Buen servicio, eran muy preocupados de la comodidad del pasajero. desayuno muy contundente y bueno, entorno bien cuidado y lo mas hermoso era la vista, frente al tahai. la cercania al mar y al museo fue agradable para pasar un buen rato.

I booked a hotel ! With all hotel conveniences and services . But we were the only clients and the hotel was completely empty of any personal !!! We were alone , compeletley alone during five days ! Except Cathy who came every morning to deliver the breakfast in our room , the hotel was EMPTY !! No service , nobody to help when we had a problem of hot water. Nobody to talk, nothing ordinary of an hotel that costs 700 dollars for four nights !! It is a shame . Even of Cathy was very nice and gave us au WhatsApp , it is completely anormal to let clients think they come in a hotel and let them Completley abandoned . And if you want to fill to it bottle of water you have to pay ! For such a price I recommend to go on other place in hanga roa.

We loved our stay at Takarua Lodge! The staff was so friendly, breakfast was amazing, and the location can't be beat! It's a little bit outside the main drag, but we preferred that. Super close to the museum and Tahai is in your backyard. A short 10 min walk across Tahai and into the heart of town.

Excellent location, right next to Moai, a great site to watch the sunset, friendly and very helpful staff, free shuttle service from/to airport, 15 minutes walk to the center of the town.

The signal strength for the mobile phone throughout the city and surrounding areas on the island needs some major upgrade, it is between 3G and 4G. The connectivity is not reliable, even for the credit card service, it would need to take multiple tries to get the transaction through.

This place was perfect for me. It was in an ideal location, I loved the breakfasts, the room was very clean and the staff were LOVELY. s Seriously, Katty and 'Tatty' were delightful. Such lovely people. I miss the place and the staff.

The breakfast each morning was fantastic. The location was tremendous. It had one of the best views for a sunset and quite an easy and scenic walk into town. The staff was very helpful with any and all questions. Scheduling tours and rides to/from the airport were seamless.

There is not much to dislike about this place. Only once did the shower take an extra long time to produce hot water (ran water for 10 minutes, waited 20 minutes and it worked), but over 5 days, I would consider that a very small complaint.

It is just about 50m from Ahu Tahai. That’s the reason I chose this. The price is good. They provide a free transfer to and from the airport. On arrival we were given a warm welcome. The room was big and clean. There was air conditioning, a tv, a safe and a fridge. There was also a kettle with coffee and tea. The bathroom was of a good size with the toilet in a separate booth, the sink area in the middle and the shower stall on the other side. The beds were comfortable and lighting was good with the option of going out sliding doors to lounge. The staff were super helpful and tried their best to help us with everything. Breakfast was superb and serve to your room. But we had ours outside near the reception as the wifi can only be received there.

Wifi only at the reception but then it’s good enough considering the island does not have very great reception.

I liked being across the street from the sunset viewpoint. I liked walking into town along the costal path. I liked being across the street from a good restaurant. It was quiet and the staff were fantastic.

The view is stunning- each roomooks out over the moai and ocean and you have a private terrace where you can eat breakfast. The staff went above and beyond to help us. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean and comfortable rooms! Amazing restaurant next door and I was able to easily walk into the main town. The staff helped me booked tours and helped me figure out how to do everything I wanted to do on the island. They also provide airport transportation, daily room cleaning, and bring you breakfast every morning!

Wifi recently came to the island 5 months ago, so it's not available in the rooms yet, but they still have a place where you can use it! They were honestly great about everything.

The lodge is located in Tahai area - with great sunset view, and Moais viewed from your room's terrace.You actually step out of the lodge , and immediately you are on the lawn of Tahai. They serve a nice breakfast ( not hot ), served to your room/terrace - which is very nice. Staff is very helpful and the lady at the reception is very friendly, and accommodating and helping you figure out the tours and other reservations. They offer laundry service - which we found useful. The rooms are airconditioned - which is critical in the summer ! comfortable bed, large shower. The room includes a small fridge.

Wifi - is available only in the public are near the reception ( needless to say, this area is not airconditioned :-( . I would also suggest to add a desk or a small table to the furniture in the room. The location is great, but if you need to walk back to the lodge during night time - the road is dark,

The hotel is small and located perfectly for our tastes — a bit out of town, but within easy walking distance, and near both restaurants and sights. It is situated just at the northern end of the Tahai site, which includes three ahus (ceremonial platforms) with a number of moai (statues). But being just outside of town, it was quite quiet and peaceful. The room itself was quite spacious, as was the separate bathroom, and the shower was terrific. The hotel served an ample breakfast that included coffee/tea, fruit juice, fresh fruit, warm bread with butter and jam, cereal and yogurt, and either cheeses and meat or scrambled eggs. Breakfast is served in your room, or on your private deck (depending on your room). We had a deck so were able to enjoy a view of the moai (statue) that is incredibly close to the hotel.

WiFi is available only in the lobby area of the hotel, requiring us to pop out of our room periodically to check on email, etc. On the positive side, that meant we spent less time glued to our devices!

No public transport in the island.

The hotel is in the best place in the island. The sunsets are amazing and next to the hotel you have the best restaurant in the island. if that is not enough, the hotel is just next to Ahu Tahai with some of the most impressive moai. The staff is super helpful and breakfast is delicious.

Besides the great location, with Moai in view and a nearby beach, the place itself is great, with very comfortable rooms, excellent service and very friendly staff who will go the extra mile to make your stay unforgetable. Wifi was strong in the common areas - Given the remoteness of the island, that’s already good enough. They also offered a free shuttle from/to the airport.

Probably the best location IMO. 10-15 minutes walk to downtown. Right next to the sunset restaurant which is great. Only one of the two places where you can access the Moai without a guide at the moment (Tahai). Sunset is absolutely amazing.

1. The location of the lodge is fantastic. Just beside the coast way and moai just on the coast. 2. A very friendly staff who help you everything upon request. 3. There is airport transfer. A good and pleasant stay. Definitely will come back again.

I loved this place!!!! The food every morning was excellent!!!! The room was air conditioned which you need so badly in the afternoon. The beds were comfortable. It was literally right next door to the best restaurant on the island. You could see the statues, the ocean, and the sunset from your back porch. It was wonderful!!!! The staff was first rate. They didn’t speak a whole lot of English but they tried so hard and were so sweet. If you are looking for a great place to stay on Rapa Nui, you absolutely can not beat this one!!!!

The only thing I wasn’t fond of was that the WiFi had to be used in the common area and not your room.

you can’t beat the location with a top Moai in your front garden. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
