This was our 2nd stay, our 1st was in the summer. It was just as wonderful as the 1st! Only thing different was the beautiful upgrades that compliment the cabin so well. Gorgeous deck & bathroom. Comfortable furniture & beds. Spent cozy nights by the fireplace playing chess. We felt we were in a winter wonderland with the property & view surrounded by snow! Hospitality & cleanliness never disappoints. Directions & detailed instructions always appreciated! Perfect for our family of 4 & pups to have a comfortable stay & relax. Hope to be back soon !

We arrived about 5 days after a snow storm so we found the cabin very similar to the photos. There was a mound of snow in the front. The view from the back is down a snow slope with trees. We found sleds in the back porch but my kids just used in the front so I wouldn't worry they would hit a tree. The mudroom, the living room, the kitchen and the one bathroom are on the main entrance floor. And the two bedrooms are down a set of stairs. My mother-in-law cannot do stairs so slept on the couch upstairs which worked out fine. The tv had cable and dvds. Also had internet and even t-mobile cell phone coverage was fine. My one issue is the listing really should say "parking by cabin requires a AWD vehicle in the winter". Tank road is not maintained by the county which means it can be completely full of snow when you arrive. In our case, I found the first 25 yards clear but the seconds 25 yards just too icy to get up to the driveway. If I had AWD I might have made it. I tried doing tire chains be ended up being too much of a pain. I did the only alternative which is unload and park by the lake a half mile away. In the end, my kids really loved this place with all the snow around the cabin, and that we could bring our family dog. Visiting the tubing place down the road was also a highlight.

Loved the property! Worked out great for our group. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Great cabin on the top off a hill. Great views of the forest and mountains and birds from the back deck. Short drive to hiking, town, and Lake Arrowhead. Also a short drive to the SkyPark at Santa's Village. We had a great stay, Thank you.

This cabin is beautiful! We wanted a getaway with Nature and we got our wish. The house was great with everything we needed and the bbq was great. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Beautiful cabin, spectacular view, the comfort of neighbors close by but totally private deck for viewing the mountains and fall colors. This property is very well stocked and you feel welcome and at home. Property manager was so responsive and accommodating working with me on schedule changes and helping make a potentially stressful situation a joy instead. Thank you so very much.

This was our second time staying at the cabin. We love this place. It’s very clean and has everything you will ever need. The care and attention the host has really makes for such a welcoming and comfortable stay. It’s also in the perfect location if you want to be able to head to both arrowhead and big bear as well as great hiking.

Great place to unwind. Secluded, yet, close to a variety of hiking trails, shopping, restaurants and lakes.

This was the first getaway for myself and two of my adult sons in over a year - I am so glad we chose this cabin for our adventure. It was quiet, cozy and clean. Really enjoyed the deck and forest view - was very relaxing and the weather was perfect - I wish we could have stayed longer - We hated to leave!

This is a hidden treasure! Summer: Absolutely gorgeous and clean cabin. Everything you would want for relaxing getaway! Hospitality at its best. So much love and care was put into it, that it shows. Loved the deck, views Chess, foosball, boardgames, dvds, bedrooms, kitchen, & living room. Boys explored & played around the property. Our family of 4 & pups absolutely loved it & didn’t want to leave. We hope to be able to enjoy it in the winter.

We all had a great peaceful time. From enjoying coffee out on the deck every morning to making s'mores at night under the stars, it was a very much needed getaway for our little family. Thank you for having us!

This is my second time staying at this beautiful mountain retreat. Two friends visited for a night for a quiet birthday celebration. The hosts left me a birthday surprise in the fridge. Thank You! I spent the rest of the week lounging around on the property reading, photographing the forest, exploring local lakes and hiking trails, and listening to the wildlife. A perfect location. I love waking up each morning and drinking my coffee on the deck overlooking the forest. Walking around the neighborhood down to the lake is a great workout. Beautiful and sweet mountain village. I plan on returning again.

We had such a good time relaxing in this place! The view of the San Bernardino National Park was very serene and the area has plenty of hiking. The nearby arboretum is a great place for a shady walk. Highly recommend staying at this place.

This was a perfect location just between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. Cabin was situated in nice quite neighborhood of Arrowbear. View from the Balcony was perfect for morning breakfast. Cabin has everything that we needed for our family starting with space, kitchen area, bedroom, all the utensiles and utilities, internet etc. Cabin was also neat and clean. Direction provided was precise. We would come back for some quite time again over some weekend.

This is a beautiful property that has been lovingly restored And is filled with all the amenities you need. It has a well appointed kitchen, Wood burning fireplace, and gorgeous local Pieces of art. It is close to both big bear and Lake Arrowhead But tucked away In a quiet dead end street with beautiful views of the national forest. I highly recommend this property. I know we will return!

This home in the trees is perfection for those seeking solace in a fully loaded home. The host is super accessible and kind. The location is so quiet, and the views from the deck are sublime. Beds are super comfy, checking was easy breezy. Listening to the wind in the trees and the comfort of the home will definitely bring us back for another stay! The pics don’t do the home justice. It’s a real gem.

Lovely place to stay and relax!

This place has a perfect location for going to Lake Arrowhead, Crestline and Big Bear. We had an 8 year old who couldn’t say enough about the ravine backyard into the forest. It’s truly an amazing view for coffee on the deck, and the host has thought of everything. Loved it.

Cabin was pleasant, apart from being greeted by the SB County Sheriff upon arrival, whose car was blocking the driveway while he checked in on a neighbor. Trash is not set up for collection, and local dumpsters do not allow you to leave your trash, meaning that you have to carry your trash down the mountain. Pleasant place, with the welcome a bit diminished.

The cabin is cozy and has everything we needed! The view from the deck is great and the surrounding is very quiet. Lien is very responsive and everything worked perfectly. We really enjoyed our weekend.

Cute place for a family a four and a old dog. Lots of snow around the property for the kids, some games inside to play, and a few Disney movies. The view is beautiful, with nature all around. The beds are more comfortable then a lot of other VRBOs! Easy checkin and check out.

We loved this cabin when we visited in the summer and had to return to experience it in the winter! Such a cozy cabin and just right for our family of 4. Our kids, 2 and 6, loved playing in the snow- we didn’t even have to leave to go anywhere. You can play in the snow in front/side of the cabin and go sledding down the hill. The Disney movies over some hot cocoa was a total hit with the kids and we also enjoyed the gorgeous views off the deck (can’t beat that view). A very comfortable and peaceful stay. Lien is very responsive and the amenities in the cabin made us feel welcome and made us feel at home. Our favorite cabin by far!

We had such a great time! The kids loved all the snow surrounding the cabin. Everything worked great, lots of amenities, etc. Very clean and well kept. Simply loved it! Lien was such a pleasure to work with! We will definitely be back!!

Enjoyed our New Year’s stay once we finally arrived and settled in. It took us nearly 2 hrs to go the last .5mile due to icy conditions, poor GPS mapping directions, and no plowed roads along the final stretch. We got stuck a few times and never did make it into the driveway, even with chains on an Equinox. We had to park at a neighbors and carry in (out out) all of our overnight gear up a steep icy road and driveway, which we all slipped on multiple times. Suffice it to say, it was not fun getting in/out of the cabin. BUT, once settled, it was quaint with beautiful mt views. Lots of snow to play in. Everything worked great and the cabin was well stocked. We would do it again, just not in the winter.
