Dieses schöne Cape Cod ist für die Vermietung zur Verfügung. Mit drei geräumige Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer, bietet das Ferienhaus außergewöhnlichen Komfort für eine sechsköpfige Familie. Die herrliche, Rundum-Terrasse ist im vorderen bedeckt und bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf den See und das Ende der Bluff. Es gibt einen großen Hof mit allmählichen Steigung für Kinder zu spielen oder Sport Haustiere. Die ruhige, Schotterstraße, vorbei an der Hütte geht nur durch andere Häusler verwendet, und ist ideal für Radfahren oder Wandern.
Die Eingangstür in die Hütte führt in einem Land, Küche, die komplett zum Kochen ausgestattet ist. Gleich neben der Küche ist ein charmantes Esstisch mit Blick auf den See. Das Wohnzimmer in der Vorderseite des Ferienhaus verfügt über komfortable, hochwertige Ausstattung für die Gäste zu Abend Filme oder Brettspiele zu genießen. Die erste Etage Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett, und neben dem geräumigen ersten Stock Badezimmer mit Dusche / Badewanne Combo entfernt.
Die zweite Etage verfügt über zwei weitere Schlafzimmer, jedes mit Gauben zur Verbesserung der Blick auf den See. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett und die anderen zwei Einzelbetten. Ein Badezimmer mit Dusche ist in der Diele am oberen Ende der Treppe befindet.
Die natürliche, Ebene Seeufer und Kiesstrand ist ideal für Kinder. Die Wassertiefe ist stufenweise für das ideale Schwimmen, und ein Dock ist vorhanden, um Ihr Boot anzulegen.
Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gehören das Restaurant am Seeufer am Switzerland Inn, preisgekrönte Weingüter wie McGregor Vineyards und Ravines Wine Cellars, die Windmill Farm und Craft Market und nur 10 Autominuten von Penn Yan und Hammondsport entfernt!

Great accommodations and excellent fishing.

Good property and location. Steps coming into back door too high for older people. Steep slope from driveway to back door. Very hazardous and dangerous to older renters . Driveway “ poles and rocks are poor barriers when backing out of driveway. No railings from front porch steps to front yard. Basic safety issues that should be addressed.

This was our second time staying at this location. We absolutely love everything about it. They only thing we didn't enjoy was the water pressure at all fixtures. When taking a shower, the water just trinkled out of the shower head. There is either a broken pipe somewhere or the owner has to readjust the amount of the waterflow. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.

The house was very clean, pretty and in the perfect spot. We made a mistake with parking and they were so polite and kind in helping us fix the problem. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

House was fine overall. Water pressure was great. Bushes in driveway need to be cut back and trimmed. Difficult to enter/exit vehicle for passengers.Very pleased with accommodations other than that.

We loved the place and would rent it again if we head this way. Quiet, clean and the staff responded immediately to a problem with the water. Good location and quiet neighborhood. Also enjoyed the local restaurant Switz which is about half a mile away and great lake views and the Curtiss Museum and the Boat Museum in Hammondsport.

The house fit all of our needs. It was clean and comfortable and in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. When we arrived, we found a goodie bag for us and a goodie bag for our dog. That was a nice surprise. Being across the road from the lake was amazing. We took in some gorgeous sunsets while relaxing on the dock. The covered porch was also a great feature. We truly enjoyed our stay at Lakewood Landing and would recommend it highly. We look forward to staying there again.

It was my husband, myself, son, daughter and son-in-law in this pet friendly home. It was the perfect size. We enjoyed the front porch so much. The welcome package came in so handy with 2 dish tabs, dish soap….only complaint our shower had several hairs in it upon arrival.

