Unser ruhiges Anwesen befindet sich im Herzen von Roan Mountain, TN, zwischen den Appalachen. Dieses Haus mit vier Schlafzimmern und einem Badezimmer bietet eine großartige Gelegenheit für Familien und Freunde, um die wunderschöne Landschaft von East TN zu erkunden. Wir sind auch nur fünf Minuten von unserem lokalen Roan Mountain State Park entfernt. ein großartiger Ort für Familien zum Erkunden, Wandern und Nutzen von Einrichtungen wie dem örtlichen Schwimmbad und Wanderwegen!

Für diejenigen, die im Winter reisen, sind wir 25 Minuten vom Strand und dem Zuckerberg entfernt. In unserem Haus können Skifahrer und Snowboards untergebracht werden, die in die Gegend kommen, um die Pisten abzureißen.
Diejenigen, die für das Frühjahrs- und Herbst-Bristol-Rennen in die Gegend kommen, checken uns aus. Wir sind 40 Minuten von der Strecke entfernt. Unser Haus bietet einen ruhigen Ort, um vom Rennverkehr fern zu bleiben.
Dieses Haus verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Patio Grill, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Kabel / WiFi für Gäste. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss ist mit einem Queensize-Bett ausgestattet, während die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss jeweils ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett haben. In diesem Haus können sieben Gäste bequem schlafen.

The home and property was stunning! Someone’s home place that’s been preserved in time. The decor in each room was perfect. The property had a creek running behind the house that we could hear while relaxing on the back porch. Several beautiful apple and pear trees. The whole place was so relaxing! The property owner was very friendly and accommodating!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The children looked out the many windows constantly to see what new little animals and birds they could see. The porches were wonderful for sitting and watching the fireflies at night. Each day we were visited at least once by a deer who enjoyed the stream and the apples growing on the tree. We also saw a variety of birds and a few bunny rabbits. The area we were in was also very conducive to relaxation with the beautiful mountain to explore as well as other nearby areas such as swimming holes, other state parks and, the kids favorite, the backyard dinosaur park about 30 minutes or so. All in all, the house was perfectly located and had enough room that you could sit in your own peaceful area!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and homey with lots of seating arrangements to sit and talk. The location was central to the State Park and other points of interest.

Overall the place was very homey but the listing states there was a Queen bedroom and there were only full beds. Also lists a second half bathroom which we didn’t find. Some of the chairs wet were in poor shape as was several other things in the house.

Our family of 6 stayed at the property for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. This is an historic home, so you have to trade some conveniences for quaint charm. We liked the location, homeyness and beauty of the home/grounds.

We very much enjoyed staying in this beautiful and charming old home. Very clean and it had everything we needed. We hiked a lot and wished we would have had more time to enjoy the back porch and creek! Nate was a great host too!

Perfect getaway for our family trip to Bristol Motor Speedway. I only wish we would have booked an extra day to enjoy the property more! The kids fully enjoyed the large backyard and the babbling creek! We definitely plan to return!

A Trip Back to Grandma’s House
This place is just so relaxing and has everything you need. I loved both porch views and my husband fished in the roaring Heaton Creek that runs behind the house. On the back porch you hear it and see the birds feeding at the feeders. Nathanael was a super host and in contact. Great rental.

Roan Mountain Getaway
Only thing I would say that's is a game changer for this property would be all the old antiques ! Very nerve wrecking with young children! But other than that no complaints at all we absolutely loved it. ☺️

A Quiet Place in the Country
This was our 1st Vrbo. The host, Nate, communicated to us very thoroughly. There were instructions at the place with clear expectations. This was our first extended stay in eastern TN and it was nice to be in such close proximity to the mountains. The only comment I would suggest for improvement would be instructions for the HVAC system. That said, Nate was readily available to respond to any questions.

Wonderful getaway!
What a blessing it was to stay in this cozy retreat! We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! Four ladies and we each had our own comfortable bedroom! This stay was a true blessing from God. Everything is provided. Bring your clothes and toothbrush and enjoy the mountain air!

Home away from home
Loved the visit .its like your went to visit someone and they just let you stay and they left..its quite and peaceful and country is beautiful .if you want away for all the hussel and tourists this is a good place to enjoy that .plenty room for families. We had 6 adults and a 3 yr old and plenty room..if we are back in the area its a good place to stay..thanks to Nate for the experience. ROLL TIDE !

Nice place
We were here for a very short period of time, but it was a beautiful house. My only small complaint was that the beds were all too small for my husband and I to comfortably sleep. There's also no cell reception, so if that is important to you, its something to note. There's wi-fi, and that was sufficient for us.

Grandma's House
Our family enjoyed this home the short time we were there. Plenty of room for the family to rest, a creek in the back for the smaller children to enjoy. Early in the mornings we noticed deer right in the back yard. We would definitely stay here again if traveling in the area.

Family Fun Pit Stop
We were all headed as a family to join the rest of our family in Gatlinburg area for a reunion. We came to the area a day early to unwind and lessen the length of trip from home to the reunion. We found this gem of a house and it worked perfectly for our little crew. Adorable home, nostalgic, quiet, and just what we all needed to relax from a busy work week before the craziness of reunion began lol … Homeowner Nate was great in communicating to us and we will keep his house in mind if / when we make it back to TN someday ! Great place!

Love it!!!
This house was amazing for my family! It was me my 5 kids ages 3-23 and 2 granddaughters 3 and 7 months. It was a perfect fit for all of us. The property was absolutely beautiful and spent the whole time playing with the kids outside. Inside was just as amazing. It had everything and anything you could of asked for. We will definitely stay again for a family weekend. Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful home for the great memories.

Quick getaway
My family booked this home for a quick getaway, it was the perfect set up for extended family with the room configuration. We had spent the day snow tubing at Hawksnest and it was not a bad ride to the house, about 40 minutes and very easy to find. The house was clean and stocked well. The grounds are manicured and we took some great pictures by the old barn. The neighbor struck up a conversation with us as we were taking pictures and was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this home to rent.

Hidden Gem
The property was even more beautiful than expected. The owner went the extra mile to decorate the space beautifully for the holidays. The surrounding area is everything imagined and more. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to escape and enjoy beautiful wooded scenery. The home is delightful and idyllic. We would most definitely stay again.

Winter Roan Hike
Nate’s place was perfect for our trip. We were visiting Roan Mountain for a one day hike to Roan High Knob and then the other direction out to Grassy Ridge. Nate’s place was in excellent proximity to Carver’s Gap, and was nicely decorated for Christmas! The check in process was easy, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The Farm house was very charming, bringing back childhood memories of my grandparent’s farm house!

A gem in Roan Mt!
Great and cozy little farmhouse in great shape. Heaton Creek is lovely for kids, fairly shallow and not a very strong current, water was not frigid even in late November! Excellent family stay in a quaint and cozy old farmhouse.

Peace and quiet!
Our experience at this beautiful home in a beautiful secluded town was second to none. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, mid 70s and 30s with no bugs was one of the highlights of this beautiful town. The home belongs to descendants of Daniel Boone and it has be well kept over the last 100 years. A beautiful place to stay for the peace and quiet.

Lovely home away from home

serene and relaxing
An incredibly quaint house in a gorgeous setting. The best part was sitting on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and reading our Bible to the sound of the birds singing God's praise and seeing His creation declaring His glory. We happened to be there right after the hay was cut in the adjacent field and the wonderful smell of fresh cut hay added to the experience.
