Extremely clean home. Everything you would need is there. Definitely up there in the hills but very quiet. Road is a bit sketchy but as long as no other cars are coming, which is rare, you're good.

This Cabin was all it claimed to be, clean, cozy and the location was great

This cabin is truly amazing. The owners are very receptive. There are beautiful views from every window. The beds are so comfortable, and the kitchen has more than what you will need to cook huge meals like we did.
You will not be disappointed.
We already sent info to a lot of friends that were interested in staying here after seeing our pictures.
No bear sightings, but definitely 5 stars in our book!!

We enjoyed staying at Bearadise. The location made it easy for us to travel to the Smoky Mts., Pisgah Forest, and Asheville. We enjoyed spending time outside by the fire. Great bird watching. Unfortunately we didn’t see any bears, but it was a great experience.

The property was wonderful and the owners have done a great job making the stay perfect

We had a wonderful time at Bearadise Cabin. Jill and Joe were always so helpful and answered all our questions. We have stayed here twice and will definately be back again!
4.7
Best ever stocked kitchen for cooking! Everything was great other than one negative. The drive into the neighborhood and drive up to cabin is challenging and tight. Otherwise, a great cabin for family!!

Beautiful property!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect!

After a steep and sometimes scary climb, we found the cabin hideaway. Nice cabin. 4 bedrooms with the 4 being in the bottom area. Not a bed but a functioning futon. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was fun. Bathrooms clean. Kitchen had all the appliances we needed. Cozy porch to watch the sun come up over the mountain. No Bears to see outside this time...but I kept my eyes peeled just in case. Lots of knickknack bears inside, thus the name Bearadise. Lovely place for peace and quiet.

An amazing cabin, filled with several game activities for the little ones!!!
We played pool for hours!!! A cute little home away from home!!!

Our visit: 3 nights. We were surprised at how clean and modern everything was. This cabin has everything a family could want... pool table, fire pit, hot tub, games, video games, whirlpool tub, washer/dryer, etc. The layout was great, having the upstairs loft room for my son and a separate room for my daughter. Owners were very responsive before/after our stay (didn't need anything during our stay). Much helpful info was provided before we arrived. The area was central to a lot of outdoor activities. We hiked, went horseback riding, and drove around the towns. We are not an overly adventurous family, so we definitely enjoyed having a cozy cabin to relax in for late afternoon/evening family time. We did bring our pup along. I heard bears visited our cabin, but in the middle of the night, so we never saw them. FYI-Dollar General closest to the cabin was great for general groceries, including produce, frozen options, eggs, soups, drinks, etc. Our first night we ordered pizza, and had it delivered via DoorDash, as we were a little nervous about driving back in the dark. So, the drive up was a little tricky the first time, as mountain rode gets narrow (1-lane) and steep. Oncoming traffic was rare but requires someone to pull over/back-up. We got used to it, but not sure we would try in the winter with our Honda. For having our dog there, we walked up the road, but a little nervous about wildlife. A great spot of grass by fire pit was helpful. Loved our stay!

Nice place. Off the beaten path.

Very clean and organized.
Kitchen well stocked.
Everything lived up to our expectations.
Small Note: Mattress in Loft area sank a bit, could use replacement. Need some new Pool Sticks, Tips missing.
Overall a wonderful experience with family, enjoyed the hot tub and views of mountains!
No Bear sightings on this trip.

We spent July 4th weekend here and absolutely loved it and all that Maggie Valley had to offer! The only bears we saw were the adorable bear themed decor. Great setup, for family with teens. Kitchen has everything you need to cook once you get in a groove. Deck has a great view and ate many meals out there! The yard space is good for corn hole games, but do not recommend tossing a ball on the property (hope the bears find our football). Garage/basement is a great teen space! As other reviews say, the drive up is a little nerve racking, but was able to get my 4WD Tacoma in and out. Only complaints were with the hottub (which had a leak) and the ceiling fan in primary bedroom (not working, which was hot for summer), but the owners were quick to respond and seem have repairs on the horizon. I highly recommend and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Ive never seen a rental with such a well stocked kitchen and all other needed amenities!!! The hot tub was quite enjoyable. I did get to see a bear run up the hill and down the drive while there. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The property had everything we needed. Clean, with nice amenities like the hot tub and game room (pool table, ping pong, darts). Fairly close proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway and under an hour from Asheville - had a great time!

