Wir haben gerade das Nantucket Cottage unserer Familie und das angrenzende Guest House in Nantuckets historischem Viertel renoviert. Die Unterkunft liegt nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Stadt, dem Hafen und dem Kinderstrand entfernt.
Kein Auto benötigt! Aber wenn Sie Ihr Auto mitbringen möchten, haben wir Parkplätze für ein Auto.
Das Anwesen umfasst sowohl ein Haupthaus als auch ein separates Gästehaus und eignet sich daher perfekt für Paare, die zusammen reisen, oder für Familien, die mit Freunden, Großeltern oder einem Kindermädchen reisen.
Das Haupthaus verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss mit Kathedralendecken, großen Balken und einem Kamin aus roten Backsteinen aus den 40er Jahren. Der von großen Fenstern umgebene Speisesaal ist hell und luftig - ein perfekter Ort, um zu frühstücken und Pläne für einen Tag voller Besichtigungen, Segeln und Radfahren rund um die Insel zu schmieden.
Wir haben an ALLEN Fenstern im Haupthaus wunderschöne weiße, kundenspezifische Bali 2 "Cordless Plissees mit lichtstreuender Sichtschutzfolie angebracht.
Die Küche verfügt über maßgefertigte Schränke, Corian-Arbeitsplatten, Küchengeräte aus Edelstahl und eine Frühstückstheke. Zusammen mit dem (neuen 2019) 5-Flammen-Grill auf der Terrasse bietet Ihnen die Küche alles, was Sie zum Kochen und Servieren des perfekten Familiengrills im Garten benötigen. Der Esstisch bietet Platz für 6 Personen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein bequemes Sofa und einen 48-Zoll-SMART-TV. Dort finden Sie auch eine Frontlader-Waschmaschine und Trockner.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über eine neue Queensize-Matratze und Boxspringbett (Herbst 2017) mit eigenem Bad und 32-Zoll-SMART-TV. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit eingebauter Kommode mit 6 Schubladen. Insgesamt bietet das Haupthaus Platz für vier Personen.
Das Gästehaus befindet sich direkt neben dem Haupthaus. Es bietet Platz für zwei Personen und wurde komplett renoviert. Es verfügt über ein QUEEN-Bett, einen 40-Zoll-SMART-TV, ein eigenes Bad und eine Küchenzeile. Custom Bali 2 "Plissee-Rollos an allen Fenstern. Eine kleine Terrasse aus Blaustein mit einem Sitzbereich für zwei Personen befindet sich direkt hinter der Pension.
Die große Terrasse im Hinterhof ist von hohen Hecken und wunderschönen schattenspendenden Bäumen umgeben. Im Jahr 2019 haben wir einen neuen 5-Flammen-Grill, einen neuen Patio-Esstisch mit Platz für 6 Personen und einen neuen vierteiligen Sitzbereich hinzugefügt.
Nantucket ist im Sommer wunderschön und die Tage sind warm. Um Sie kühl zu halten, haben wir sowohl im Haupthaus als auch im Gästehaus eine Klimaanlage installiert. Das gesamte Anwesen ist gut ausgestattet mit Handtüchern, Bettwäsche, Geschirr, Besteck, Gläsern, Geschirr und allem, was Sie brauchen, um sich auf der Insel wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Unser Hausverwalter wohnt nur eine Meile entfernt. Wenn Sie also etwas benötigen, ist er in wenigen Minuten dort. Absolutely loved our stay at this adorable Nantucket gem! The house was perfect for our girls' trip — cozy, charming, and just a short walk to town, which made everything so easy and fun. We spent our days exploring and coming back to a super clean and welcoming space that felt like home. The little details in the decor were just too cute, and the location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience on this beautiful island! Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing return stay to one of our favorite homes we have stayed in on the island. Very convenient walk to town and the various bike paths. The layout of the home with the separate cottage makes it very comfortable for everyone. The property is spotless and somehow avoids that "musty" feeling so many island properties have.

Michele is an absolute pleasure to rent from. Communication is perfect, the adorable house and guest house are immaculately clean, well stocked, comfortable and lovely. We had a fantastic week and hope to return next summer!

We had a great stay at this property. We were a bit worried as it’s on a busy street but was not bothered by it at all. We were able to walk down to Main Street and bike to many beaches. The inside was beautiful. Very clean and had everything we could need. The welcome gift was extremely thoughtful. We would definetily recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay on Nantucket with two adults and three teenage girls. The cottage was perfect for our needs, communication with the owner was easy and fast, and the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need.
I definitely recommend taking advantage of the recommended pre-arrival food delivery service (amazing, so easy!) and bike rental delivery (the shop dropped off several bikes over our party's multiple arrival days and then picked everything up after we left...all for the cost of one round-trip delivery service). Definitely didn't NEED these options but they sure made our arrival easier.
FYI, this wasn't clear to me in the previous reviews, but the home is located on a pretty busy thoroughfare. This initially surprised us, but ended up not being an issue as the home is quiet once inside. It's also so conveniently located -- an easy walk to town or quick ride in the car to the beach. Just know that it's not on a sleepy street if that matters to you.

Wonderful property for 3 couples, 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, comfortable common area with kitchen and dining. Nicely decorated & very clean. Private backyard with seating which allowed for easy bike storage. Great location for biking into town, about a 20 min casual walk into town.

Had a wonderful family vacation at 17 Quaker Road! The house was immaculate and cozy. Everything one needed to experience Nantucket and more was readily available. Bonus outdoor space with seating and dining areas and grill. Great communication with host, lots of island information, simple instructions for arrival and departure. We have rented houses on Nantucket for ten years. This was by far our favorite house. Michele the owner was very responsive and thought of every detail - including birthday candles in the kitchen. The house itself is charming and well equipped. The location is great - lovely walk to town and close to two bike paths- we will be returning!

