Unique and Spacious Artist's House 5 blocks from Main Street
Dieses einzigartige Haus war früher ein Getreidespeicher! Es wurde von Künstlern (uns) in ein schönes, geräumiges und komfortables Zuhause mit vielen interessanten Details umgewandelt. Sie können auch unser Glasblasstudio besuchen, das nur wenige Schritte von der angrenzenden Auffahrt entfernt liegt.
Es gibt reichlich nach Süden ausgerichtete Fenster, die zu jeder Jahreszeit eine gute Aussicht und sonnige Wärme bieten. Alles ist inbegriffen: Waschmaschine und Trockner und großer Fernseher, voll ausgestattete Küche usw.
Das Haus liegt nur fünf Blocks von der Main Street und zwei Blocks von der Haltestelle Targhee Shuttle entfernt.
Im Obergeschoss befinden sich das Hauptschlafzimmer und ein WC sowie ein sehr großer Gemeinschaftsraum mit Fernseher und begehbarem Kleiderschrank. Viel Platz zum Ausstrecken nach einem langen Tag! Die Couch kann bei Bedarf für ein anderes Bett umgeklappt werden.
Es gibt ein separates Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und ein Vollbad mit Badewanne / Dusche sowie die Küche, das Esszimmer und das Wohnzimmer.
Der Speisesaal blickt nach Süden und Osten zu den Grand Tetons und ist zu jeder Tageszeit ein wunderbarer Ort.
Die Küche verfügt über eine Zwei-Personen-Bar zum Entspannen, während Sie Ihren Freunden beim Kochen zuschauen.
Wir denken, Sie werden es hier lieben! Der Gemeinschaftsraum ist warm und einladend und die Schlafzimmer sind gemütlich und privat. We loved our two night stay in Driggs! Thanks for such an excellent place to stay. We loved the new bathroom with washer and dryer, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen.

The property was exactly as expected. It was very clean and the host were very helpful with giving us ideas to do in and around Idaho. The commute to GTNP and Yellowstone was long due to the Teton pass being closed but we made the trip and made it work. My only suggestion is a new mattress in the main level bedroom (which Mary is already aware of), a ceiling fan in the living room upstairs and bushes trimmed at the front door. There was a box fan in a closet and we were able to put in the upstairs living room which helped. Very lovely, clean house and we would definitely stay there again. Thank you Mary and Ralph!!

We stayed 6 nights in this lovely home. It was the perfect base camp for exploring a bit of Yellowstone as well as Grand Teton National Park and Jackson. We loved that the home was only 5 blocks to the main business district in Driggs. This made for an easy walk to dinner and no need to drive, even in the chilly November temperatures. The home has everything you need to prepare a meal, the bed was comfortable and the pellet stove kept us cozy and warm in the evenings. If you have the good fortune to stay here, be sure to check out the glass blowing studio that the hosts operate next door--beautiful work!

Beautiful and comforting. Great view of the backside of the Tetons. Had everything we needed including a pretty shower and yard. Perfect place to stay for exploring the Tetons ❤️Mary was very nice but never met Ralph. Would have liked to see studio but not enough time in our schedule

Our stay at the Granary cottage for 4 nights was very enjoyable. Location is great. Easy drive to Grand Targhee and Jackson. Driggs and Victor are both fun places with good restaurants to eat at. Quiet and scenic surroundings.. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and the hosts very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back.

Home was impeccably clean...very nice. Convenient shopping to grocery store and downtown Driggs. 12 miles to Grand Targhee ski resort (worth the drive even if you don't ski...you can see the back of the Tetons) It is about 30 miles from Jackson through a mountain pass. Scenery is beautiful but drive can be intimidating if you're not use to mountain driving.

Fantastic winter getaway!
What an amazing house in a fabulous location with incredibly thoughtful hosts! Our family of four was able to walk to town and make the quick drive to ski hill. Really appreciate Ralph and Mary’s hospitality, even leaving us a Christmas tree to enjoy!