We had a great stay at Bearadise! We loved the game room and hot tub! It has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Three couples, two cars, a rather dramatic narrow and steep road, best approached in broad daylight, and sans snow or ice. Once safely at the cabin we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. There are two proper bedrooms, one balcony space with a bed, and one sleep sofa on the bottom floor next to a bathroom with an inviting tub, which we did not indulge. We did, however, indulge the hot tub, which was a highlight. Lots of DVDs, decent wifi, a reasonably well appointed kitchen, and just enough sitting room for the six of us to stretch out and spread out. Overall, a nice time, and glad to write this review, because of the memories it will help to foment.
4.7
This property was wonderful. The house had everything you could think you would need and more. The location was great, view was amazing. The roads in were a bit steep as mentioned so definitely be prepared. The hot tub and game room added to a great weekend!
4.7
We enjoyed our stay here! It was close to skiing at Cataloochee which is why we went to Maggie Valley. We had four adults and four teens. The cabin fit us nicely. The futon was okay for two teens girls, but it may not have been comfortable for two adults. The kitchen had plenty of pots and cooking. The drive to the cabin was pretty steep. We didn’t have any trouble getting in or out, but it would be hard if there was ice on the road.
I would recommended visiting The Different Drummer pottery shop. They have beautiful pottery! We also enjoyed The Buttered Biscuit and BooJum in Waynesville.

We had a great time at the cabin. It was quiet and very relaxing.

Owner was very nice. Property was clean, very stocked and wr really enjoyed ourselves!! Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Beardise. It is beautiful cabin with beautiful views! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving week with our family. The hot tub was a great way to relax.
4.7
This cabin was great. It had everything that we needed. The game room was lots of fun. The owners were great communicating with us and sent someone over right away when we had trouble with the fireplace. The only downside was the street to get to the cabin. The one way, curved streets were a little unnerving when you're not used to driving in the mountains.

I found someone who loves bears more than I do! Joe

Bearadise is a beautiful cabin up, up, UP on the mountainside in the trees. It was well maintained and very welcoming. The hot tub was wonderful on the cold nights. The owners we very quick to respond when we had a few questions while we were there. Last but not least, the bears came! It was very exciting but I wouldn’t recommend putting any trash out, even in the designated bin. They tossed it all over the mountainside which we spent some time the next morning cleaning up what they didn’t eat. This property is not for the faint of heart when it comes to heights, vertical incline and tiny roads. My mom had to close her eyes every time we went to and from the cabin but nonetheless, once we got there, she loved it!
4.7
Bearadise did not disappoint! The cabin is not too far from the city and little shops, but secluded enough to where you feel like you are truly on a mountain getaway. The cabin truly has character, is clean, and the hot tub is a huge bonus!
4.7
It was great they were so helpful! I left my apple I pad trying to see if y’all can ship it to me. I will pay the shipment.🤣

We all had a wonderful time in this house.
Pros: Plenty of essentials in the kitchen-cutlery, plates, glasses, pans, etc. Beds were comfortable. The Jacuzzi was great. The view was wonderful, and it was very secluded-no visible homes around us. We appreciated the opportunity to bring the family dog. He loved the morning coolness. We loved the pool table and ping-pong table-definitely added some fun and playful competition. the home was close to everything.
Cons: Showerheads were a little low for the men and the water pressure was not strong. Took a little longer to take showers and wash hair.
The loft got very hot at night, so we had to reconfigure sleeping arrangements.
Overall, a very pleasant stay. We traveled all around-From Cherokee to Asheville and sites in-between, though sitting on the porch and just relaxing was probably our favorite part of the whole trip. I have used VRBO for years and this was one of the nicer places.

Bearadise is a bear lovers dream!
Absolutely perfect place! The cabin was perfect for our family plenty of room to space out but still all be together! The kids loves the downstairs with the game room it was their own little slice of heaven down there! The kitchen had everything you could think of to prepare a family meal. The best part is all the bears in the cabin and the real momma and three baby bears that came to visit along with a raccoon who my kids named “rocky” and some deer! We will definitely be back! It was amazing cabin!

It was cute and quiet. Inside was smaller than the pictures on website but it was manageable. Getting there caused anxiety. But overall it was a nice place, clean and quiet.

Bearadise lives up to its name. We loved looking at all the bears throughout. It’s a great cabin! Good comfortable beds made for restful nights. TV’s, movies, games to entertain kids. We really enjoyed the deck and fire pit. So peaceful and relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the quiet. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that might be needed. Plenty of room at the tables inside and out on the deck. The road up to the cabin is paved and in good condition even if a little narrow at the end. We even had a visit from a bear and a cute little raccoon! Our family really loved our time here at this lovely cabin and hiking on the Blue Ridge, GSMNP, Gatlinburg, Waynesville and of course Maggie Valley.

Bearadise
Place was nice, we saw wild bears with three cubs, the roads were pretty scary to navigate but after a few times it was better. Getting all the trash out to prevent being charged wasnt the best because you have to load it up in your vehicle with all your regular stuff but the dump sit isn’t too far of a drive.

The house had everything we needed. Had a fabulous time.
