Walking into this condo, we were immediately taken with the views, the spaciousness and the overall care the owner had taken with the setup and the proximity to the beach. We had a wonderful trip with our 3 children, taking full advantage of the beach and downtown Carlsbad. We will absolutely be back next summer and super appreciate all the ways Saundra made our stay seamless.

The listing description & photos are super accurate. It was as expected thankfully! It was so nice to walk right across the street to the beach & walking trails. It is a block to a fantastic Italian restaurant, a short walk to the main downtown area with great brunch & dinner spots as well as cute shops, 5 minutes to Von’s grocery store, & less than 30 to hike Annie’s Canyon, Kyak sea caves in La Jolla, & explore the beach towns. Loved the trip! Especially enjoyed our mornings & evenings on the patio overlooking the ocean!

Owner has several little details looked after to make the stay more enjoyable such as ample towels and dishware. Views are great! Lots of space and a great location with easy walk to Carlsbad center. I would stay here again.

Came to stay for a mother daughter’s trip. The owner Saundra is absolutely the kindest woman and really does her best to make you feel at home! The property manager however was a bit difficult to communicate with prior to our trip, but VRBO took care of the minor issue we had and it all got figured out. Overall things went ok.
While the location is truly fantastic, we were a bit disappointed in the condition of the unit. It really needs a good deep clean and some major updating. Furniture is pretty run down, although the beds were clean and nice. Bathrooms are really outdated and had bare minimum amenities, but the view off the deck is beautiful so it made up for it. We did do a load of laundry at the end of our trip, only to find out the dryer wasn’t working. The owner called me a day before check in to let me know that that they were having issues with it, but had someone coming to fix it. She said it would be fixed before we got there. Upon check in nothing else was said so we assumed it was fixed but that wasn’t the case. Traveled home with a bag of wet clothes. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but for the cost of this unit, we expected a bit more. Regardless still had a good time. Thanks for letting us stay.

This was the BEST place to stay if you are looking for a beach vacation. It is centrally located to all of the cute shops in Carlsbad. The view of the ocean will take your breath away. The hostess is amazing. Her communication and tips are so helpful. We will be back.!!!

Lovely location overlooking the Carlsbad boardwalk along Carlsbad Blvd. Exceptionally clean, amenities galore, and amazing sunsets. Host provides everything needed for a relaxing stay AND the restaurant recommendations were spot-on. Three happy seniors were sorry to leave at the end of the week.

We 4 seniors stepped into the condo and saw the view - all 4 jaws dropped in awe! The ocean is absolutely gorgeous. A 180-degree panoramic, undisturbed, blue water spectacle greeted us. We loved everything about the condo- lots of room, very well-equipped, large fluffy towels, easy parking, close to great dining and shopping. We have stayed in many Carlsbad places, but we won’t forget this one!

amazing property ......coffee on the balcony watching surfers, dolphins, pelicans people......everything u need for a day on the beach, towels boogie boards, umbrellas, etc...grilling dinner on the balcony....taking beach chairs back to the beach to watch the sun go down....shopping in the village.....dinner in oceanside and much more. Alicia, an employee who came to prepare the unit for the next group coming in, showed up as we were leaving. We will request her again if possible. what a delight and so helpful with our departure.

We had a wonderful experience staying in this condo. We traveled from Texas with our 5 year old and 2 year old. The condo was very family friendly with a pack n play, high chair, and all kinds of kitchen equipment. The condo has amazing views of the beach from almost every room in the house, we made wonderful memories together having breakfasts and dinners on the balcony patio overlooking the water. The house had easy access to the beach with lots of towels, beach toys, and beach equipment, which the kids enjoyed. We had a few problems with the a storm blowing out the motor of the elevator and a battery malfunction on the smoke detector, but the host was extremely responsive and generous in helping fix any and every problem. The location of the condo is very close and convenient not only to the beach, but to legoland, the safari park, la jolla, and the san diego zoo/sea world. It is also walking distance to many delicious restaurants. We would highly recommend this unit and cannot wait to come back and stay here again soon.

Our stay was wonderful and fun! This property fit our needs perfectly and was one of the best units ever rented on Vrbo. It was extremely clean and wonderfully stocked amenities. Even has an elevator, so no dragging stuf up flights of stairs. Convenient location to many areas. Owner was very nice and full of information on where to go and places to dine. Would definitely rent this unit again.

Amazing family getaway
This place is so clean and beautiful and cozy. And the location is amazing…across the street from the beach and stocked with towels and beach toys for the kids. Also easily walkable to lots of restaurants with kids. The kitchen also has everything you could need and the rooms are bright and beautiful. The patio has amazing views and our dinner in was so nice. Overall just loved it and would definitely come back!

Saundra made our vacation exceptional. The communication couldn’t have been better. Get the binoculars from the tv cabinet and zoom in on the surfers, seals/sea lions and sailboats. So beautiful. The traffic noise was the only challenge but we knew that coming in. The ocean and condo more than made up for it. Roomy and comfortable. People watching from the balcony was just too fun. We walked everywhere for meals and so enjoyed the variety of restaurants. No cooking for us!! We will be back!!
