This house is about about a 100 steps from the ocean. Nice views, clean and roomy house. We had a great time on the Outer Banks and enjoyed our accomodations.

Stayed for a week and had family come in from New York Virginia and Kentucky. House was great location fabulous views on the ocean. Nice close access to the beach. Make sure to bring your own bath kitchen towels. House was great hot tub was awesome

Great home for multiple families with three levels of sleeping accommodations. Older fixtures in bathrooms led to some discomfort as we are a tall family. Enjoyed the game room and access to the beach is great!

While the weather left a bit to be desired, the house was great! Very close to the beach, and everyone was happy with the living quarters. We particularly enjoyed the crow's nest deck. All in all, a good place to stay.

We spent our March break at this property. Everything was as expected. No surprises. Very clean and tidy. Lots of room for my wife and I and our 7 children plus son in law, grandson and dog. Pool table, hot tub and easy beach access were all a big hit. The property owner was very responsive to any questions. Would recommend and we are already talking about going back next year.

My sister and I planned a suprise 80th birthday celebration for our mom. We had family and friends come in from KY, WV, PA and locally here in NC. This home was perfect Spacious for everyone to spread out. Well equipped kitchen, close to shops and restaurants, and the best part was the million dollar view of the ocean. The walk to the beach was extremely short. This house is perfect. Very clean also and having linens provided saves people from having to pack bulky bed stuff. We so enjoyed our stay

Perfect place for a long weekend with the girls of the family. Enjoyed relaxing, playing pool, and the views from the crows nest. Short walk to the beach was very convenient. Foos ball tables were a plus!

We fell in love with Duck and the residential location! Will be back for sure! Great family-friendly pet home.

Perfect house to share with family. We had 3 individual families made up of 6 adults and 4 children (ages infant to 4 years old) and we had plenty of space for everyone. It is steps from the beach which was super convenient since we had little kids. Pool was understandablly cold for being the middle of October but the hot tub was a huge hit for everyone. Very spacious and clean. Only complaint was that the main floor of the house was very, very creaky. You cannot walk anywhere on the 3rd floor without causing excessive noise for the people on the 2nd floor. Made it hard for the kids to stay asleep. Overall, you cannot beat the location or amenities for the value! Highly recommend.

This house is such a great place. Perfect location for my family, especially my two toddlers. Loved how close it was to the beach but also to the Duck boardwalk. Tons of room for everyone to relax and do their own thing. The only thing I would say was bad is that it was not cleaned very well. I think with a really deep cleaning and a few updates, this house could be an absolute gem.

My family and i (ages 2 to 42) stayed at this property during our trip to OBX. The house was clean and very spacious with enough room for us to each have a bathroom and a comfortable bed. The owners were easy to communicate with. I had check in information days prior to actual check in. We made use of the pool, hot tub, porch swing, bicycles, basketball goal, board games, pool table, foosball tables, beach toys and chairs, washer/dryer, extra refrigerator, crow’s nest, screened in porch, grill, and all the deck/seating space. The beach is literally steps away from the property. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The owners brought 2 new bicycles during our stay. The only suggestions i have is to bring your own towels, wash clothes, and toiletries of course. And you may need to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. They do provide some. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and is located on the third floor. All of the outer doors and pool gates had locks, which made me feel better with having a 2 year old and a special needs child there. There are tvs in all 3 living room areas and 3 of the 6 bedrooms. We did see dolphins. There is plenty to see and do in the area if you want to go out. The house had a very comfy, homey feel to it. We had a great time and would book here again.

Had a nice stay with family. The house fit our needs. Could use a bit of TLC in some areas, but overall, great experience.

We have been staying at this house for a few years and absolutely love it. Pool, hot tub, pool table, foosball tables, literally across the street from the beach, crowd nest, love it. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms.

