We have stayed here before with a larger party for our wedding. We loved the house then and we loved it now for a small post holiday birthday trip. Expansive grounds and well secured property with lovely pool and lots of room for all. Huge kitchen with a lot of prep space for our fresh caught fish and, although the appliances are a little old, they all worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

This house was phenomenal! We were a big group ranging in ages from 20 to 76. The house had entertainment for all. We utilized all of the house, we ate breakfast by the pool, played on the pool table till night fall, it was amazing.

Perfect for a large family. Multiple bedroom rooms and a large area to the whole family to hang out. The large pool was clean and inviting. The washer/dryer made it easy to keep clean without having to pack a ton of clothes.

Vista Linda is a great home in a very quiet location. It has great views of what I believe is Sun Bay and Mosquito Bay. Its about equal travel to Esperanza and Isabell. The property is well managed and maintained. Very Gracious Host. The house and grounds are lovely and have plenty of activities. I would definitely bring my family back. Book a stay, you'll love it. Although the property was beautiful we were mislead . I was under the impression we had the entire property rented but we were denied access to the pool house . Under amenities a jetted tub was listed but it had been removed before our stay . The bed in master was off the frame and I had to sleep lopsided several days until it was corrected by house manager . Lots of mice and bugs also .

We were a group of four couples, including a couple young adult children from different countries, who are friends since high school. The Villa Vista Linda was the perfect place for us to gather. It is beautiful and very spacious. Great for gathering together to eat, and sit and talk and laugh. The rooms are well appointed. The common areas are so large that it’s easy to gather and not disturb those who want to go to bed early.
We never turned on the television, because there was so much to do at the Villa and on the island. Both Isabel Segunda, and Esperanza have great restaurants. There are multiple amazing beaches. The bio bay is the brightest in the world.
The view from the house was fantastic. We enjoyed swimming in a very large pool. We cooked both upstairs and downstairs depending on whether we were having breakfast or grilling for lunch.
Communication with the house manager, Karen, was easy, and her responses always very prompt. She was great about meeting the initial parties to arrive and getting them to the house and oriented around things.
We couldn’t ask for anything more.
The house was even better than we thought it would be based on numerous great reviews. Really huge!

Our stay at vista Linda was amazing. The open-air feel of the property is perfect, the views are amazing, the pool is great. The house has all the basic necessities (kitchen pots & pans, beach towels, chairs, etc.). The property manager, Karen, is so kind and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Property review
The property is beautiful. Great house very clean. The only problem with this property is that you definitely need a car. It’s very far from everything. We were not aware of that and thought we could call taxi but all numbers we called were either no answer or they just hung up and we didn’t speak Spanish. We had no way of getting groceries. I wish an agent would let us know how crucial it is to have your own car prior to arrival.

Amazing location, house, and communication
LOVED staying here! I have been visiting Vieques since I was a kid, my grandpa grew up on the island and my family and I loved this location. It was very easy to get to and from town and esperanza. It also was surrounded by gated 5 acers which allowed for a beautiful view when on the property overlooking Sun Bay from a distance. The house itself was huge and beautiful, it had the perfect touch of traditional Puerto Rican indoor/outdoor feel and modern AC/appliances. Both Megan and the property manager Karen were amazing to work with and meet, so responsive and nice. Thank you for a great stay!! Can't wait to come back.

Fantastic Property

Our family stayed here during our wedding. The place has huge entertainment areas and many different options for hanging out. The many rooms that are spread out make it very easy for groups but still gives people independence/personal space due to the sheer size of the place. Karen, the house manager, was very easy to work with. Great views of the island too!

