of the most amazing rental properties our family has rented. The cabin is adjacent to the creek and the sound of the water flowing down the rocks can be heard from the bedrooms while you sleep. During our stay a moose and her two babies spent an afternoon grazing by the cabin. The place was immaculate and well stocked (kitchenware, puzzles/games, etc.). There were plenty of towels. It’s within walking distance of Silver Lake.

We weren’t actually able to stay at the cabin. Something happened and the reservation was canceled, but they were great to work with getting everything figured out with my refund. Thanks guys!

Property is spacious, well-stocked, and in a great location. Combine that with a very helpful property manager and staff and you have the perfect property for our annual ski vacation! See you next year.

We travel a lot, so we're tough critics. The yard was so fun for snow play! We had 8 people stay comfortably here! Love the downstairs den w/TV and access to tons of snow play just out the back door and on the wrap around deck! Toddlers, teens and tweens loved the house. We have all kinds of skiers in our family, some are advanced downhill, some new, some cross country. This house is next to Solitude's Nordic center, making it great for cross country skiers. It's a 15 walk to Brighton, 5 min drive to Solitude, but only our teens did the walk to Brighton. Little kids needed to be dropped off by car. Brighton is great family mountain. No frills, local mountain vibe and great intermediate skiing! House managers very responsive, that's very important to us! There's no store around, so we ordered our groceries online, picked them up on way up, along with wine and beer from state liquor store. This house was a great size, but felt cozy. We really enjoyed our stay, the heating system was great... it felt like home. Will be back next year!

The house is unique looking. Someone designed the house using raw wood or preserved wood in all of the interior rooms. The kitchen has good appliances and is well equipped. We loved the mountain creek behind the house. The house is next to the road but we did not hear the traffic.
