The weather this Memorial Day weekend was less than ideal. Friday was nice, mid 70s, Saturday the high was about 70 with heavy clouds all day. High on Sunday was 60, we didn’t boat that day. We boated a few hours on Monday, despite the temperatures not getting above 62. We still had a great time. The house is large and well laid out. We would certainly rent it again. The owner was very responsive and provided extensive information on the house. Be sure to read it all. Like pretty much all Norris Lake properties this has a steep decent to the dock. But they have both concrete steps as well as a walkway to get you there. You are a short boat ride to 4 restaurants and a little longer ride to 3 more. This is a great location on the lake.

We were very happy with our time at this house. Everything was clean and in working order. Would recommend this to anyone.

We loved our stay here. The views were beautiful. The home was setup nicely, we had 3 adult couples that each could have their own bedroom with attached bath! That left an additional 2 bedrooms and bath for the kids, it was perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great week at this home! The house layout was perfect. Yes, the decor was a bit dated and some things need attention, but everything worked. Who is indoors a lot anyhow when you are at the lake??? Toni is wonderful host! Great at communicating and very nice!!! Check out this rental!!!! :)

This house was stunning. A little dated on the inside but the view and lake side dock was stunning. We docked two boats and had plenty of room to swim right off the dock. The porches made for a great sitting area in the morning and evening. Check in was seamless and the directions were accurate. There are three marinas within 10 minutes by boat. One thing we missed was we needed to provided a propane tank for the grill. The store right near the front gate has them. We are already planning our stay for next year

The property was in excellent condition, and the lake was perfect. Great 4 night stay!

Process was very smooth. No issues before, during, or after our stay. House was clean and had plenty of space for eating and entertainment. We would definitely recommend to others.

Such a beautiful spot. The house was perfect for our group. Very clean and having our own dock was perfect. We rented a boat for a few days and we were able to drive it “home” to the dock! Very easy to communicate with owners. They went above and beyond to send us information before our stay. Would definitely stay again!!

We had an amazing week at this house with family. The house was clean, plenty of room for everyone. Lots of steps but well worth it, the cove was great for swimming. A handrail from the driveway doen to the house and down to the lake would be nice but other than that wouldn't change anything. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lake front home. It was big enough for our large family and had wonderful lake views. Enjoyed swimming off the dock!

Excellent location with a perfect boat dock located near the end of the cove allowing for privacy as well as a beautiful view.

Our group had a great time at this property. Plenty of seating for a large group. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly sized. The dock was out of the sun until 11am or so which was perfect for us. The walk to the dock was shorter in person than what we thought so we were pleasantly surprised. We had a great time! I would absolutely book this property again and the property manager was so great to work with!

The access to the home is steep as well as the access to the lake.

Our stay with some friends at the house could not have gone smoother. The house featured an abundance of sleeping room and a lot of floor space for those who would rather bring an air mattress. The appliances all worked well and allowed our big group to keep everything cold. The stairs down to the boat slip are very steep but that comes with territory at Norris. Very laid back cove to float in and enjoy your days on the boat slip. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time here. The manager was great to work with, there was more than enough room for 6 adults (or more), and the location was terrific albeit a little difficult to find. A word of caution, make arrangements to drop your boat at the launch and reserve a trailer parking place before unloading the car because the road to the house is pretty curvy and hilly and certainly nowhere to park a car and boat. Also there are 90 well-cared for stairs without hand rail to the water so we seniors were challenged but it added to the adventure! Norris is great and we appreciated the accommodations.

Loved the property, it was very clean and had plenty of space. The location on the lake is great and there is easy access to a dock in a no wake cove. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place on the water.

Location is perfect and house floor plan is great. The property needed some deep cleaning (kitchen floor very sticky- we actually had to clean it). Outside needed to be power washed (very dirty- cob webs everywhere) and concerned with larger decks safety. Only hot water coming from first floor hallway bath, so not really able to use. Just a good deep clean and the property would be perfect!

Huge house in a great location! The dock is great for swimming. We have stayed twice and really enjoy this house.

This is a perfect location in a quiet cove! The house is fantastic and was perfect for our group.

We needed a place that accommodated everyone's wishes for our first family vacation with our adult children and their families and this was that place. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved it. Very spacious, well-equipped and great views. Highly recommend.

This is our second year renting The Lake House and continue to enjoy all its amenities. We had 6 adults with 6 kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. There were games for the kids and a great grill for the guys. The kitchens had all the items needed for cooking. The cove was clean and the kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming. The community pool was convenient and was never busy when we were there. Sugar Hollow and Springs Dock marina were close by for renting a platoon for the week. (Springs Dock marina had cheaper gas). I'm sure we'll be back again.

There are much better places to stay in Norris

We had a great week at the Lake House. The pictures and the descriptions described this home to a tee!! Our family ranged in age from 3 months to 75. The common areas of the home allowed for every family to have a space of their own. The cove was great for swimming and close to all the marinas. As with most homes on the lake...the steep steps make it a challenge for the older family members and the curved walk way is challenging. A railing to hold onto would help. The resort offers a nice pool and golf course that make the home a great place to stay We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home for your stay at Deerfield Resorts!!

We rented this fantastic home for a "family reunion". There were 4 families (8 adults, 6 children). The home accomodated everyone comfortably. The furnishings were nice and the dishes, utensils, glasses, etc were everything we could have hoped for. The layout lent itself to family gatherings and meals in the well appointed lower level. A complete kitchen, access to the barbeque and a large bar area accomodated everyone. The dock was great and large enough for everyone to swim from. The water was perfect - we stayed in for hours. Boating was wonderful - the water was always calm. The kids loved tubing behind the boat. I do recommend having a boat at this vacation site. It is a long trip to town but the large refrigerators let us get everything we needed in our first trip. Once you're at the house you don't want to leave! The location lent itself to side trips to Gatlinberg and Norris Dam. Rafting in the Smokey's on the Gatlinberg trip was a treat. All - in - all we were very pleased with our rental.
