Helle und sonnige Hütte im Wald. Toller offener Raum, perfekt für Familien, um jede Jahreszeit abzuhängen. Die Hütte befindet sich 5 Minuten vom Donner Lake, Truckee und den Tahoe Donner Pools, Tennis, Fitnesscenter, Golf und Driving Range entfernt. Zwei kleine Familien können bequem in das Haus passen und sorgen für lustige Familienerinnerungen. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer (Master-Suite mit König, eine Königin und ein Doppelschlafzimmer). Es gibt auch ein bequemes ausklappbares Queensize-Schlafsofa und ein zusätzliches osmanisches Einzelbett. Der Vorgarten liegt an einem sanften Hang, der im Winter ideal zum Rodeln mit den Kindern ist, und der flache Garten im Hintergrund ist ideal, um im Sommer einfach nur herumzulaufen. Das Haus hat einen neuen Whirlpool auf der hinteren Terrasse ... großartig im Winter und Sommer. Im Sommer gibt es eine Gas-Feuerstelle, die Sie perfekt zum Braten von Marshmallows oder einfach zum Genießen der Landschaft nutzen können.
Im Winter ist es eine kurze Fahrt zu den Pisten ... 15 Minuten von Sugarbowl, 20 Minuten von Northstar und Squaw entfernt. Entspannen Sie sich im Sommer auf der Sonnenterrasse oder auf der ruhigen Schaukel im Garten oder fahren Sie den Hügel hinunter zum Donner See. Gegen eine tägliche Gebühr haben Sie Zugang zum privaten Yachthafen, in dem Sie paddeln, segeln, Kayak fahren oder einfach am See entspannen können. Gegen eine tägliche Gebühr haben Sie Zugang zu den Tahoe Donner-Pools, dem privaten Jachthafen, dem Fitnesscenter, dem Reitzentrum, Tennis und Golf. This home was clean and well set up for guests. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need for cooking. The location was good on a private road. Someone else wrote that it was by a busy road. I didn’t find that to be a problem as the busy road is as far enough. My only complaint would be that there was no space for us to put our dry goods.

The house inside temp was 88 degrees when we arrived & no way to cool it down. The windows in the bedrooms do not open & the screens on the exterior bedroom doors allow moths to enter. We were not able to sleep & left first thing after one night although we paid for 2. The housekeeper told us she reported the heat issue to the owners. The decks were not clean & had heavy tree pollen.

This was the perfect retreat for our family of two adults and two young kids. Cabin has everything you need, owner was incredibly responsive, and hot tub jets were nice and strong. You can tell it’s a place where many happy memories have been created, and it just created some for us. I’m sure it will for you too.

The home was wonderful. It was perfect for our group, the hot tub was an amazing feature too. We cooked in the nicely stocked kitchen, had the fireplace on for warmth and ambiance as the snow fell, and enjoyed the hot tub, which is very hot. There were 5 adults, two teens and two dogs and the home was spacious enough for us all.

We had a great time at this rental and the owner was great to communicate with via text. The house is very well lived in. It was the first rental I’ve been in that I felt the need to text pictures to on the day of check-in to show that we didn’t cause the damage. For example- there is leak damage that hasn’t been repaired in the ceiling of the bunk bed room, there are burn marks on the kitchen counters on both sides of the range, a light bulb was completely broken off and propped up in the master bedroom, the weather stripping in the door leading to the back deck is falling off. Did any of these things affect the quality or comfort of our trip? Definitely not. But I didn’t want the owner to think any of it was caused by us and I wasn’t sure if there was a management company that hadn’t been updating her, so I ended up bugging the owner a bit and hopefully it didn’t sound like complaining. A couple hours of maintenance could definitely spruce it up.
Overall we had a great time. BBQ worked great. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. The towels were worn but it was fine. Plenty of sleds!

We really enjoyed this house. Having stayed at many Tahoe Donner houses, the organization of this house was incredible. Every drawer labeled clearly with what supplies where inside. Very good cooking utensils for a family that likes to cook together. Grill was very clean. Hot tub was great, very hot! Great spring break skiing with our family.