We visited 17 Quaker Road , a wonderful home in Nantucket. The furnishings were top notch: nice linens beds and well equipped for anything you needed. Good lighted areas for putting on makeup-good water pressure, and a delightful , well groomed back yard.
The owner, Michele , was a wonderful hostess and very helpful. The home is in a great location-an easy walk to downtown. We will definitely stay here again!!!

I hesitate to share my review of this amazing home in fear that the secret will get out and I won't be able to rent it again!
We stayed 3 nights with our our 2 sets of couple friends. The house is an enjoyable 1 mile walk to town with beautiful architecture and gardens to enjoy on the way.
The house has every possible amenity you might need. We ended up making dinner 2 of the 3 nights and had everything we needed- beautiful table linens, pots/pans, sharp knives, long stemmed wine glasses and a large comfortable kitchen table that seats six people.
There are scrumptous, warm blankets and even candles on timers that come on at dusk. The towels are high quality and thick and the bed linens look like high-end hotel linens. Every room has a heat pump, including the cottage.
My husband and I stayed in the small cottage included on the property which is about 8 feet away. We had our own kitchenette with coffee maker, tv, and bathroom.
I highly recommend this property and hope to go back one day.

Great property, spacious, central to all activities. The house is wonderful and Michele and Mike were great and very responsive. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was so nice to be able to BBQ with the gas grill and enjoy the big backyard. Thank you for having us again.

We have rented homes in Nantucket for 15 years and Michele's home was one of the best. It is immaculately clean, very well stocked, feels like new. The kitchen had everything and more, lovely back yard, great gas grill, the a/c was wonderful and location superb! My husband and I went with our adult daughter and her husband. They slept in the guest house, so we all had enough privacy. I HIGHLY recommend 17 Quaker. Thank you Michele for a wonderful week!

Perfect Nantucket stay!
Look no further for the perfect Nantucket house rental! It is ideal for a small family or group of friends. The house itself is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a short or long trip! It was spotless, comfortable and overall just so incredibly lovely. Lots of seating options to enjoy the backyard as well! We loved how close it was to town but also very easy to get to either side of the island. Michele is a wonderful host and has thought of so many details to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Cannot recommend this rental enough! We are looking forward to returning!!

Amazing Trip
We loved our trip to Nantucket this fall- few crowds, changing leaves, and crisp cool weather. A few favorites included two trips to Great Point (saw many seals!), golfing, walking/shopping through town, the whaling museum, Cisco Brewery, and dinner at Sea Grille.
We couldn’t have had a better experience with this home! The house is a short walk to town, so it is convenient and a car is not needed (but recommended for exploring the island!). It is well-decorated, updated, and incredibly clean. We had everything we could have possibly needed while we were there- kitchen utensils, gas for the grille, toiletries in the restrooms, laundry detergent, and so on. When we arrived, there was a fabulous welcome basket waiting for us. We all loved it and it gave each of us a piece of Nantucket to take home.
It was clear that the host, Michele, put a lot of thought into every detail to make sure her guests are comfortable. She is the most gracious host- incredibly attentive, accommodating, and kind. We had some questions prior to our stay in regards to trip planning and logistics, and Michele provided us with all of the information we were looking for and more- including recommendations for things to do and where to eat.
We can’t wait to come back soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Such a charming, clean home
Five of us stayed at the property for a wedding. Michele, the host, was beyond easy to communicate with. The wedding had been postponed for 12 months and she was she accommodating in the rescheduling. The home is so charming, clean, and spacious - e.g., the pictures are acurate. The only aspect to keep in mind is the home is on a very busy street and the drive way can only hold one mid-sized SUV. Also, there are not many sidewalks in this town so be careful walking around (e.g., rent a car). Overall, we highly recommend the home and Michele.

Nantucket Gem
Everyone enjoyed their time and slept well. Renting was easy with the great communication and transparency from the owner. Property is nicely maintained with a beautiful private lawn and outdoor seating space. The kitchen itself was well equipped with the necessary essentials for cooking and dining. A unique aspect of the home is the private cottage with a kitchenette and a full bathroom, the three of us had plenty of space, ideal for families. The main house has two bedrooms with plenty of storage space, fresh linens, and natural lighting- one with a television and double bed, the other with a bunk bed, fitted above the storage cabinet and ideal for a small child, as well as a double bed. There’s plenty of information about the home onsite, self-explanatory. 17 Quaker Road is located a short walk to Main Street in town. Parking on the premise has room for a four door SUV, Jeep, etc. The house was the ideal space I personally needed for a long awaited return to Nantucket.

Beautiful Property
The house was beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Michele was truly the best host — she’s communicative, welcoming, and left no details unturned. Everything from the linens to the furniture layout to the cabinets contents to the flower boxes demonstrate the thoughtfulness / organization of the owners and property management team. I’ve been renting on Nantucket for 10+ years and have never been so pleasantly surprised by a property.
The location is also perfect - a quick walk to town and easily accessible drive to the beautiful beaches and neighborhood the island has to offer.
We had my parents and in-laws split the stay in the guest house. Which allowed them some additional privacy and quietness - a huge plus!

We loved this property from the moment we stepped inside. Such a great balance of feeling “tucked away”, but also so close to town and the bike paths. The layout was really great to give space to our guests and also have a large space to sit together! We will be back for sure.

Another Wonderful Trip
This is our second year staying at this great property. Michele is the best and so responsive. I thank her for accommodating all our requests. The house and the cottage gives us so much space and the location is so central to everything. Hope to be invited back for next year!!!
