This was an amazing getaway from home. We both really enjoyed hiking and seeing all of the beautiful sights.

Absolutely loved it here! You get poor cell service. But the have wifi.they have cows you can feed and pet.The get away from the big city! I liked the rustic/ cowboy theme. The stars in the dark night sky was just a added bonus.

The cabin was very clean and quiet. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. There was just enough activity of people to not feel isolated, but still quiet enough to relax and enjoy nature.

A very peaceful country setting. Relaxing accommodations. Nature all around you, but still very close to local attractions. Highly recommend this getaway.

Had a great, comfortable stay. My husband developed allergies, so we aren't sure if there was maybe animal dander in the room or simply unexpected seasonal allergies. The room was stocked with more kitchenwares, including a toaster, than listed in the description, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Ghost Canyon. The room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the views outside on the patio, using the fire pit, grill and Blackstone griddle, and our kids loved the animals and the yard games. We spent most of our daytimes exploring the Black Hills area, so coming back after a long day to cook our own meals and relax by the fire was perfect! We definitely want to plan another trip!

We stayed at Ghost Canyon and had a blast! It was our second anniversary trip and we took our four month old little girl with! The place is beautiful and very peaceful! They have cows and horses that you can pet , and you see deer every day! We also got to use a black stone griddle to cook breakfast every morning! If you are looking for a place with great hosts and family friendly this is the place! Definitely recommend! They also have a basketball hoop there as well!

Ghost Canyon Getaway is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was readily available for cooking on the black stone griddle or the grill. The property is beautiful and everyone is very friendly. I would highly recommend staying there! If I could give it more stars, I would.

Ghost Canyon Getaway was one of the greatest places I’ve ever stayed. The hosts were phenomenal, incredibly kind and warm. They offered me Easter dinner and company and ensured I had everything I needed for my long weekend away. The location was gorgeous and I am looking forward to going back as soon as I can. Our first impression, after seeing 5.5 miles on a dirt rode, we thought horror movie for sure! Lol. The further we traveled down that rode, the more excited we were about the beauty that was waiting for us in the morning. I won’t go into details about beds, amenities, etc.. it was all perfect! Even better, the turkeys lining up to go up and roost for the night. Watching the deer come in and graze with the cattle and the horses. Even though the wind was blowing hard, the stars were brilliant, and the canyon was quiet. This was my first visit to the Black Hills, I have fallen in love and will be back for sure! I'm sure it would have been a wonderful stay but we had an accident on the way that made our vehicle unable to make the trip. We had to cancel at the last minute. I called Matt on the road and he was very gracious and understanding. We truly hope to be able to reschedule next fall or summer. Thanks to Matt for being so understanading. We truly appreciated it and were very sorry to not be able to enjoy your hospitality!

Beautiful out of the way place to stay. Amazing views and wildlife right outside the door and back porch! The cabin was extremely clean and hosts were very friendly.

Matt the host was courteous, helpful with every question or need we had. The location was very relaxing and clean. All exceeded our expectations.

Everything was amazing! We spent our evenings hanging out in our cabin and enjoyed relaxing there. We were able to cook meals and stream shows on my laptop and just enjoy each evening!

The cabin was located in quiet valley, close to the Black Hills State Forest.

Beautiful country setting! Matt and Jennifer greeted us as soon as we pulled up. The space (#2) was clean and welcoming. The view was perfect and relaxing to enjoy our morning coffee. My teenage kids even were impressed and enjoyed our stay. These Michiganders would definitely stay again.

The horseback riding next door was cool. The owners were really great. The place was clean and absolutely beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and worked out great. All of it was great. A stove would have been nice. The place was a little bit smallish. Over all really nice!!
