Great stay, the whole family had a wonderful time! The owner was very communicative and provided great details for check-in, what was expected and check out.
Local to everything, we walked to the beach and to restaurants. Took an Uber for everywhere else we went. The locals in the neighborhood were great. Made some friends.
Will definately be visiting again.

The apartment is absolutely adorable. Perfectly located for a quick walk to the beach or a variety of restaurants. The host was wonderful, very accommodating and kind with loads of recommendations for things in the area. Absolutely would recommend staying here for anyone and would definitely stay again if we're ever back to the area again!

The rental is on a great location. Walking distance to beach, walking paths, restaurants. We especially enjoyed OB Brewing. Would recommend!

I really enjoyed this convenient, comfortable home. It's a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. I had never been to San Diego before, so I was given the grand tour of all the neighborhoods, but if I had had more time, I would have liked to spend more down time in OB!

The property manager begins bothering you immediately. She wants you to cancel with VRBO and schedule with her directly. When you get to the property, she wants to know who everyone she sees on security cameras is. She bothered us our entire stay with texts to call her for various reasons. The property is clean and close to beach but WIFI is terrible, you aren’t even able to watch a movie. Lightly is horrible and can hear upstairs guests every step. Close to airport so sound of jets overhead all day.

Owners communicated all the important information very well! The property was clean and ready early! She gave great recommendations of places to eat as well as places to go see! Loved the games they had, even though we brought some to play. Only “complaint” we would even have, which is NOT a complaint at all is it would be nice if there was more light in the living room. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Description is very accurate. Beds very comfortable. Grill worked great. There are a few grocery stores nearby but be prepared to pay 10 cents per bag and an extra 10 cents for every product packaged in plastic. Thats ridiculous but not an owner problem. It's a California problem.
Very close to beach, restaurants and bars. As mentioned in almost every review, parking is crazy but not stupid crazy. Can always get a closer spot in the mornings. Pay attention to the no parking signs for street sweeping. They mean what it says.

Cozy little suite. Close to the beach, lots of fun shops and places to eat. Parking was almost impossible after 5:00pm.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ocean Beach other than trying to find parking. The bathroom had lots of great supplies and the kitchen seemed well stocked. The property manager was very responsive.

Parking is a precious commodity in San Diego so try to get there before everyone gets home from work or Uber wherever you need to go but this worked great for us!

We had a really wonderful time during our stay! The location is perfect--walking distance to both the beach and restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. It was also a very dog friendly place, complete with small dog bed, bowls and towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Wish we could've lowered the ac below 72° though, as I am an extra hot person. Every time we'd come back the temp would be raised to 74-76°. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

This place exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect to access the beach, shops and restaurants. The condo was equipped with beach towels, chairs, body boards, dog toys and sand toys. We enjoyed reading our books on the back patio with a cup of coffee and the local nightlife. If we go to Ocean Beach again, we would love to stay here!

Super cute place, perfect location for walking/biking to beach and restaurants. Owner provides beach chairs, boogie boards and, sand toys. BBQ grill in backyard of downstairs unit. Unit was very clean and updated. Kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans, dishes, utensils. Noise level was a little much because its on a main street. Walls are very thin so heard every move and noise from upstairs neighbors. Be prepared to search for parking and possibly have to park blocks away. No designated parking and street parking is always taken.

We make an annual trip to SoCal and try out all locations from Newport Beach and down the coast. This was our first time in Ocean Beach. The proximity to the beach, food, conscience store and shopping was perfect. No longer than a 7 min walk to anything. The residence was just as it was pictured. I like that it had beach chairs, boogie boards, an umbrella and beach toys. The manger was very accessible and helpful. The space was clean. The outdoor space was a good size and obscured from the street view for privacy. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge, and I was warned not only by other posts and the manager, was parking. Not terrible as everything is walkable so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Thank you Meiluen for your quick responses even though you were in Korea at the time of our trip! Would love to stay here again.

Blocks from dog beach, pet friendly location. Excellently communication with the property owner and that is very comforting for me ! No questions were left unanswered and I felt confident that if there were any issues , they would be addressed. But there were no issues, it was GREAT!