Great big vacation house on an amazing little island
My wife and I, along with four other couples, spent seven nights at Vista Linda. The check in process was a breeze. Karen was our liaison and very easy to work with. The house is huge and there’s plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is massive and there are tons of dishes, cutlery, utensils, etc.
Our favorite aspect of the house was the great big pool. We spent lots of time there every day.
The house is two minutes from Tin Box, our favorite restaurant in the island. It’s a five minute drive to Esperanza and maybe 10 minutes to Isabella. This was our third trip to Vieques and we had always stayed near the beach. We didn’t mind being inland at all. The view from Vista Linda is beautiful and the beach is a short drive away. The awesome pool more than makes up for not being beach front.
Each bedroom has an air conditioner which is nice for sleeping comfortably.
Our only complaint would be that the house wasn’t super clean. It is a really large house to clean and the majority of the bottom level is open to the outside. The cleanliness didn’t negatively impact our stay. We would rent this house again.

Had a great stay from beginning to end. Karen welcomed us to the island and answered all our questions. The house is large with plenty of space to gather as a group or find a quiet place to read and enjoy the views of the island. Would choose Vista Linda again for our next trip to Vieques.

Amazing Place! You won't want to leave!
Vista Linda is a beautiful estate. We occupied the main house as well as the Casita.My family, all adult siblings, really enjoyed our time here and all wanted to contribute to the review. Collectively would all come back again, felt the house/casita exceeded our expectations, Karen was amazing, views were stunning. Not a single one of us would have changed a thing! Paradise!

The pool table, wifi, pool, the separate bar area; all fantastic for such a wide age range of people. Amazing beaches, driving trails, walking trails. We rented 2 jeeps that were well worth it! You can do as much or as little as you want on the island. The nightlife is island style, which we all loved.
The Mom/Dad 40's
The kitchen(s) are well equipped, you will find everything you need here and more. To give us a break we had the most amazing chef cook our evening meals through half of our stay, thank you Chef Beverly! The house and casita are spacious and wonderful, the beds were all comfy, the room with 2 beds are full size double beds which was a huge bonus for our 20' somethings sharing the space. The gardens are beautiful, it was fun to check out what was in season. This is such a great place to host a big family or group of friends.

1) Stay at Vista Linda - you will not be disappointed - Destination Wedding??? YES AND YES!! Sweeping staircase would be a wonderful bridal entrance and the grounds for the ceremony, Chef Beverly would make so many delicious items, the pool area for the reception!! The pool area has a great sound system you can plug your own musing into.. The possibilities are endless!
2) Spend time lounging by the pool and hanging out in the wonderful home!
3) Rent Jeeps from Maritza's - So worth it for exploring the island.
4) Bio Bay tour with a small tour group - We used BlackBeard highly recommend!
5) Have Chef Beverly cook one of her amazing dishes for you!
6) Exploring the island it's charming, not commercialized, the food is great, the people are wonderful.

Very spacious and comfortable!
This was my first time on the island of Vieques so I didn’t know what to expect especially post Hurriane damage but Karen and the house exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 9 family members with 6 being older teenagers so the pool and pool table was a complete hit with them. There were some issues with things not working but Karen was honest about the things that needed to be fixed and we adjusted because everything else was so wonderful. The house is so spacious that everyone had their privacy and when we wanted to gather to have game night, we had plenty of room downstairs by the pool to play Musical Chairs, Simon Says and the Thinking Game. We had to use our imagination for game night. Karen met us at the rental car place to show us back to the house. She is the best!! She answered so quickly and gave us the answers about the house and island. I have rented many times and had great house managers but she was by far the best! We will be back for sure!

Amazing post Hurricane Maria experience!!!
We had a group of 8 stay here and I cannot recommend it enough. Vieques, post Hurricane Maria, is a different world from what we are used to (but amazing all the same). Every single person in our group could not stop talking about the preparation that went into making our stay an A+. We booked before the power returned to the property and had a backup plan for power. But luckily the power returned 5 weeks before our stay. The view is amazing. The house was clean, bright, open, and uplifting. The kitchen is perfectly stocked for 12-14 people. The breeze through the living space will make not want to go to the beach. The open floor plan, balcony, and downstairs entertaining area are perfect for inviting a new friend or 3 back from the beach (the pool and tiki bar made them not want to go back to their hotel). We were expecting a much more rustic experience and our experience was perfect. We will be back very soon with our whole family. The bungalo/casita, which is separate from the main house, is also perfect for a quieter experience. We cannot wait to return!
