We just had a great 3 day stay at this Durango Mountain home. It was a beautiful place that had plenty of room for our group of 9. We loved sitting on the huge deck in the evening. The location was perfect for us were we were able to enjoy the amenities at Purgatory resort as well as easy access to the downtown Durango area. Highly recommend for large groups.

Kitchen bar & dining area were great for group times, games, chatting, and just hanging out after days of outdoor activities.
Kitchen was well equipped, plus nice clean grill outside.

My three siblings and I, along with our spouses, gathered together for a few days near Durango. The house was everything we needed. Great location, beautifully decorated, well stocked and comfortable. The managers provided us with all the information we needed and were quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was very nice and clean as represented in the pictures and description. I needed to contact the Vrbo representative once and the representative answered my call and responded positively. My call was about the internet. It was working in a few hours. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would rent the same cabin again.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view. Great deck. We brought corn hole to play in the back patio. Kitchen was well equipped. Great hiking nearby. No problems at all. We had eight people Which is the occupancy for the bedrooms. There is a couch but assume you only have the 4 beds. A very nice vacation home😊

Great neighborhood; Large house
The home was as described, we had plenty of room for the family / kids to roam. Purgatory is across the highway, and Hermosa / Durango was 15-30 minutes away. There are a couple food options nearby but you'll have to get into Hermosa/Durango for a plethora of food options. Neighborhood was quiet and had plenty of room for snowball fights, a couple sledding runs, and places to make snowmen.

Wonderful stay
We loved this house again! This was our second time to stay here and we are already booked again. The location can’t be beat in the winter time. They have a shuttle service to the mountain that makes life so much easier. The house is roomy for multiple families and well stocked. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Beautiful Home near Purgatory Resort
Beautiful, clean home conveniently located between Durango and Silverton in quiet neighborhood. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. Lorie & Jen were both very helpful and informative with any questions that we had. Kitchen was fully stocked with up to date appliances. Perfect for families! Would definitely recommend! Look forward to staying here again in the future!

Amazing Mountain Home Rental
This home exceeded our expectations on all levels. Accessibility and location was top notch. From the creature comforts to the furniture and split level for privacy and space, you couldn't ask for a better property. We enjoyed the deck every night and my husband raved about the Weber grill. We opened every window the day we arrived and it was like running air conditioner (summer stay). Quiet friendly neighborhood tucked away among aspen trees and white birch. We can't wait to return to this property!

Beautiful Mountain Stay
Property was so very nice. We enjoy the setup and the fact that everyone had their own bathroom. The front and back deck were great for socializing and playing games. Nice quiet neighborhood but close to several restaurants and activities . The only things that need upgraded are the skillets and utensils in the kitchen . We were very comfortable.

Family Vacation
First time to Durango/Purgatory area, we had a wonderful time in this GREAT property and location. The pictures posted online were spot on, location great…..the only reason I am rating this slightly below is due to a few minor issues during our stay. When we arrived there was a cake box (w/ cake crumbs in it) along with a few others items piled in corner of kitchen, I moved it to the garage. There was laundry left in the dryer, we had some issues with the coffee pot, and we were never able to use the master jacuzzi tub (couldn’t get the jets to work). The housekeeper and property manager did a good job responding to some of our questions. In my opinion (a professional/business world traveler and frequent VRBO renter), it’s a great property…just needs a little more attention to some housekeeping items and maintain/check a few items that might need to be fixed. I would stay here again, but will also check other rental options too.

What a beautiful home and location!
Our family gathered to celebrate the upcoming graduation of my daughter from Fort Lewis College. We spent quality time at this lovely home very comfortably. The location of this home was incredibly convenient - 5 minutes from Purgatory Resort. We also learned that the shuttle picks up and drops off at our door! Well appointed and great location. I would highly recommend this property! Thank you for allowing us to share this wonderful get away!

Amazing property!!
Beautiful house with more than enough room for our 8 person group! Hard to find a property like this, with large rooms, bathrooms, & a kitchen that makes you want to cook even when on vacation!! The open floor plan on the main floor allowed us to easily eat, talk, & laugh together. The neighborhood was great to walk in & the neighbors were super friendly! The house was also in a great location with easy access to Purgatory resort, Durango, Silverton, etc. Highly recommend this property & really enjoyed working with the property manager who checked in with us multiple times before the trip to ensure we had all we needed. We had an amazing vacation & hope to visit again!!

Family Vacation
The house itself was very nice. But the cleaning crew had not cleaned for our arrival and it was dirty. I contacted the property manager and she had a crew there in a couple of hours. They did a good job and were very courteous. We are cookers and the kitchen could use some better cook wear. Also the oven quit working. The manager was very helpful.

Very well maintained property
Great Location. Property overall is well maintained. We had some specific maintenance issues that were not critical such as, GFI plug failure in kitchen that prevented usage of plugs in one section of the kitchen and wine cooler. Microwave platter missing making usage challenging. Wine cooler handle broken. We had unusual snow fall which resulted in outages. There was an outside breaker box that began humming and popping, very concerned about safety. The property management company was very responsive in addressing actions to correct, but Could have been better in communications as to followup and confirmation of fixes. The last issue we faced was failure in hot water heaters. We did not feel anyone was managing the issue and communicating with us on the path to resolve. We felt we were driving the resolution to the issue and we were on point to connect the right parties to resolve. We were told that a plumber would be onsight that night which did not occur and no further conversation was conveyed about next steps. After being without hot water for 24 hours and no path communicated to us as to when resolution would be achieved, we decided to leave 1 day early.
I do want to reiterate that the management company was very accomadating in acknowledging our issues and working with us to understand criticality of what we could live with vs fix now. The one item we could not deal with was no hot water.
I would expect that forthe price that we are paying for this property that we would not be dealing with these types of issues and that issue of the hot water, we would have had all hands on deck to resolve.

A beautiful stay for our Family Christmas holiday. Loved the house, great kitchen, comfy beds!
We really enjoyed every aspect of this home! There was plenty of room for all, and everyone enjoyed the private beds and baths. We stayed 5 nights over Christmas, skied, rode mountain coaster, and drove up to Silverton.
We cooked every day easily working together in this big kitchen.
Loved the warm garage and entry foyer, gorgeous views from every window! Beautiful light filled home.
Only suggestions...... the heat in the upstairs bedrooms was very warm and thermostats would not adjust it. We ended up replacing 5 lightbulbs ourselves ( no problem, a few others might still need to be checked).
Overall, a delightful well equipped home (with a free shuttle to the ski mountain).

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice and very clean. The only things we missed was having a few dish rags for washing dishes and it would have been nice if there was a waffle iron. Not the most well-equipped kitchen, but it was totally adequate. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
