Schaukelstühle säumen das Deck, um Ihre Füße auszuruhen und einen ruhigen Abend nach einem langen Wandertag im Hochland oder einem Spaziergang durch den Talboden zu genießen. Das Deck hat auch einen Grill zum Kochen im Freien. Das große Zimmer hat einen großen Steinkamin. Ein 42-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher und Blu-ray-Player laden zum Ansehen eines Films ein. Die Traumküche ist komplett ausgestattet, um Ihre Lieblingsgerichte zuzubereiten. Der Esstisch bietet Platz für ca. zehn Personen. Der offene Grundriss und der große Esstisch sind ideal, um die Zeit mit der Familie zu verbringen. Telefon für unbegrenzte Ortsgespräche. Die Einrichtung ist warm und einladend und lädt zu geselligen Beisammensein ein. Das Haus ist umgeben von Hartriegeln, wilden Azaleen, Ahorn, großen weißen Tannen, Kiefern und Zedern. Das Haus verfügt über zwei Doppelbetten, zwei Einzelbetten und zwei Etagenbetten (eines mit Rollbett). Auf dem Dachboden befinden sich ein Billardtisch, eine Mini-Spielhalle, ein Spieltisch und Brettspiele. Der Dachboden verfügt über Hochlehner aus Leder zum Lesen. Es gibt Wanderwege in der Nähe des Hauses zum Wandern. Im Falle eines Stromausfalls im Park verfügt das Haus nun über einen Notstromgenerator, der automatisch Strom für Sie und Ihre Familie liefert. Die Lodge befindet sich in einer ruhigen Sackgasse und abseits der Parkmassen. Vom Haus aus erreichen Sie in ca. 25 - 30 Minuten das Tal, den Glacier Point oder den Mariposa Grove. Sie werden es lieben, am Ende eines Tages mit Wandern oder anderen Outdoor-Aktivitäten zu diesem wunderschönen Anwesen zurückzukehren, das im Park versteckt ist. .

The house is immaculately cared for and obviously loved. The kitchen was extraordinarily well stocked with everything you might need. This is the ideal place to relax and socialize. Due to its close proximity to the valley floor we were able to do several early morning hikes and watch the sun come up. Quite simply if you are planning a trip to yosemite this is the perfect place.

Best vacation house we've ever stayed in. The host pays great attention to a lot of details to make the house so inviting and convenient for all ages. Lots of kitchenware's, a variety of bathroom stuff. To name a thing, they have two kinds of chalks you can use for the pool table! Would be willing to return and see bears again in future.

Copper Bear Lodge is the perfect home base to explore Yosemite. Steve has a gorgeous home, well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. We especially enjoyed using the Blackstone grill and the lovely porch. The kids made good use of the mini arcade, and we saw four bears during our stay!

We traveled from Seattle and met some family from Minnesota at this beautiful home. Well appointed and well stocked with everything you might need (and more). Pool table was a hit with the kids (and adults). Communication with property owner was prompt and informative. Home is ~30 minutes to Yosemite Valley, so very convenient yet tranquil, private location.
Be mindful of LOTS of stairs to get to front door. Not a problem for our family, but if you have accessibility issues or difficulty with stairs, you may want to look elsewhere.
Overall, a beautiful, comfortable, and well situated property.

We really enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving week. The home was spacious, clean and provided the perfect "cabin" experience at Yosemite. But "cabin" would be understating this unique property. It has all the modern amenities you could ask for...great kitchen and family room, cool game room with arcade and pool table with ample space for everyone to spread out. The location was perfect for us to do our day trips into the Yosemite Valley for dinners, hiking and exploring. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a few thoughtful and awesome care packages with Thanksgiving as the theme. It didn't stop there as there were spa care packages in the bathrooms. The owners really thought of everything! There was an abundance of everything you could ask for and perfectly organized. I would highly recommend this gem of a property for its location and the perfect mountain home experience. Cheers!

Beautiful house, tons of space with a big open design great for family gatherings/reunions. Kitchen was immaculately labeled and had everything we needed and more. Spice rack, every pot and pan and piece of plateware imaginable, and generous welcome gifts of snacks of bath products.
Whip fast wifi and fun collection of DVDs made our stay modern and nostalgic. Perfect distance from the park, making travel and traffic a breeze (we went in the late October).
Host communicated easily and openly, accommodating an earlier check in and even advising tire chains based on the weather forecast-- a proactive tip even though the snow blew over and we didn't need them. Nonetheless, appreciated it. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

When I first considered booking the Copper Bear, it had nothing but a perfect 5 star rating with tons of reviews which I thought was suspect bc I've never seen that before for any vacation property.
After staying there for 6 days, its perfect 5-star rating is well deserved. We've stayed in all kinds of vacation homes and this one is on another level. The house is immaculate and perfect for hanging out as family and friends and also have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is a chef's dream and great for a group or family dinners. Location is great. You're secluded on a cul-a-sac and a quick 25-min drive down to the valley or Glacier Point.
On top of the accommodations, the hospitality of the caretaker and owner are as good as it gets. Always responded quickly to answer questions I had before our stay.
Would highly recommend for anyone making a trip to Yosemite that they consider this home. It simply doesn't get any better than this.

