The atmosphere I liked the most. I felt like an artist. Everything was inspiring for creation: painting,writing a book or just reading one

The breakfast was not so rich, but the staff was very friendly and made you fiel like a nobel.

Everything. Was. Perfect! We've been here 3 times now, it's a true gem; every single detail is surrounded by the care of fantastic hosts! A magnificent house, caring smiles, amazing dolci for breakfast, I could go on! There's a large Supermarket about 5 mintues away, wonderful Lucca around 10, a great beach in ~20-25 where you have a choice to go to a paid bagno or a free spaggia. Popular sights (Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre, etc.) are also manageable. Let this villa be your home away from home. ❤️

Our stay at the villa was wonderful. We would go back anytime, we will definitely go back. It's and old, classic mansion which was separated into individual rooms or apartments. We had a two room, wooden beams ceiling one and it was great. It has all these neat, classic details, starting with a library full of books, board games and all. There's a huge garden full of shade available (the shade even covers part of the enclosed car park. The breakfast was so Italian, with all sorts of backed tarts and goodies. Thank you for the experience!

Spacious room, that - in spite of the villa being close to the railway & road - was extremely quiet. Friendly hosts. Convenient location for Pisa, Lucca, Garfagnana, etc. Looks like there's a great garden /park that we unfortunately couldn't enjoy because of the weather. We would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this historic villa. The nice lady who baked for a us very delicious cake for breakfast, had a nice chat and explained us the role of that place in the past. Our room was located in the first floor with the entrance to patio. Really romantic and worth to visit.

Chique old villa with sprawling garden, lovely small dogs and even more lovely owners. Five (!) different homemade cakes for breakfast. What more has there to be said?
