I called after 5 PM on their emergency service number, and someone got back to me within 10 minutes. They called the linen service, and while we were having dinner, the linens were delivered. And to our surprise, Cannon and Gruber issued a partial refund for the cost of the linen rental for the week.The condo is located near the center of the building and on the second floor. Two short flights of steps lead to the condo entrance, the second door to the right of the stairs.Sliding glass doors in the living area and in the primary bedroom lead onto the long, open deck that overlooks the ocean. The view could not be better. Distance to the beach is about 40 yards.The condo is beautifully decorated and everything worked well. However, the printed directions for WiFi connection were incorrect. A call to Cannon and Gruber fixed that issue quickly.Bogue Shores Condos are located at milepost 7 1/2 just past the NC Aquarium entrance at a stoplight. Driving to Emerald Isle or Morehead City is about the same distance from the condo.Parking underneath the units is reserved from owners. However, it was windy and rainy when we packed our car to leave, and we were able to back the car up next to the stairs and under an overhanging porch to allow packing in a protected position from wind and rain.We will visit this condo again in coming years. Very quiet with nice beach that was not crowded during Spring Break.

Reviewer Comments: We were looking forward to getting away together since we had not seen each other since the beginning of the covid ****. We have rented this place before and enjoyed it. We had a good time this year, but there were some things that were a little bothersome. The remodeling that was done looked great. Really opened up the place. There was an issue with one of the electrical outlets leaking water. When maintenance came in to determine if it was an HOA issue or a rental issue he wasn't wearing a mask. I was ok with that, but some of my family members were not. We also had an exterminator come while we were there. I wasn't going to let them spray since we had small children in there. I feel like those are the kinds of things that need to be done when no one is renting the place, or during the time from when one guest leaves and the next guest comes in. I guess I should have let them spray though b/c I had a roach fall on my face while I was sleeping one night. We did have a great time, as always. Just some things that maybe could have been handled differently.

Very nice interior, wonderful views from the balcony, comfortable furniture and bed, nice kitchen. Patio doors open and listening to the ocean! We were there during Covid restrictions which meant spending a lot of time by ourselves at the beach, which was OK for celebrating our 40th anniversary! Local restaurants were great. As mentioned, we were here during 2020 Covid restrictions, and the week after Labor Day, so it wasn't crowded and felt secluded, but only a couple miles from anything we needed. Will definitely consider staying here again!

The reservation and check in processes were easy, smooth and COVID friendly. The condo was nice inside and the balcony was awesome. The views of the beach and ocean were amazing! With the new furniture on the balcony combined with the wide views, we spent a great deal of time outside on the balcony when we weren't walking or sitting out on the beach. Highly recommend.

Don’t read old reviews. Kitchen and baths all remodeled. Great location. Right on beach and overlooks the pool. Even though one of the two elevators were being serviced, it wasn’t a big deal as you are on the 2nd floor with only two sets of stairs to get to the unit. We did use the elevator (and available baggage carts) to unload and load but otherwise used the stairs. Parking was not an issue. 10 min from grocery stores and restaurants. Nothing to do but enjoy the beach, pool, and your family. Great vacation spot.

The condo was exactly what was advertised online and was perfect for our vacation. Upon arrival, we realized that the A/C was not working correctly (not cooling at all), so I tried calling the office and the 1-800 number numerous times but it just gave me a busy signal as it was after 5pm. I realized that there was a realtor name and number on a small business card on the fridge, so I called her on a whim. She responded quickly and texted me within 30 minutes saying that a repair man would be out the next morning. He showed up right on time and though it took a while to figure out the issue, he did a great job! I really appreciated both of their hard work! Note: I could never find an "after hours" phone number on any documentation or my app. Maybe I missed it? It would be great if there is indeed a number to call though in the event that something more serious were to happen. Overall, it was a great trip and we would definitely stay here again!

I must first begin by saying that Vickie with Cannon & Gruber is the bomb. We arrived on June 15(my son's birthday) to what we thought was going to be a wonderful condo. It was not. It very dirty, dusty and nasty. The bedding is old, outdated and broken. Dirty linens were thrown on the floor in the closet, urine on the toilet seat, pasta stains on the floor, food stuck to the floor, ants and the dinner table was sticky and gross. The pantry was gross and the entire unit needs a thorough clean out. The curtain also fell out of the wall when we tried opening the curtains in the master bedroom. We took pictures and sent to the property manager(Vickie) who thankfully was able to move us to another condo. It was very clear to us the owner has severely neglected this unit and it's only purpose is to collect money.

The realtors were helpful when we found things not working in the condo. The place was clean but quite a few things were not working. The TV has issues connected to a light switch, dryer had a disconnected vent which heated up the condo and the air conditioner was not working in the family room and even after the adjustment of the vent it did not cool down adequately. The queen bathroom had breaks in the tub which meant water was leaking below the condo.

The furniture on the patio was unusable and the table is unsafe; lots of debris in the corner. The great balcony meant wonderful views, yet the chairs are falling apart and we covered them with towels to sit on. The microwave was broken/unsafe, but management company (Cannon & Gruber) got right on it & replaced it.

This unit has a great view. Lovely pool. Friendly people. The unit was a disappointment. It showed general lack of care by the owner. It needs a DEEP cleaning - not much has been updated (refrigerator is new). Stove smoked when we turned it on. Remote for TV in master bedroom was held together with duct tape and still didn't work. The balcony would have been great except the furniture is so old and worn we were afraid to use it. Awning could only be opened part way so it was useless. We would stay at Bogue Shore Club again just not in this unit. We still had a great time! You need to visit Beaufort and have dinner at Old Salt and Trattoria Gourmet Pizza in Swansboro. Kayaking at Swansboro Paddling Boarding (same building unit as Trattoria). Very nice people. Had a great time. Don't miss going to the Sanitary Fish Market for dinner either.

We rented 2 from Cannon and Gruber and 2 from another management Co. 203, 205 [my unit], 208 and 309. Our unit was by far the worst. The other 3 units for the same weekly price were updated, had open floor plans, new bathrooms, NEWER PILLOWS [the pillows are way past their useful life in 205]. The others had well equipped kitchens with enough matching plates and flatware to accommodate the 8 people the unit holds, ours did not, ours was more reminiscent of college dorm room mix-and-match [even some plastic wear, really?]. I think 205 is the best of locations as far as view and access to the beach, but it has an unusable patio as only 3 of the 8 chairs are functional. This would not have been so critical, but after comparison, it is clearly a tired unit.
