First impression when walking in. I felt like I was home. Very cozy. The property is nice. Every morning there are workers cleaning which you know the property is well taken care off and a safe place. I definitely recommend it! I would book again in the future! Thank you Cara!

We were so impressed by Cara’s responsiveness and hospitality. She accommodated us when our flights changed last minute. The condo was clean and had everything we needed, just as described in the listing. We loved being so close to the beach and met lots of very friendly people and young families. The bed was super comfy! Truly can’t find anything to complain about, simply a wonderful place to enjoy beautiful Maui!

My wife and I stayed for six nights in this condo. It was very clean and comfortable. Great proximity to the pool and the beach. That made our stay easy and relaxing. Well equipped for beach and other Maui excursions, there were chairs and a cooler available for guests to use. Centrally located and easy to get to the Harbor, Haleakala, Kihei, and west Maui, (which we avoided because of the fire disaster). It is also close to amenities available right at the resort. Sugar Beach Resort employees were very helpful and pleasant, always helping when we had questions. The condo was stocked well for cooking and entertainment such as DVDs and Books to read at the beach. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

Sugar beach resort was wonderful. The condo was well cared for and was steps from the pool and beach. Need a snack? Walk 15 steps to Dina’s sandwich shop! Our 6 year old daughter made so many friends throughout our stay which made our vacation even more relaxing :)

This was the perfect situation for me and my family of 4. We had an infant and toddler staying with us, so having a ground level unit was ideal moving about the property. Plenty of space in the living room for a travel crib and utilizing the pull out bed, when needed. Definitely recommend and will book this home again on our next trip.

The property was perfect for a mother & daughter vacation. So many beaches near by, easy access to explore the island and close to Kihei without being in the busiest part of town. We love the location of the condo/resort and were very grateful that the condo was stocked with chairs, boogie boards and a cooler for our days at the beaches. Thank you so much for an amazing stay! The condo was perfect for our family vacation. You can’t beat the location. It’s steps away from the beach and a perfect location for exploring the island. The condo had everything we needed including beach chairs and boogie boards. Having the shop right on property to rent our snorkel was a total bonus. Can’t wait to go back!

We come to Sugar Beach twice a year and stay in different units. This is by far the best unit we have stayed in. Updated, modern, clean, full amenities, everything you need for the beach/adventures included, 30 ft from the pool. Huge Cali king, great shower, washer and dryer. It’s just perfect. We’d like to just keep coming back to this unit each time!

My boyfriend and I were in a wedding and the majority of the guest list stayed right here at the sugar beach resort so it was great. We did venture out to wailea and kaanapali most days as this resort is VERY windy but overall it was just what we needed. Easy check in, ground level was great, and the hosts were very communicative! The condo is updated and has everything you will need.

Cara's condo was just as described with every possible amenity we might need (beach towels? check; pantry basics? check; supermarket discount card? check).
The first floor unit is perfect for quick pool access and the tile floor throughout make it easy to keep it clean. The complex itself is very well kept, the BBQs are a great perk, as is the pool and hot tub. There are many places to gather with friends, but also easy to find a quiet spot. Easy access to a beautiful sandy beach (the water is calmest in the early morning).
We are already trying to figure out when we can get to Maui next and will definitely be staying in Cara's condo when we do!

Nicely updated condo in central location
Condo was well located for trips to all parts of the island. Well updated with new King size mattress. The kitchen had pretty much everything we could need to cook meals (except I couldn't find a meat thermometer). Washer/Dryer and Air conditioning were much appreciated. Lots of beach items provided too (Beach chair/umbrella/cooler/boogie board). We enjoyed being able to walk a few steps to the beach and go for a long stroll (towards the windmills). Cons: It gets pretty windy every afternoon here. Be prepared to buy some additional toilet paper if you are staying for more than a few days (they sell individual rolls at the ABC store). Bring your own bathroom accoutrements as a bar of soap is all that's provided.

Beautiful Stay
Cara’s condo was perfect for our family’s first time in Maui. It was beautifully maintained and has lots of things we can utilize during our stay (beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella, etc). Cara also provided us with clear and helpful instructions and tips prior, during, and after our stay. The location was perfectly central and it was an easy drive from the airport. The beach at the condo is never crowded and is just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future!

Lovely Property
The property is lovely and well kept. This property is conveniently located; it’s easy to get anywhere on the island from here. The place is clean, nicely kept and has many items needed for the kitchen. Plenty of pots, pans, utilities and storage containers. My reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the bed and pillows. They are not very comfortable. A better quality mattress and pillows would bring this place to the next level. I will say the sheets are very soft and comfy. The shower head is quite low. Me and my husband are not overly tall but had issues fitting under it. The ease of access to the beach and pool is great. A very short walk and your right on the beach. The owners are easy to reach and throughly communicated through the process, reservation, pre arrive and arrive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient location to stay in Maui.

My husband and I were very cozy and comfortable at this condo. Cara provided you with everything you need to start your vacation off right. Looked exactly like the photos. Honeymoon at Sugar Beach
Everything was exactly as expected and as promised in the listing. Communication was on point. Beach was nice and there were a lot of beach supplies in the storage unit. I recommend going to waliea for dinners, which is just short drive, every meal we ate there was delicious! Had a great stay!

We were Maui first timers and had no idea where to stay so we took a shot in the dark and we super lucked out with this place! Caras condo is such a gem. Perfect location because it’s easy access to absolutely everywhere, quick drive to Kihei/Wailea, quick drive to Lahaina, quick access to Costco and target. And if you don’t want to go anywhere, there’s an awesome pool (very kid friendly) and beach front right in front of the condo. The condo is beautifully updated and accommodated our family perfectly. We put a toddler on the pullout couch, baby in a pack n play that cara provided and us in the main bedroom. There also are two tommy Bahama beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, and a few beach towels available. I can’t sing enough praises. We had the most magical time and will definitely be back!

Spotless. Touch notch amenities. We’ve been staying at Sugar Beach resort going on 10 years and Carla’s condo did not disappoint. She even brought over a pack-n-play and booster seat for our infant and toddler. Lots of beach stuff. First floor location right near pools was great with young kids. Very modern condo, centrally located for seeing other parts of Maui, steps away from the pool and Jacuzzi and a few more steps away from beach, grassy berm area for lounging and gas BBQ's. Corner unit with morning shade and afternoon sun, some noise and pedestrian traffic from popular sandwich shop a few steps away.

Good centrally located home base for adventuring
This place was a great home base for adventuring around the island. The bed was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well furnished. The pool was great for my two year old to burn off energy at the end of the day. The on-site bar had good food, prices, and company. The beach access was picturesque and was great for walking, swimming, and playing. There was also plenty of parking.
My only complaint was the loudness of the A/C, washer/dryer, and neighboring units opening/closing their lanai door. Any of the three was enough to keep me up or wake me up. With the exception of the washer/dryer there isn't a lot the owner can do so I don't hold it against them.
