We have stayed at the Hilton Bentley Hotel in previous years. The hotel seems overpriced but, for us, a staid married couple in our 70’s, it’s all about the location. It’s pretty much the only beachfront hotel south of Fifth St. (Sofi) where the scene is much more civilized than Ocean St. north of Fifth. So this lovely privately-owned suite on the 8th floor of the same facility was perfect for our two-week stay. By renting privately and sacrificing just a few of the hotel’s services and amenities, we were able to save quite a bit. The hotel staff, though not beholden to us, were very pleasant and professional. The wifi really is a bit sketchy, so if you want to stream movies or work uninterrupted, Hilton offers a $14 p.d. wifi upgrade. And although we were disappointed that this unit lacks a balcony and the windows are screwed shut, we were able to find fresh air and tranquility on the 4th floor spa area where there are chaises and usually very few people. But this is not to minimize the fact that this suite has a wonderful view of the beach. Sitting by the window sipping our morning coffee while watching surfers and the joggers on the beach walk is beyond pleasant. Since we were staying for 14 nights, I was concerned about how we would have fresh towels etc. No worries—There is a self service laundry on the second floor available for all guests’ convenience. On the 4th floor we had the use of a perfectly adequate gym. And as for this unit, rented from a private individual owner, we were pleased and impressed to find that it was in pristine condition. The suite must have been very recently repainted and the elegant furniture all looks brand new. (Hopefully it won’t soon be scuffed up by careless families with rambunctious children, the likes of which we curmudgeons noticed daily at the pool 😉). The minimal kitchen area and the very basic utensils suited our lifestyle just fine. There is a full size fridge, a basic coffee maker, an ice cream scoop and a corkscrew. That’s all we needed…..(Although I did have to buy a sharp knife). Joe’s Stone Crab TakeAway is right around the corner so it’s easy to order-in and then eat at the dining table while watching the cruise ships depart. Santorini downstairs is a very good restaurant located around the pool area. All in all, I will give this vacation/rental experience a 5-star review!

Good spot for Miami Beach. Great space, clean w/ hotel amenities. Only downside for some is the Nikki beach restaurant next door. Expect house music early to late. Didnt bother me much as I was exhausted every night but if you are noise sensitive when sleeping be aware weekends might be noisy. (But that's anywhere in Miami Beach)

On the quieter side of South Beach with great access to the beach

The property was amazing we loved it so much, I think we found our destination spot for south Florida! Thanks to our Host, you were very easy to work with and answered all my questions. But for those of you that like balcony, this one doesn’t have one. However, the floor was completely quite, we still had a big open view to the ocean! The staff and bell hoppers were outstanding with accommodating valet parking! Carrying our luggage ect. We really felt loved there! To top it off we got engaged! So our entire stay is remarkable!

Furniture and property lobby are not the same as the photos. You will be treated second class because you are not a hotel guest. Check-in was complicated. The bed was comfortable. The AC was cold but makes a loud bang every time it comes on. Great location. Overall it's decent. But it's rough and ready. You'll see if you rent it.

This was our first experience with renting a property via VRBO. Loved that we could get into a property we liked for a fraction of the cost that the hotel would charge for a similar unit. This 1BR unit was a great size for our family of 3. Having the kitchen was nice, as it allowed us to eat breakfast and lunch at "home" rather than going out. I'm guessing they can't put a real oven in the kitchen, so that was the only thing we missed (had pizza that we would have liked to warm up that way). Location was perfect at the south end of Miami Beach, away from a lot of the noisy/rowdy crowds, and within walking distance of many restaurants and other attractions. View from the windows was great--we could see the beach and the pier at South Point. Got to watch the ships go in and out, and caught part of the airshow (Memorial weekend) from our room. Apartment was furnished better than the online pictures indicated. Our son slept on the couch; we just put some sheets on the couch itself and never pulled out the hideaway bed. Will definitely look to go back in the future. Great value and perfect location.

