We enjoyed our stay in Deer Valley. The location of this townhouse was wonderful. The house was clean and the ski in ski out feature was a real plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Deer Crest townhome. It was convenient to the Jordanelle gondola (ski out the backdoor), Park City and deer valley lodges. The rooms were spacious and clean and our large group could gather in the family room and kitchen without feeling crowded. We all agreed we would come back to stay again. Our favorite parts were the sunrises from the balcony, skiing down to the gondola, stopping in for lunch together and the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. The owners communicated quickly before and after our trip and were a pleasure to work with. This is a true ski on/ski off gem at Deer Valley!

Loved staying here. Plenty of room. Great ski in/out. Host was awesome.

Safety item: Dryer vent full of lint (not tray inside), could cause fire. Heat adjustment (thermostats) was difficult. Off premise staffing was responsive and very friendly TV's ( 5) throughout condo required reprogramming with Direct TV over the phone. Unexpectedly there was food left by previous tenants that was a welcome surprise. None of these suggestions are 'deal breakers' as we would still recommend this property.

It was a wonderful house and everything was great. I would certainly recommend it. And the price fit the location. So these tips are to fill in the blanks for the next traveler. LOCATION & ACCESS * great ski in/out access, but far enough removed that you will spend considerable time if you plan to "stop in" to warm up or have lunch. Best to eat/warm up in a lodge. * ski out is only served by the gondola, which is awesome, but also the first lift to close when the wind blows. We were lucky to have suburbans to shuttle our group to snowpark base lodge, but would have otherwise been stuck figuring out what to do. No resort shuttle from gondola to other lodge. Evidently, Deer Crest (the community) has a shuttle available? Not sure how convenient or quick or if its is real? Just be prepared. * deer crest trail map (to house) needs an update. We took an extra right turn near the end, not on map, which caused us to remove skis and cross a street. Our neighbors did that too. Not a big deal though. * Finally, and the biggest last minute scare for us, was the availability of the deer crest ski trail system. There is no place to learn if the trails are open. We noticed on the rental photos/video that there appears to be snowmaking on the trail system which led us to assume that they would be open. (particularly by late January). We inquired 3 days before departing and were informed they were not open yet. Wow. That sucked. Luckily, they got 15" the day before we arrived. Everything was open. And the ski patrol told us that they had been open "for weeks". Who was right? Dont know. But very concerning when the entire point of staying here was for the ski-in ski-out. Be very aware. * our beginners (kids) were able to ski all the way, with only a couple of scary spots. HOUSE Great House, as advertised, but the photos and descriptions weren't clear on the following things: *the table seats 10, photo shows 6. Its tight, but accommodates. Plus 4 seats at kitchen bar top. * the one bedroom downstairs has a detached bathroom that enters through the ski hallway. Inconvenient, but functional. * the twins into king was very comfortable. In fact all bedding is real comfortable. * photos show haphazard TV wiring through, so it came as no surprise that some of the electronics didn't work. We weren't there to watch TV, and had our own apple TV for the kids. * WIFI: its there, but painfully slow. We tried a reboot to no avail, so used our own hotspots.

Outstanding property. Just as billed! Location was perfect. Ski in/ski out is the only way to go! The owners could not have been more welcoming with a meat/veggie platter, cookie platter and a few adult beverages waiting for us upon arrival. Easy access to the airport and only 15 minutes to groceries. We will definitely rent here again and definitely with this amazing management team. Thank you for making this a special vacation for our family!

our two families have traveled together annually for years. Its been hard to find a home large enough for us to have our own space yet cozy enough for games nights and dinner together. This home is nicely decorated, comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. The managrment team was organized and easy to work with. We highly recommend.

We had an incredible trip and stay. The house and amenities were amazing. Everyone was very happy and loved the hot tub. Beautiful views, sunrise/sunset from the hot tub and balcony. We had lots of room, all the cooking utensils we needed, very appreciative of the minor items (dishwasher pods, detergent, shampoo/conditioner, lots of towels etc). We liked the location and once we understood the gate access system it was easy and a quick drive to deer valley (you go through 3 total gates). Make sure you discuss the gate cards beforehand - we got a little lost on day one. The gate attendant told us we were at the wrong gate and had us turn around but turns out it was the correct one. House manager was on call 24/7 and super helpful - even stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at the house. With little snow, we could not ski directly down the path but rather had to walk down a short hill before heading to the gondola (not a huge deal - took about 3 min). The instructions on how to ski back into the house via the private deer crest trails is located in the welcome book in the house - make sure you review/take a picture on day 1 of skiing :) Also some of the trails are a bit narrow and more difficult (blues) with icy patches in December so just a little warning if everyone isn’t an advanced skier. We would definitely book this house again and will highly recommend it to our family and friends!

The property is very well located with an awesome view and you can ski in and out. We had 10 adults and used all five bedrooms and baths which were great. Had a couple of issues at the outset but the property management team was very responsive and issues were addressed immediately. The great room, kitchen and eating area provide an excellent space to hang out, cook and eat while interacting about the days activities. Also has a real nice hot tub with the same wonderful view.