This property has an excellent location being a short walk to beach, accommodating room types and sizes, pool, screen porch and view of the ocean from the deck. Our adult kids came from the corners of the US to meet us there for 4 nights. We had a great time. Met or exceeded expectations on all fronts. Owner was very responsive

This house had everything on our checklist we needed to accommodate 4 couples and 6 kids. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath. The kids had 2 bedrooms to share with a bath. There was plenty of space to spread out with 2 living rooms and a play room with a pool table and foosball. The beach was a quick 2 minute walk. Was able to go back and forth quickly to the beach. The house had a pool and hot tub to enjoy when not at the beach. The only negative-there wasn’t any extra toilet paper, paper towels, or garbage bags.

The house has everything you need and the location is amazing. There is tons of space and the crow's nest views are the best part! The pool is perfect after a day at the beach.

Year #2 in this rental. We love the space it offers! Short walk to beach, private pool, Crow's Nest views are special things about the house. The home is a bit outdated, but we found it clean and cozy. Booking for next year if I can!

The 6 br and 5 1/2 baths were great to have. Very little waiting time to get ready each day. The 3 spacious sitting areas- one on each floor- allowed everyone to do their own thing or all be together We loved the pool and hot tub too. The kitchen had everything we needed for our steam pot dinner and even a electric griddle to make a bunch of pancakes at once We will ge back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. The pool was a highlight of our stay and it is surrounded by a high fence that only the adults in the party could open. The owner is very responsive with any questions you may have. The beach access is a stones throw away and easily accessible. I do wish the kitchen was stocked better with spices and oils, so I would recommend bringing your own. We also needed to buy our own garbage bags and hand soaps. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommened this property to families. We went during the 4th of July weekend and while the fireworks were far off to the distance, we were able to see three different towns set them off from the crows nest.

Perfect for our stay

I was little nervous about the stay as home looked a little weathered in pictures but it was lovely and designed for a large family: pool, hot tub, new basketball goal, swing, sports room and common living room space on all 3 floors. Well spaced kitchen adjacent to a spacious screen porch-that made for peaceful morning ocean view breakfasts. The 3rd floor veranda and additional crows nest provided cool breezes amazing ocean views each evening. One criticism is that the provided bikes are very old and rusty (we rented our own). Good communication with owner prior to stay. Thank you for sharing your home!

This was a very accomodating place. Many bedrooms and bathrooms so that we could accommodate three kids that were 2 and under with different nap schedules etc. It was a beach house and we were able to feel comfortable showering off before we came in but knowing that it was not designed with fragile stuff. Had plenty of activity space and the pool and hot tub were great. Sadly the DISH went out during a storm and never got back to working but it barely created a ripple for us and Ted says they are getting a better product in place for the future as it has not proved reliable. Certainly the kids had plenty to watch when it was important with the Roku TV. We rarely left the house for long due to the little ones but loved our trips to the board walk in Duck even when the weather was not very accommodating. The location to the beach and the view from the crow's nest could not be beat. Skiy view at night from the crow's nest with the full moon was amazing. We had pretty unaccomodating weather the first week but were able to enjoy our time together anyway due to the flexibility of the house.

Overall, our stay was great. Kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of bedrooms and baths for all. Furniture is somewhat outdated and the carpets need to be cleaned (our feet were black after walking around inside barefoot). Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so we were unable to enjoy the beach and the pool was too cold to swim in so we played games and went sight seeing. Hoping to return in a few years with my family.

The house had everything needed for a great time. Family enjoyed being together after 2 years of not getting together. House was very clean. There was a very short walk to the beach. I could not walk the dunes or get to the beach as a knee injury just before the trip. I would recommend this location for a family stay. Ted was very fast getting bak with questions we had. k

The house was great for each part of our family to have their own space. Location was perfect! Short walk to the beach, the dunes are big - so be prepared to climb back up them! You may want to rethink a wagon or stroller on the beach. The view of the ocean is amazing either from the top floor deck or the crows nest. It was windy, cool (highs in upper 60’s, low 70’s one day) and rainy for part of our stay, but my adult children enjoyed the hot tub. One braved the pool, which was warmer than the ocean! There were no extra trash bags, paper towels or toilet paper available in the house. There was plenty of dish detergent available. Fortunately, we brought our own supplies. I would stay again!

The house and location was perfect for a family reunion. The crows nest was the best. You could see the sun rise and sun set from there and of course the dolphins in the morning. Thanks