Fall fishing trip
I liked the property. It was quiet and comfortable. Easy access to everything. Nicely remodeled. Well equipped kitchen, though I didn't cook anything. Only warning for tall folks is the upstairs bathroom door has a low opening. Found out one night around 3AM. Everything else was great.

Wonderful time
Our stay in the Granary was very enjoyable. We used this as a home base for our daily trips into Grand Teton National Park.
Mary and Ralph are terrific hosts, and the place is a testament to good taste and artful decoration. We stayed for five nights, and would highly recommend it. The town of Driggs has a large grocery store as well, which is just down the street. Just a perfect time - highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful
This home is absolutely beautiful and in a wonderful location. There are so many fun little details throughout the home. The owners were great to stay with and very accommodating. They have a wonderful glass shop and are extremely talented, providing us with a tour of our studio.

Wonderful stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay at the granary. We worked remotely there during the week and found the Internet to be great. It was a perfect location for exploring Yellowstone and grand Teton national Park on the weekend. Each evening we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the Adirondack chairs in the sun looking at the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked to cook and Ralph and Mary were very nice. Also the bathroom is newly renovated and it’s gorgeous with a soaker tub. Highly recommend and we will be back if we return to the area.

Great location near Driggs & Targhee
Ralph did a great job of communicating both before and during our stay. The place is even cuter than the photos and had a well appointed kitchen. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This is a great spot if you want to go to Grand Targhee.
The property was nice, rustic, and cozy. The only problem we had was when we booked the property it didn't ask for how many people would be staying. When we arrived with 5 people they the owners were upset because they wanted us to pay $15 per person over 2 people staying in the house. When I booked the reservation with VRBO it states max 6 people, nowhere did it state you needed to pay extra for more than two people. Not happy about the way we were treated and asked to pay an extra $100 for two nights on top of the fees and services we agreed to when booking. Not cool.

Nice house, great location.
We stayed at this property during January 2021. The house was clean, well-lit and warm and had everything that we needed. A sizable collection of books and CDs was also appreciated during the long winter evenings. I thought the property's location was particularly good. Driggs is a small town with a very decent supermarket about 5 min drive from the house. We came primarily to ski and found nice cross country runs right in the town (no need to drive). Also, Grand Targhee ski resort is only a 20 min drive away and there is even a shuttle bus going there from Driggs which stops not far from the property. We really enjoyed our stay.

Couldn't have imagined a better stay at a better price. Ralph was always communicative and accommodating. The location is central, and the house is incredibly clean and unique. Will be recommending this place to friends and family when they are in town :)

Warm and comfy.
Our 4 nights at the "granary" home was very nice and comfortable. It was especially clean. We traveled to Jackson and the Grand Tetons each day for hiking and sightseeing. coming "home" was nice. A large grocery store was nearby. We cooked breakfast and dinner, sat around played cards and relaxed. Mary and Ralph were available to answer questions and share some ideas for points of interest. BTW: We ate lunch at O'Rourke's one day. and they had the best beet salad ever. Grand Teton Vodka distillery was fun & tasty, too. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Great place for Grand Teton adventure
Ralph and Mary have a terrific place! We enjoyed our brief stay. We did some nearby hiking in Caribou-Targhee National Forest, followed by a full day at Grand Teton National Park.
The place was very comfy - great amenities (and book collection)! Plus, they were kind enough to show us around their glass blowing studio and did demonstrations. Fantastic visit!

Very comfortable stay.
This is an unusual house that adds to its charm. It is in an extremely quiet neighborhood. The rooms are large and bright with lots of natural sunlight. Ralph and Mary know the area well and had many valuable suggestions on what to do in the area. They live behind the property and were easily available. We were there for 5 nights and were busy the entire time. It is only a 30-40 minute drive to Grand Teton National Park. Good restaurants in Driggs. Highly recommend!