This cabin was perfect for us. We had myself and my husband, our three kids in their 20's and two significant others. It sleeps 8 very comfortably, and we were able to bring my daughter's 45 lb dog as well. Karen was great to communicate with. Everything in the cabin - WiFi, hot tub, televisions, kitchen appliances, etc. worked great. There is plenty of sitting room and a nice cozy fireplace in the main room. It is close to everything in Truckee. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Cabin Z was perfect. Our host Karen was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We appreciated the heads up to the big storm that was heading our way! The drive to downtown Truckee and the ski resorts is an easy drive from Cabin Z! I look forward to a future stay at Cabin Z!!

This place was perfectly situated between Donner and Truckee and had plenty of room for two families of 4. We hit the slopes, went to Truckee for food, and then sledded and played in the snow at the cabin. The hottub was a lovely addition and helped us older folks keep up with the teenagers. Would rent again!

Our family really enjoyed staying Karen’s house. Everything was well stocked and kids loved playing board games away from electronic devices. Neighbors are quiet and surrounded by forest. There is a nice trail from the backyard that we enjoyed walking or running.
We like to stay Karen’s house next time when we visit Tahoe.

We loved this house as a getaway girls weekend. The location was perfect, flying into Reno and a beautiful short 40 min drive to Truckee. Karen was very communicative and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, quiet neighborhood, shopping and dining in the area. I would recommend this house to anyone in need of a weekend or even longer away!

House was great! We arrived a day after a major storm and it was easy to get into the garage and house. A narrow path to the hot tub was even shoveled! Lots of kitchen ware to cook and plenty of room to spread out. Hardwood floors were especially nice for my son with allergies.
Karen was super communicative and responsive. We touched base given there was another storm rolling in and she sent emails with all of the neighborhood snow removal updates.

We stayed here to get some snow time in, and this was the perfect spot! Between the great backyard (built a sled track and tunnel), the layout of the house and hot tub, this was everything we needed. We had two families (4 adults and 4 children ages 5-9), and we enough space. The bunk bed room was on point. The owner was so clear and responsive in her communication. The kitchen has what we needed to prepare all our meals. Thank you for the wonderful trip Karen!

The kitchen, dining room and living room set up was perfect for cooking, gathering, playing games and general fun.
Karen communicated very well and helped us navigate all things snow while we were there and before too.

We enjoyed the cabin over new years, easy check in, we had all the amenities needed. Even better our fur babies enjoyed their trip. This location is close to town so that makes it super easy if you need groceries, or want to explore. It’s also very close to the ski resorts.
We had so much fun getting snowed in for the day. Snowball fights , movies and drinks. It was great.

Had a wonderful time with my family at this cabin. It had everything you needed to make your stay relaxing and joy able. The only thing we had issue with was tv had no idea there was no cable until after we booked. Other then the tv issue once we figured out everything was good.

The house was clean and matched description on site. Owners were responsive when internet wasn’t working on a holiday, which we really appreciated. We were happy to have a place for our dogs, hot tub, kids games and sledding hill within walking distance. It was a nice touch to have the cabinets and drawers labeled as well. Thanks!

We spent a wonderful Labor day weekend at the Z Cabin. The owners are very gracious and the property has everything one needs regardless of the season. The Z Cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood of the historic Tahoe Donner area offering tremendous privacy.
The best part for us was the easy hiking access to smazing downtown Truckee and proximity to other Donner lake and Tahoe attractions. We are sure to return!

The host was great; communication was excellent. The house was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking and dining. I neglected to realize there was no air conditioning and that would be my biggest complaint. There was no screen door on the living room slider and the windows in the bedrooms didn’t open. They had sliders with very poor screens. To reach the hot tub you had to go through a bedroom and the patio was lacking and covered in weeds. Because of the lack of air conditioning I wouldn’t be able to stay here again since I only go up there in the summer. The rest I could look live with because of the location

Are stay was excellent. A hiccup in the beginning however, Karen was a champ! She is a joy to work with. The place is beautiful and if we need to stay in Truckee we would love to stay again.

Good place to stay. House faces West so living space is warm in afternoon. Driveway was little steep. Spa is nice.

We had a great time in Tahoe and Karen's house was very comfortable for our short stay. The best part of the experience was Karen, the owner. She was very responsive and was consistently updating me on anything going on in Tahoe that she as a text or email.
