The cottage was perfect for our family! We enjoy the location, as it was a quick walk or bike ride to everything! The screened-in porch/ patio was so nice to have with the additional space it gave us. The only issue, was that when it rained, the carpets in this porch/patio became very wet and musty. Jekyll Realty came out quickly to take care of the water. Overall, we had a great week!

Beautiful smaller 3 bedroom home in classic '60's ranch home style, but with modern updates such as granite countertops in kitchen. Photos and description in listing were accurate - no surprises. The place was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped. Warm, cozy, private and secluded - we saw deer in the yard every evening. Large Jekyll room was very bright and airy and had a really nice sofa. Very short walk to beach access on Barron Lane. Would stay here again in a minute!

The cottage was beautiful, well appointed and nicely maintained. One block easy walk to the beach. Large, open sunroom. There were an abundance of flora and large oak trees surrounding the home. Deer were seen daily from the sunroom and could see dolphins at sunrise from the beach. Highly recommend!

Our 23rd year of vacationing on Jekyll Island and first time at this house, the Beachwalk. The owners have thought of everything you need, down to nightlights in the bathrooms. Grab bars in the showers are handy for those of us older people, a safety plus! Kitchen is lovely, stove with all the newer features such as a convection oven. I was happy to see a Kerig and a crockpot, 2 appliances I use so much at home. There was also a regular coffee maker for those needing to make a larger quantity. Plenty of silverware and utensils too, and the plates/dishes were lovely. The only thing I was disappointed with was the sunporch, which was not heated, so when staying in the winter, it's not likely to be warm enough to enjoy. It looked newly furnished with lovely sofas and a huge table for eating or playing games. All in all, this house is perfect for a family with children and perfect for the "older" crowd! We'll be back!!

While everything about this property was very good it's location on Jekyll is perfect. A very short 1 minute walk and you're on the beach. The house was well maintained, equipped and clean. Especially appreciated the credit given for renting beach equipment, we chose bikes as you can't come to Jekyll Island and not enjoy all the miles of bike paths. Everything added up to an excellent stay and vacation. Highly recommended.

I have been many beach vacations and nothing ever seems to fit our specific needs but this was exactly perfect! Close enough to the beach that I felt comfortable with my kids riding their bikes to the beach which was great! Loved having a pool so close to the beach so we could easily walk back and forth from the beach to the pool. The house was just perfect! Loved the screened in area for hanging out and eating. We had deer hanging our near the house and the kids loved it. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you

The location is very nice - between the commercial area and Driftwood Beach. The home is well maintained and had everything we needed. It was very clean - felt no sand inside under foot. No negatives here - it is what it is though - a very well maintained older home. Perfect for a get away to enjoy the beach, sea turtle hospital, old town district, etc.

I loved that even though your information said the property would be ready at 4, it was ready earlier and you took the keys to the property and gave me call letting me know all was ready, keys were in the house and I could go straight there instaed of stopping to check in. We did not get to spend much time there but I qas thankful for the games you had available, as well. We played the trivia game every night. Jekyll is my favorite island to visit. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Beachwalk. It was close to so many important parts of a vacation on Jekyll Island. It was close to the beach, the bike trail, and restaurants. The house was immaculate and provided everything necessary for a large family. We had a great time!

We stayed at Beachwalk for two weeks in July snd it was ideal for what we were after. Rest, relaxation, beach access, and plenty of time to read. The house is great, the beach very nearby, and the screened in porch was especially nice.

We've stayed in this house the last four years and have always enjoyed the location and what the house has to offer. The only downside is the porch flooding and the mold that causes. We did not report it this year because it happened three times while we stayed so there was no point. I don't think I will rent it again until they tear out that carpet in there.

We had a wonderful stay at Beachwalk! We had actually stayed at this property in the early '80's and remember it well. We especially love the screened in area that used to be the carport. Everything was very nice and very clean. It was exactly what we needed for a great stay! We look forward to coming back as soon as possible.

This property location and set up was ideal for a family get away. Convenient walk to the beach was perfect, especially with littles. The home was well appointed and we really made use of the oversized sunroom. Great week, would definitely book again!!