Great stay
The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Clean comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The dock is across a quiet road. The road has zero traffic but is a great walkway to the Switz. There’s a brew pub about a half mile walk away as well. We hung out on the dock on the chairs they had down there. It’s a little shallow but we were able to dock our boat without any issues. It didn’t rain but if it did there was a big covered porch. The place was great.

welcoming and very thoughtful
I'd say the property is well managed. After we booked the cottage, they sent me emails with checking in/out instructions, list of what to bring, ect; in each email, I was assured that I can call them for any concerns/questions/issues. We felt so welcomed! It's very clean, well equipped and they even had treats for my dogs! How lovely and thoughtful! The neighbor is very quiet, the water of the lake is very clear and clean. One more thing I want to mention is that there was a note left with one of the planters on the porch to remind us to water it carefully as there was a bird nest in there! During our stay, the birds were hatched! It shows that the property owner/management staff are so caring and friendly! Thank you for letting us had a wonderful/relaxing vacation there!

Great stay with a few glitches
We had an amazing stay,place was very clean and kitchen well stocked. Just a few things--There is no king size bed upstairs as listed,it is a full size. Parking was not sufficient for 3 vehicles with trailers. Exact parking should have been communicated properly as we had another home owner harass us even tho we already took care of the parking issue with our rental company.
Overall, the place was very nice,rental owners were very nice as well and we had a great vacation.

Would visit again!
Was with a group of 5 adults who came for a weekend of wine tours. The house itself was perfect for our group. There was plenty of space and accommodations. The wrap around porch was beautiful and offered plenty of shade. Everything we needed for outside was in great shape- furniture, grill, & fire pit. The dock was perfect for relaxing on as well. The “neighborhood” was quiet and there was a restaurant and brewery within walking distance. I can’t say enough good about the house, property, and surroundings. I will definitely be back!

Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway
My spouse and I wanted a long weekend getaway for us to spend with our mothers. I can not say enough positive about the property and our experience. The location was quiet, the home spacious and very well kept inside and out. It met all four of our expectations. They provided all nice linens and the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. Although we were not right on the lake ( which we understood before booking), it still had lale access and it's own dock to sit at and fish. We caught several nice size bass! The community was quiet and allows us enjoyable meals and puzzle time on the porch. Even when we were not able to figure out the downstairs TV ( there were 5 remotes and we just couldn't get cable but could watch dvds), the property management sent maintenance out the very next am and fixed the loose cable. This place was clean, modern, open spaced enough for my aged parent that uses a cane, and the perfect place that allowed us to feel as if we were fortunate enough to be invited to a family member's well kept vacation home and not a place where it felt cold, too pristine or as if we didn't get our money's worth. When we want to return, we definitely will try to come here again and we will recommend it to our friends and family too.

Nice house, nice stay
Everything was very nice. Very clean. Only two things could have been different. Much smaller than expected. Wide angle lenses make the inside look larger then it actually is. Also, needs privacy shades on windows. Over all pleased, definitely looking forward to return.

Beautiful time!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house is lovely and cozy and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is particularly nice. Very spacious and great for family dinners. Be aware that the dock leading to the lake is NOT attached and is actually across the street and down a long flight of stairs. If you're bringing a kayak or canoe, it's a tad tricky to get it down to the lake. But still lovely overall! Highly recommended for families!

Furniture in home is in poor condition. Both recliners were broken, couches not comfortable- beds not comfortable. It’s time to upgrade the furnishings!!

Beautiful location, great house
Check in was super easy, the house was exactly as pictured and very clean. There was plenty of room outside and inside. The house had close access to a dock on the lake. The street was quiet and in a good location. We were a group of 6 with a puppy and were all very pleased with our stay. Would recommend and will book again!

We were very happy to have found this great location. Very friendly neighborhood and close to restaurants and lakes. The dock area was just across the road and very easy to access. The home was comfortable and had what we needed.

Nice home, well equipped and clean. In a convenient area close to both Hammondsport and Penn Yan.
We were there the second week of September and it turned rainy and cold, but if we’d had better weather we may have been disappointed in the very small beach. But it’s truthfully represented in the pictures so no complaints.
