We had a wonderful time at End of the Road home. We really enjoyed the spacious layout, fully stocked kitchen and wonderful treats. We loved how easy it was to get in and out of Ludlow. The home had great light and the beds were comfortable; fantastic stay. We definitely will be back - thank you!

We stayed for a short 2 day trip, but will definitely coming back for more. Pam was delightful and very accommodating and her home was incredibly cozy and very dog friendly, for our 2 medium sized rambunctious pups. The location was perfect for a trip to town or Okemo mountain. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Here is the text I typed for the review of the "endOftheRoad" house:
We stayed at the "End Of The Road" for a week and were totally charmed by the experience.
The house is beautifully appointed, clean, and very cozy. The kitchen, though it does not have a stove, has enough appliances for all kinds of cooking.
The Internet works great. It has to be noted that the living quarters are on the second floor, so not wheelchair accessible.
The skiing vacation was not an issue until one of the family was injured on the slopes.
During our stay, it was snowing a lot, but the road and the yard were promptly plowed.
The owner kept in touch via text messaging and immediately answered any questions we had. We felt very well looked after, even though we never met Pam in person.
It has to be noted that for the 3 bedroom house, the price was very acceptable. And the fact that the place was offered through VRBO made it half the price of the similar accommodations offered through Vacasa which charges a fee that almost doubles the initially declared price.
We cannot thank the owners enough, very pleased by the accommodations and will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Fantastic ski vacation home
We loved End of the Road Stay! The hosts Pam and Pete are lovely, very accommodating and caring folks.
Located in the upstairs of a private home, it has three spacious bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen/dining/living room area, seperate sitting areas. Plus a huge entry way for ski storage, etc. Very clean, beautifully & artistically appointed, cozy and comfortable.
Located at the end of a quiet Vermont road close to Okemo. We enjoyed walking around the property. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent spot for a winter weekend getaway
My wife and school-age child stayed with our friends and their school-age child. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, very neat, clean, and warm accommodations. The kitchenette had everything we needed for our weekend stay, the beds/bedrooms were comfortable and the smart TVs and stash of games helped to keep the kids entertained. Pam even made us a delicious bread for the morning before our day of skiing. It snowed that day/night, but the driveway was kept well-cleared. Would highly recommend to anyone staying near Ludlow/Okemo as a ski destination getaway!

Home Away from Home
This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. It is very warm and welcoming with every thoughtful touch provided. A built in rack to store skis, a large mud room area with racks for coats, hats, gloves, three lovely bedrooms, and a nice great room. Plus, the property has character and is an easy, five minute drive to town and the mountain. It is truly a home away from home.

Bucket list to New England.
We ended our tour of New England with this lovely and relaxing End of the Road VRBO. Had three days here to unwind before heading home. Enjoyed the walks in the yard, field and woods and the county road and the swing and the mountain stream. Cozy, yet spacious and so comfortable and restful.

This is a gorgeous property. It has lovely rooms and furnishings all thoughtfully and skillfully done. It has privacy and a great location. Entirely pet friendly too for our two little puppies. We have stayed in a lot of rentals in the US and Europe, and though some come close. this one is the best so far!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room and a very peaceful environment. Pam left us lots of goodies that made us feel welcome. Our 3 year old daughter really enjoyed the toys, books and playscape! Both Pam and Pete was warm and kind, all while giving us our space. Highly recommended!

We had a great time while in Vermont. Once we arrived the home was so warm and welcoming with some blueberry muffins, pancake mix, syrup, and some eggs. We had such a great time that we wanted to stay a few more days. Overall, we're planning to rent this beautiful home again.

Great property with beautiful views
This property was an excellent find and a great experience for the two days we were there. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating with a last-minute change in our party size from 4 to 8. Pam was excellent with communication and answered promptly. There was an extensive welcome book and creative notes around the apartment that were very helpful during our stay. We received welcome treats as well, which included homemade coffee cake, local Vermont syrup and maple sugar treats, which the kids all loved. A great find! I hope that we can stay here again!

We had a great experience! Communication was great, the unit itself was absolutely immaculate and full of small touches and details. Comfortable and spacious accomodations near Okemo.
Our family of 4 had a great stay at Pamela's home. We arrived to find a well stocked fridge(eggs, butter) and a tableful of treats including homemade jam and cranberry orange loaf, vermont candies and maple syrup etc. The apartment, the upstairs of this sprawling house, is comfortable for hanging around, features 3 spacious bedrooms and a living room with food prep area (not a full kitchen but lots of options for cooking including a skillet and waffle maker which we used daily). Apartment had everything you could need -- lots of towels and blankets, spices, lotion soap and shampoo. Every detail was thought of. And the place was spotless and impeccably maintained.
The warm welcome extended to a personal note (along with all the treats) and leaving sleds for our kids to sled in the back, which they loved!
Bear in mind the owners live in the lower level of the home, but they gave us complete privacy. We chose this property knowing that, as we have had problems with snow and ice removal at other rental properties in Vermont. They made it clear that they would welcome a knock on the door for any reason. It really was the best of both worlds.
Would highly recommend these accommodations about 10 minutes from Okemo.

A Lovely Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Pam creates such a welcoming environment! Everything was clean and comfortable! We enjoyed our skiing and came back to such a cozy place! Plenty of room for our daughter to play and our family to hang out, including our dog. The area around the home provided good dog walking; and even though dogs are allowed, you wouldn't be able to tell - the home is so clean! Pam did provide dog toys (which our dog definitely enjoyed) and dog bowls for food and water. Every detail was lovely! Pam has gone above and beyond with the details to make sure you are comfortable. We highly recommend this place! Enjoy!

Our family had a lovely stay at End of the Road Stay. Pam certainly pays attention to all of the details to make a comfortable and relaxing stay. Our family was visiting Ludlow for a ski weekend at Okemo. After spending all day on the slopes, we were able to rest and recharge at End of the Road. The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We couldn’t have asked for more. We hope to return in the near future.

A very enjoyable visit at End of the Road Stay!
I highly recommend the End of the Road Stay for your next trip to Ludlow, VT. Pam was a very communicative, responsive, and accomodating hostess, answering our questions and offering to place age-appropriate toys and games in the home for our three children prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, the home was meticulously clean with comfortable furnishings and amenities in the almost brand-new construction. There were fresh, local eggs, homemade bread, maple syrup and candies awaiting us, as well as an activities calendar, binder of local restaurants and sights, and the promise to just knock on Pam's door if we needed anything.
The location was beautiful -- surrounded by nature at the end of the road, and just a few miles outside of town and the entrance to the Okemo Ski Resort. We welcomed the large foyer and mudroom to stash all of our ski belongings and layers.
Overall, we were very content at End of the Road Stay and will definitely stay again the next time we're in Ludlow!