The photos (other than the photo of the view) are stock photos from the hotel, and not an accurate representation of the furnishings in the unit. It is clear that the unit is not maintained regularly/well. No comforter provided for the bed, just sheets and a light fleece blanket. the air conditioning makes awful buzzing sounds. TV in bedroom didn't work, TV in living room was hard to navigate between 4 different remotes provided (one for turning on, one for volume, one for changing channels, not sure what the rest were for). Instructions given for wifi and check in weren't accurate. Location and the hotel in general are great, but would not recommend this specific unit. Most issues could be avoided with attention to detail/ simple organization.

Our stay was great!! We had a little hiccup at check-in but Kamran was quick to respond to our problem and it was taken care of fairly quickly. The location is great. Within walking distance from everything. We would definitely consider this property next time we go to Miami Beach

This was a wonderful property! A clean place and we had everything we needed. So easy to walk to the beach and to dinner every night, and the exercise path went on for miles and miles. The hotel staff could not have been better. So friendly and helpful and present..always cleaning. The owner of our property was so attentive and helpful anytime we had a question. We would love to stay again!

This location is awesome!! The beach is so close and easy. Nikki Beach is literally steps away. We walked every night to a different fabulous restaurant. The actual condo is smaller than what we were expecting but absolutely great for two people!!

Location is amazing! Takes about 2 minutes to be laying in your beach chair. Beach is awesome. Chairs and umbrellas are expensive to rent, but necessary! The room was very clean and modern. There was limited towels. No wash cloths or kitchen towels. TP was also scarce for 3 females! Bed and pillows were comfy. Kitchen is small, but works for preparing small meals. It was perfect for us because we wanted to keep stuff simple. Would recommend this place. The location is perfect! Lots of restaurants to walk to. Ice cream shop just steps away as well!

Middle of all night life, or a perfect spot to walk around the beach with the family and hit up all the things South Pointe has to offer.

This is my third time in 12 years staying here. The room is lovely with a great view of South Point pier - so fun to see the gigantic cruise ships pulling out in the channel by the pier from our living room window! Location is everything in Miami - and this vrbo is on one of the most beautiful beaches in Miami and in a wonderful neighborhood (SoFi). Lots of great restaurants within walking distance - you absolutely don’t need a car here. The entertainment area of Ocean Blvd is just a few blocks aways, and you can walk for miles (literally) on the newly-paved ocean-side boardwalk. The bathroom here is as beautiful as it looks in the photos, the bed is comfortable, the staff is gracious and friendly. Our only small complaint: the AC works great but the AC fan is really loud. Maybe needs to be serviced? Finally, Kamran, the manager, is helpful and responsive. We needed a new coffeemaker during our stay, and Kamran delivered one within hours.

My husband, 12 year old son and I stayed here for a relaxing week at the beach. The location is perfect, so many shops and restaurants near by. There isn't much for kids or teens, but I knew that in advance. The hotel is lovely, very clean and all the staff super polite and friendly. The restaurant is great, but not a huge menu. The pool isn't big, but it was never crazy busy so there were always places to lounge. The beach access is just steps away and the pier is just a short walk. As for the condo. Kamran was wonderful! Easy to work with and prompt to respond to my texts. He tried very hard to help solve our issues. First being the Smart TV in the bedroom didn't work. That never did get replaced by Hilton during our stay. Second, neither coffee pot worked. However Kamran dropped a new one off next day. He was wonderful! A few things to know. I didn't realize the hotel would not allow us to use their beach towels, so should have packed some. I also didn't realize that when it stated towels, linens, toilet paper etc. was provided, that it was only an initial amount. 1 towel per person, 2 rolls of TP, etc. Due to Covid duvets/comforters are no longer provided so there were only 2 thin blankets; 1 for the King bed and 1 for the pull out. The kitchen is small, but has the essentials. (except no dish towels). The only real negative is the couch and bed were not very comfortable. The picture online showed a couch different than the one in our room. Fitted the theme well, but not comfortable at all. Overall it was a great week. I've never rented a VRBO in a hotel before, so although I knew we wouldn't get house keeping I definitely should have done my research on what was and wasn't included.