My sister, mom and I had a wonderful time in Ocean Beach! The owner was very responsive with any questions we had, and offered great information about restaurants places to visit and things to do. The host was definitely five stars.

My family had a memorable stay at this house. Very well kept house from inside, enough space for a small family. My dog had so much fun at the dog beach which is 5 mins walk. Me and my wife enjoyed nearby pubs. Walking in the night felt very safe.
I forgot couple of clothes in the drawer and owner reached out to me and even offered to drop it at nearby location. Really very appreciative of the excellent service.

Cute little house next to the beach. Overall stay was nice. Parking was really tough to find so bring your walking shoes ;) Owner was very communicative, and accommodating. Thank you for hosting us.

This place is very nice, comfortable and clean. Owner is responsive. My only negative about the place is the noise from airplanes flying overhead particularly in the morning. Starting at 6AM planes continually fly overhead every minute for several hours and they are quite noisy. If you are a heavy sleeper, this place is perfect, but I found it impossible to sleep after 6AM. 4 stars for the noise, otherwise 5 stars.

Owner was wonderful and communicative throughout. Property is as described and was perfect for our needs. We were passing through the area and wanted to take our 10-month-old puppy to the dog beach. Ocean Beach overall is super dog friendly, very walkable, and this property was great for a dog and a very short walk to the dog beach.

My wife, dog and I stayed at this property for a few nights. The house was very clean and put together well. We had everything we needed during our stay. The location was great. We were just one block from the beach, which worked well considering my wife has a bad knee and our pug prefers short walks. :-)
Parking can be a challenge since there is only street parking. Once we scored a parking spot in front of our VRBO we didn't move (except for the street cleaner that comes between 7-10 am on Wednesdays per the street sign).
Meiluen went above and beyond when it came to communication. My only suggestion would be to include in the "rule" binder suggestions on places to visit and restaurants in the vicinity. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a short and wonderful stay. The unit was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is amazing and walking distance from the beach and restaurants/shopping. The owner was wonderful and very communicative throughout our visit. Would absolutely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable beds, exactly as it looks in the pictures. It’s a one block walk to the beach and super easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops. We found that every place we needed to drive to was about a ten minute drive. Very good location for sight seeing. We never had an issue finding parking close by. We are a family and I’d say the neighborhood lends itself more to young adults, but that was never an issue for us. The only issue we had was the the person in the unit above woke up around 4 am and walked around endlessly the first two mornings we were there. Not sure what they were doing, but it made it hard to sleep. Not sure if it’s another rental unit up there or not so we didn’t complain as there probably wasn’t anything the owner could do. They either left or changed their habits the next two mornings as we didn’t hear them and were able to get some sleep in the comfy beds. We are planning on coming back next year and can hopefully rent this place again.

Parking in the area is a nightmare! The apartment (not bungalow per se) was small but nice. Lacked outlets throughout the home - likely due to age, but otherwise functional. Best part of the rental was the owner - very communicative before, during and after the stay - couldn’t have asked for better!

The only reason we are putting anything less than 5 stars is because the host has a security camera outside in the “common area”. The camera is fine, the issue was that the host messaged me about looking in a storage closet which wasn’t locked and should have been and then asked who was it she saw sitting with us in the area-it felt a little invasive and a bit uncomfortable so we wound up not hanging outside in that area much. But she wasn’t rude or anything, it was just unexpected.
Other than that, the location is unbeatable, the unit is very clean and has all the amenities we needed and more, the host is super kind and friendly, the house cleaners were very kind when we were leaving, and we would recommend this to others.

Perfect escape
We were here for a conference but wanted something that provided us a reprieve from the conference world...this place was the perfect escape and retreat. Close to the beach, caught every sunset, clean, comfy and our host was very accommodating. I hope to return with my 2 children for a real vacation!

Absolutely Wonderful Place to Stay
Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. This was our first Vrbo stay. the location proximity to the beach is so close! The decorations and amenities the apartment offer is excellent too! Traveled with my 3 daughters (20, 18 & 16) from Ohio! This place was worth the 2500 mile drive for spring break. Thank you!
