Great location, perfect view. Will stay again.

We had two families stay in this house. Fortunately we were all family and get along. The location of the house was great for the beach but a little too far to walk to the shops. The family space was good size for our group and there was enough room for meals. The kitchen was a bit tight. You have to keep it to one chef and an assistant on the side. Overall we loved the place and would rent it again.

This place is very nice. Quiet beach, far enough away from a public entrance that there are only the people staying in neighboring homes on the beach. Great place for a quiet vacation, or to bring your family to play.

The rental was easy and Lori was very easily reached. We had no issues with the property.

Easy access and perfect spot for our wedding on the beach. All the basics were provided, property was clean and comfortable Stayed for a week and will definitely come again.

We were looking for a last minute rental for Memorial Day week when this place suddenly became available. I booked it and the owner replied and confirmed very quickly within an hour so that we could get ready and hit the road the following day for our 8.5 hour drive. As many other reviews noted this is an older style and smaller house compared to some around it however many in Ocean Isle Beach still seem very similar to this one. This was not a problem for us at all and in fact it made it affordable for an ocean front rental home, which is great. I wouldn't try putting more than one family in this house just given the tighter common area but it was great for our family of 5. The house was very clean and ready to go when we arrived, AC worked well, kitchen was well stocked and just about everything was in good order. The check in process was seemless in the sense that there really is none. Lori, the owner, sent us a door code and when we got there it worked, can't get much easier.The views from the back deck are amazing and the 30 second walk to the beach can't be beat. My only recommendation is to get the wifi router/modem replaced. It barely works and is so old it only uses the oldest 802.11 standard and with all the houses competing for frequency range it just doesn't work well at all. I am about 98% sure if you just call the cable company and tell them it is not performing well they would replace it for free as this is also their cable modem and there is no way they support that model any longer. This was more of an issue for my kids than my wife or I but it is easily resolved. Overall the place was exactly what we expected and we would gladly rent it again.

As always our stay was Great. I love the view from the porch. That is my favorite place to sit. The girls and I had a Wonderful time. We will be staying again. Love it!

Location and accommodations were great! Repair of microwave needed. Hose connection needed at back faucet on deck to hose down chairs and beach items

This was a trip with high school friends and we enjoyed the quaintness of the house, the ease of access to the beach, and the local people at the shops & restaurants. Lori was easy to work with & very accommodating to us. We would return for sure.

Loved the property for the price, provided great views, lots of space and plenty of porch space to see the ocean! House was in good shape and clean! We will likely return next year!

My family really enjoyed our week in this beach house! The town of Ocean Isle is very quiet and family-oriented and we definitely plan to go back. The house is an older home which we didn't mind at all - it made an oceanfront property affordable for us so it was well worth it. Lori was quick to respond to any questions we had. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to some small annoyances. First, the beds are not very big. My husband and I ended up sleeping in separate beds because we couldn't comfortably fit in one of the full beds. Second, the living room furniture is just not comfortable for hanging out. It is wicker furniture and really belongs on a sun porch, not in a living room. Last, there were no hooks on the bathroom doors to hang robes, towels, etc. In spite of these things, we still loved our vacation and would do it again. One other thing - be aware that the houses are very close together so if you happen to have obnoxious neighbors you will definitely hear them when your are all out on the porch. Luckily, we had nice neighbors on both sides but I could see this being a problem if you didn't. Overall, if you want an oceanfront house without spending a fortune, I definitely recommend this house!

We came for the beach and that’s what we got! Amazing view to wake up to every morning! At night it’s dark enough to see the stars! Great little town! Would go back in a heartbeat! Lori was easy to work with and always accessible!

For the price point and type of cabin, this is a five star. Clean, comfortable and cool.

The property was perfect for my group. The rooms are spacious and there is no shortage of beds. The home had just what we needed/wanted.

We were a party of six women who play dominoes each week (ages 85 to 72) and we had a wonderful vacation week staying in this oceanfront beach house. The house had everything we needed during our stay, but the best part of all was the porch over looking the ocean and the constant soothing sound of the waves. It was absolutely awesome. It had eight very comfortable rocking chairs and of course this was where we spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful view along with gorgeous sunrises/sunsets. I'm an early riser so I especially enjoyed going out on the porch in the mornings and having my coffee, my quiet time and devotions. A good time was had by all, one we will remember for a long time.

Great views and ocean breezes. Needs a outdoor table and more side tables. The porch is huge, it would have been great to sit out there for a meal or two. Only one little side table in living room...nowhere to set things. The house was minimal, and a bit outdated, but it was clean and spacious. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would consider this house again. Owner is friendly and quick to respond. Plenty of parking for large vehicles or trailers. Gate on back porch, and good railing, was a plus for my 3 yo. It would have been great to have a hose on the beach access, instead of a just a spicket. Only cons were my own nit picky things, nothing major!

We spent the majority of our time on the balcony... wonderful views of the waves. Also liked the area underneath the house because we were able to hang our 5 Eno hammocks up in shady spots over the sand and not all under the carport over concrete. Bathrooms are a little small, but with an outdoor shower, who really cares?

The house was exactly what we were looking for on the beach and had plenty of rooms with several beds. Found all the beds and sleeping arrangements to be very comfortable. The house was clean, with a functioning kitchen. Lori was always very nice to work with and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again in the future.

We enjoyed the home and the beach. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this home again, due to the group that rented the house next door. The neighbors commented that it was the second year that they rented the house next door during spring break (which is when we go on vacation each year). There was one adult "chaperone" with a large group of high school seniors who drank all day and played music loudly.

Great home. Well stocked. Close to fun activities but far enough removed to simply enjoy the breeze!
