Was a bit difficult to move around with my mobility impaired mother, lost our parking spot and wasnt able to come back until the end of the day. Was very very busy labor day weekend. Besides that, everything was perfect. Absolutely beautiful and the hosts were so incredibly sweet. Amazing sunrises from the porch

This was a perfect Coupeville home base for 3 college friends to spend the weekend! Communication was great, apartment was clean, bright, & well appointed. Would not hesitate to stay again! Thank you Patsy & Larry!

We loved staying at Vails View in Coupeville - it was our first time on Whidbey Island, and this location cannot be beat. We didn't have a car, and we were able to walk everywhere. Waking up with the view of the water out our window was incredible. The kitchen was well stocked, and the apartment is very spacious, especially for a couple. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the quaint town of Coupeville!

Although the price was more than we normally pay for lodging, it certainly was a convenient and picturesque location. Walking to restaurants, shopping and the adjacent pier as well as the water view made this stay a good choice. I don’t normally use VRBO and I
struggled finding how we were to access the apartment once we arrived. Perhaps having the app would have helped. Luckily the owner arrived to assist. Apartment and bed comfortable and the area quiet during our stay. Well supplied. Would recommend.

Beautiful town and fantastic unit. Exactly as described on Verbo. The place was very clean, quiet and supplied with all amenities. Located right in town on the bay. Owners were very friendly. Everything worked out perfectly for me. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The vrbo was wonderful and comfortable. Our hosts were fantastic, helpful and we felt like we left as friends. Coupeville is a wonderful town with great food and sites. Whidbey Island has great hiking and site seeing as well. I suggest going downstairs to the Wine tasting room and visiting with your hosts. Have fun and relax.

We love staying in this one bedroom unit in Coupeville. The location is ideal and the small balcony with table and a glass of wine and the best view few ever; is hard to duplicate. Short walk to the best restaurants in town; Front St., Grill and oystercatcher. We would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed here twice. The location is great, with easy access to the warf, beach at low tide, and near by dining and shops. The communication with Valerie is always top notch. She is kind, prompt, and alway accomodating. Thanks Valerie!

This place is wonderful... It is above a little wine shop run by the owners. They are very helpful. The place had everything we needed for a quiet long weekend and a great view over the water in an adorable little town on Whidbey Island. We would definitely return.

We had a very relaxing time. It was a good getaway for us! We enjoyed the water festival, walking around Coupeville, Sitting on the little deck overlooking the water with a glass of wine and watching the boat racing. It was a comfortable place.
I do wish I would’ve known to bring my own coffee creamer.
It was a bit noisy due to the activity of the water festival and people setting up early in the morning. Otherwise it was nice and peaceful.

Positives: Location is truly gorgeous and close to everything. It's surprisingly private and quiet! Even though you're in the middle of the downtown and above a wine bar, they close early, and the whole town is very quiet at night. Street parking is easy (pull in spaces, not parallel parking), even the one time I had to park around the block I just moved my car back at night as the day tourists clear out. The town is lovely, lots to do (we love hiking at Ebey's Landing.) The hosts are very nice. Bring binoculars, there are birds and seals right outside your door!
Negatives: The walls are a little thin to the owner's home, an early morning phone conversation woke me. The kitchen has supplies, but they have a lot of notices about how to not set off alarms that I wouldn't plan to do any cooking. (There are plenty of food options in town, so it isn't really needed.)

Cute one-bedroom cottage with a view of Penn Cove. Clean and cozy. On the 2nd floor above the business, with access by outdoor stairs. Easy walk to shops and dining.

We wanted a quiet place to relax and get away. This was just the place. We stayed mon - wed night right after mussel fest weekend so a lot of the places were closed. I imagine so the owners could recoupe. But it was perfect, no crowds and quiet.

This is a gem! It's right in downtown Coupeville with wonderful restaurants nearby, and a wine shop right downstairs. The hosts are very nice and accommodated a change in our visit when my husband became ill just days before our planned arrival. The place is spotless, well appointed and reasonably priced. We will be back!!!

Patsy and Larry are consummate hosts, making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The property is truly delightful, with stunning views and wonderful locations. The fact that their wine store/tasting room is right underneath is an extra added bonus! I will continue to return!

This apartment had everything we needed for two nights on the water. Next door to great dining, close to the bookstore and when it wasn’t raining we had a lovely walk right on the beach. Would definitely stay again.

What a great place! Nice décor, comfortable bed and furniture, tiny but functional kitchen. The view is wonderful; we took many pictures. It's such fun to stay right in town - just walk down the stairs to shop and eat....and to buy a great bottle of wine from our hosts.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Vail’s View in Coupeville. It was a great location! The unit is not at the end of the building, but is still right over the water with amazing views. I loved waking up to the sound of waves in the morning. The owners are great and own the wine shop downstairs. We stopped in for a great glass of wine. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay. I loved waking up at sunrise and waking down the ward next door to see the seabirds scavenging at low tide. Also easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Lovely area. We’ll be back!

There's not enough good things I can say about Patsy and Larry and their rental in Coupeville. The apartment was cute and had everything we needed, the view was unbeatable, and their wine shop downstairs was the cherry on top! This rental was absolutely worth every penny, and its only a matter of time until we're back.
