Our family (3 families - 11 in total) stayed at Le Domicile on Point for our Christmas holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it.The location gives you the best of both the lake and the beaches in the area. The lake offered a safe haven for toddlers to swim, play on the grass picnic areas or the older kids to go fishing. Close to shopping centres, cafes, clubs and pubs. Access to Rafferty's Resort is awesome - cafe and pools!A few issues with communication with the property managers - but easily fixed, garbage collection over xmas period, wifi(in and out) and housekeeping but can't fault the house itself.The house is spacious, comfy, well stocked, kid friendly (kids 10mths-7yrs had no issues) and has a huge garage where the kids & adults can play pool, kids can ride their scooters or any other indoor activities. We used the front lawn for outdoor activities as it was level but you need to supervise kids as it is not fenced off and the side yard has a steep decent. Great outdoor wrap around verandah with BBQ and enough tables and chairs to fit us all for meals - Awesome! You really don't have to bring anything else for your stay except your beach towels and your personal toiletries & belongings - so good! Thoroughly recommend Le Domicile On Point.

Wow, just perfect, everything and more than advertised. The house was immaculate and included little touches like games for the kids, and teenagers, fully equipped kitchen, everything we didn't realize we needed. Stayed for a family wedding it will always be a highlight for all of us, we will definitely stay again.

The kitchen was well supplied with everything you could possibly want but tea towels..this didn’t worry us as we always travel with extras.
The outside balcony was lovely for meals, lunch and dinner.

Clean and well presented, not quite as close to Newcastle as thought, not knowing the area, but nice and quiet. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms! Bit disappointing that the Resort wasn’t open when we were there so couldn’t use the restaurant.

Our group of 10, two families and grandparents had a wonderful stay. Place was beautiful, luxurious, clean, spacious and kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary items. Plenty of crockery, serving dishes, cutlery for entertaining and bbq feast. The spacious front living/tv room and 4 bathrooms was a bonus for sharing for families with kids.
Kaitlyn the property manager was very helpful and responsive with queries. Having access to Rafferty's resorts tennis courts, swimming pool and boating facilities was great. A superb place to enjoy a weekend getaway. Our group had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Only one minor point that does not change the 5 star rating: bottom dishwasher rack needs fixing, missing some wheels and out of balance when sliding in and out.

Also did not pack kitchen things as it read that everything was supplied, however no tea towels, can opener or bottle opener.

Beyond expectations
The property was bigger than we thought so each family was able to comfortably stay within their own areas when needed. Having access to Raffertys was great on Easter weekend with all the activities and the pantry was well stocked with essentials and appliances. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and enjoyed our time there.

Amazing home. Highly recommended!
We stayed with a groups of friends as our camping trip got cancelled last minute. We were lucky this home was available at such short notice. Kaitlyn was a great host and very accommodating. Home was beautiful, clean, fully furnished with everything you would need (home away from home) and was very spacious. The kids had a ball playing pool and hanging out in the large media room. It was great to have access to the pool and lake at Rafferty's Resort. Great location. Less than 10min from Caves Beach and Swansea which had a Coles/Woolies and restaurants/cafes. You also don't need to go to the gym as you get a great workout with the stairs 🙂. Will come back for sure!

Great stay in gorgeous home
We had 3 families (6 adults and 4 children) stay in this gorgeous and spacious home for the weekend. We LOVED it and will definitely be back!
Kaitlyn was extremely accommodating and gave us an early check in and a later departure time (upon request), which was amazing.
The wonderful house is large with enough room for 10 people, which was excellent.
If I had to be super critical about anything, I would suggest having mini shampoo/conditioner/soap in the bathrooms. Besides that, this property was amazing.

A spacious house for friends and family
The house is so generous in space - we have a few adults and children and it fit us without being on top of each other. There was plenty of bathroom and also break o spaces for kids and adults to be in separate areas. We will definitely recommend this house for a large group of friends and families

Gorgeous getaway for friends or family
We had such a lovely time staying here. The property has wonderful facilities - you couldn’t ask for anything more. A great location for any activity near the lake or to get to local beaches. Well equipped with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms - plenty of living space and separate areas for people to be in the house if you have a larger group staying. Would definitely recommend!

Large garage fit all 3 cars, 2 medium SUVs, and a hatch. 3 families comfortably shared the 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms home, each family with their own bathroom, and one communal one. The large game/tv room is fantastic for the kids, the large wraparound balcony perfect for outdoor entertaining. There is also a nice cosy TV room upstairs with recliner sofa for 2 adults. Kitchen is well equipped with cooking ingredients and other aids, e.g. gladwrap and foil, etc. There is also a wine fridge!The usage of the facilities in Rafferty resort is a big plus for the kids.Room for improvements: The dishwasher was not working on first day of arrival of our 3 nights stay, service was called, but not fixed till the last night of stay. A bit more urgency to fix the issue would have been nice.The water pressure in the showers upstairs are a bit weak, would have benefit if a separate water heater is dedicated for the showers/kitchen downstairs, and a separate one for upstairs. As no hot water available in the showers upstairs when they were using the hot water downstairs.The snooker table only has one usable cue stick, all the other cues were missing the cue tip, and a missing ball is replaced by a white ball.The queen bed I slept in seems to large support and a bit noisy, when i look underthe bed, there seems to be two pieces of wood, i.e. supports seems to be dislodged.

Large modern house
The pluses:
Large home with plenty of living areas. Large garage fit all 3 cars, 2 medium SUVs, and a hatch. 3 families comfortably shared the 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms home, each family with their own bathroom, and one communal one. The large game/tv room is fantastic for the kids, the large wraparound balcony perfect for outdoor entertaining. There is also a nice cosy TV room upstairs with recliner sofa for 2 adults.

A gem of a place
There were four couples travelling and we could not have been happier. The bedroom layouts, two living areas, large balconies, massive garage and a huge kitchen dining area.
Location is perfect too, 5 mins from town, next to the resort, pool, boat ramp, restaurant, cafe and shop.

Lovely family Xmas break
We had a group of 11 and enjoyed the spacious property very much. It had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of living spaces for us all to enjoy and spread out - both adults and kids. We made use of the Rafferty’s facilities as well which were walking distance and kept the kids entertained. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Quiet and clean
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was nice, clean and well maintained. There are lots of board games for the kids to enjoy. It was in a quite location yet only a stroll away from Lake Macquarie and Rafferty's resort.
Will recommend to anyone who is visiting the Lake Macquarie area.

Fantastic house, great getaway
The house was very spacious and had heaps of room for our group of 3 families. The massive garage downstairs with pool table, basketball net and scooters was a highlight for the kids. The house was clean, well appointed and Kaitlyn was easy to communicate with. A couple more lamps around the house, as other guests mentioned would have been helpful, but didn’t impact on our stay. We had a lovely time. Thank you.