If you're planning a visit to Yosemite, you can't do any better than this property. The house is beautiful. It was well stocked with all sorts of food and toiletry essentials, linens, towels, games, puzzles, etc. There is a well appointed kitchen, numerous beds (two sets of bunk beds, two twin beds, and what seemed to be two double beds), a gas fireplace, and a full size washer and dryer. The valley floor is less than 30 minutes away. We loved exploring the park by day and coming home to cook and enjoy the house at night. Our mixed group (adults, kids, and seniors) were delighted and would love to visit again.

This is one of the most beautiful, pristine and stunning homes that my family has ever stayed in and sits perfectly accessable to the majestic Yosemite National Park. We had lovely time at this beautiful home! This is our second stay, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first visit. We stayed during the February winter blizzard 2023, and there was 5+ feet of snow. Most of the park was completely shut down, but we were nice and cozy in this house. The generator came in handy during this storm and the house was well stocked with plenty of games, movies, billiards and the arcade to keep our kids busy. The kitchen is also very well stocked and the entire house is clean and beautiful. The caretaker, Michael was very helpful with road conditions and the owner, Steve was very responsive. Thanks for a lovely visit! We will be back next year!

My family could not have been happier at this property! A perfect respite during a snowstorm, we had loads of games, ample kitchen space to cook, every cooking utensil we might need, and movies for the end of the night. Our only request would be a bluetooth speaker! Otherwise, we were all extremely comfortable.

My husband, 2 of our adult children, and I stayed in this beautiful house for a week. We have never rented a house so well equipped; from kitchen utensils, towels, down to replacement batteries for the smoke detector. It was even better than we had imagined. We hiked every day and it was so nice to have a beautiful & comfortable place to eat, relax, & sleep. The host went above and beyond in providing all we could need or want. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again!

The house was absolutely amazing! It was warm, inviting, spotless and supplied every amenity you could imagine! We did have a little problem with no hot water a couple times and Michael the onsite care taker was Johnny on the spot to help. We also aren't very IT savvy so getting the TV to cooperate with our electronics was a challenge until once again Michael came to the rescue. The location of the house is wonderful although located in a culdesak where there technically are neighbors you still enjoy the peace and serenity of the woods. We even got the opportunity to witness 3 bears walking from the woods next to the house to the culdesak in front of the house. Simply amazing! HIGHLY recommend booking this wonderful retreat away from home!

The property is beautiful and has all the amenities needed as well as hospitality gifts which was very thoughtful. It is an easy 20 minute drive from the valley so we were able to go to the valley in the morning and be back at the cabin for dinner. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!

Luxury in a Cabin
This property was more than we expected. From the moment we opened the door to our home for 4 nights, until we had to say goodbye. The kitchen was completely detailed out with anything you could desire. Everything was well thought through, each room and bathroom with multiple amenities, to the game room & media library. Oh, and the books that we so enjoyed reading on history of Yosemite. I could go on and on, but I will just say that you have hit the jackpot if you're able to secure this property for your next trip to Yosemite!

The Quintessential Yosemite Lodge Experience
The experience of staying in this beautiful hunting lodge style cabin home was worth every cent. Every amenity and detail was well thought out and provided - from the welcome basket to the pantry, cleaning supplies, spa amenities, games and DVDs. Lots of consideration went into making this a luxury experience for any family. The home was very clean and welcoming with lots linens, blankets, pillows and towels. Owner and caretaker (on-site) were both very responsive to any questions. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

This place offers much more than the typical VRBO. It is very well stocked and decorated. Relaxing and lovely all around. We visit Yosemite often and usually stay in The Valley at the Yosemite Lodge. This house was about 100 steps up in pleasurable accommodation.

Great place to spend in a winter storm
This is the place where you want to get stuck during a winter storm. The host is extremely responsive. Proactively he sent weather reports, street conditions and activity opportunities.
This was the best equipped rental we ever had with a lot of unexpected extras (we stayed over Christmas, the host provided a tree and ornaments).
This is where you want to go if you want to be off the grid (no mobile, slow internet, but land line for emergencies).
Location is close to a ski area, besides that calculate 30-40 min driving to next shopping.
The house is in a cul-de-sac, nice for kids to safely play outside.
If we go back to Yosemite, definitely will try to rent it again.

Beautiful Home!
The house was the most well-stocked Vrbo I have stayed in. The owners have thought of everything. Spa and snack baskets greeted us upon our arrival (a lovely touch), there were supplies for every need, and the home was clean and beautiful. We even extended our trip by two days, we were having such a wonderful time! We loved the arcade table, pool table, and decks to view the stars at night. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well organized and well stocked. Note that washer/dryer is not available so pack accordingly, however the owners make sure there are plenty of towels, etc. for you entire stay (and then some). We were very impressed by the attention to detail and thoughtfulness put into the home for guests. What a wonderful home to enjoy while exploring the beauty of Yosemite!

Gorgeous Home in Yosemite!
Our family stayed at this beautiful home for 5 nights and I can't say enough about how much it added to the overall enjoyment of our trip. We had multiple generations stay and everyone felt very comfortable and at home during our entire visit. After long days out hiking and enjoying the beauty of Yosemite, it was such a treat to come back to a place that was so well appointed, sit on the deck, play games and make family meals together. Ideal Yosemite Adventure HQ
Located within the park, this beautiful home is nestled into the treetops. From the huge front porch, you can enjoy peace, gorgeous views, and gentle breezes. At night, you've never seen suchclear views of the starry sky. Every trail head and the Yosemite Valley were within 20-30 minute drives. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is better stocked than my own! This is a great property.