Two families who live to show together enjoyed this condo right off the Jordanelle Gondola! The home was warm and inviting with a nice open floor plan on the main level, allowing our kids to all hang together while we enjoyed meals and drinks. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. Could use a fresh set of cooking and serving utensils and cleaning. The bedroom were all cozy and comfortable and the bathrooms were all clean. The linens and towels could also be refreshed but again were all clean. The hot tub and grill worked well. All in all, I would highly recommend this condo for yohr next family ski vacation.

The home was perfect for us. We had all of the accommodations we needed and the ski in ski out access to the Jordanelle Express Gondola was awesome. I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful home to spend a few days in.

The home was excellent. 4 good sized rooms and a small 5th room. All on 4 floors. Ski-in ski-out!! The trail is 5 steps from the back door. It takes you down to the Jordannelle Gondola. The trail is narrow and steep - definitely not for rookie skiers. The way back to the home is a bit complicated. We got it on the third day. Stick to the right and you’ll be ok. Using the gate pass to get to Park City is a huge plus - it cuts the trip by more than half. We had two families - 11 people. And we fit comfortably. We highly recommend this house and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Our group stayed in a Russel Mace home in Montana twice before. We knew from that experience that this would be a quality home with all the amenities. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Their attention to detail is always" spot on". The only negative was that it was a little more difficult to ski into the home than we anticipated. We watched the video and read the directions and still got lost the first day. It didn't help that there was not a lot of snow this year (not their fault)! We are a group that goes on a ski trip every winter and will always look for a Russel Mace home where ever we go!

This house had every single thing a person would want and need in a vacation! The house was very spacious (even more so than the pictures show) and cozy! The views are amazing from every window in the house. The kitchen has every single thing you would need to prepare great meals. The den is set up so many people can relax by the fire and a large collection of movies is available to watch. The Apple TV option is in every room also! I couldn't ask for a better set up. Those who wanted to ski could ski right out of the bottom floor of the home and come back to a nice relaxing hot tub. I would recommend this vacation home for anyone looking!

My husband and I gave this Deer Valley ski vacation as the Christmas present for our family of 10 which included ages 8 - 66. The snow was plentiful, the beds comfortable, and we kept the crock pot busy with hearty soups and stews. It was wonderful to be able to ski home for lunch with the younger girls. Would love to return with the family or couple friends.

Wow. This place is amazing. Adjacent to the high-end Park City, UT area, Deer Valley is the place to be. The luxury home is located in the most exclusive community in the area, but still very close to Park City with easy access in-and-out of the private gates. We had two large families in this perfect home that had everything extra you can imagine for kids and adults alike. TV's in each room, free movies, barbecue, wonderful "Great Room" to gather, and of course the Hot Tub was used often at all times of the day and evening. Not only is outside recreation right outside your door, you will also find high-end shopping nearby, grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Park City, and the Utah Olympic Park bring amazing activities at all time of the year. I highly recommend this home and owner. This "Palace-on-the-Hill" is loaded. The owner has thought of everything and made certain we had a wonderful experience. This trip created family memories that will never be forgotten. We look forward to planning our next trip to this opulent home in one of the greatest locations in the country. Thank you.

We had a successful summer week stay. The owner was quick to respond by text, phone or email with suggestions and answers to any questions. We can heartily recommend this property. The location is perfect for families, but works nicely for couples or groups of adults, as well. The property is super clean, roomy, and well-appointed. The area itself is lovely, is easy locate and easy to actually get to. It's far enough away from town that it feels secluded, yet close enough that a run for supplies or to the restaurant in a 10 minutes or less. We had a great time!! Thanks

As a person that skis at least 25 days a year I could not have been happier at this beautiful home for our annual out-of-town ski vacation. We had such a great time with our friends gathered at this luxury vacation home it was hard to return to reality. As we all know families that play together often stay together. The views from the spectacular home, the great location of the Jacuzzi and the incredible ski in ski out access are truly amazing. We look forward to returning to this beautiful vacation home and to enjoy incredible skiing at Deer Valley.

We had a fun week skiing and staying at the house. Easy ski in and ski out. A couple of days we skied home for lunch and then back on the slopes to finish up the afternoon. The house was very comfortable with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Easy access to town for shopping and exploring. Love the views! We will be coming back next year!

We are a group of skiing enthusiasts who spent a week enjoying this beautiful and well-appointed home. You have thought of everything - it is clean, comfortable and large enough for the 10 of us to enjoy some privacy. We loved the flexibility it provided with the ski-in/ski-out option that allowed some of us to head in early for après ski and the die-hards more time on the slopes! It's conveniently located and enjoys some spectacular views. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend it other large groups/families looking for that perfect get away!

Once we figured out the ski in part of the ski in / ski out aspect, all was well. It's a little trickier than advertised and it would have helped if they made directions available. But the home and the expansive views were awesome. I love the fact that the home had so many levels which gave each family privacy. The home is comfortable and well stocked. We had an issue with the fireplace and someone came over immediately. Very responsive to our needs.

We truly enjoyed what we considered an almost private mountain. The ski in ski out access was truly awesome. We were able to enjoy the spectacular views and well appointed home during our week stay. The snow conditions where is as enjoyable the beverages we consumed. This home is absolutely a great place to stay. The This home is highly recommended for your a vacation rental.
