We took our family and Grandchildren to this cabin and everyone had a great time! It was very spacious, awesome view. It has everything you can think of for entertainment and cooking. There were a few glitches and things we couldn't use but we made it work. No air conditioning but the house stayed cool and rooms had fans in them.

Took our adult kids and their kids for 5 days. We made many happy memories, and we highly recommend Leisure Lodge. Home was perfect for us and the lake was too.

Beautiful setting, house, spacious, fabulous view over all fantastic

The cabin was spacious and a great place to stay for a large group. The view was gorgeous overlooking a decently sized lake. We visited for a long weekend and had a great time. My only feedback is that the ad describes a mancave as "weather permitting" but that equates to being unable to use it at any time during the weather, so plan accordingly. Christine was nice about getting us a cleaning refund for keeping the place clean.

The place was beautifully decorated for the holiday. There was plenty of rooms and beds for our large group. Plenty of things and activities in the house to keep everyone busy and entertained. Will definitely rent again. :)

The house and amenities were nice. Our family of 12 had lots of space to enjoy. Pay attention to the other reviews before making your booking so that you're fully away of what you are getting into. Because of reading those prior to our stay (wishing I would have taken more time with them before booking), we took "before" photos with an app which time stamped the photos. The host accused us of damage which we did not do. When sending her the photo of the area in which she made the accusation, her reply was "I could make that photo in two minutes. Sorry, it's not going to work." Although there were MANY good things about the home, there were also many areas which were in need of repair - yet if not every one of them is reported to her upon arrival, she may accuse you of them in order to keep her cleaning deposit &/or make an insurance claim. I do not trust nor respect this host and will not be booking with her again.

Our family really enjoy our time here. The place is well stock with towels and things you need to cook in the kitchen. The lake is also beautiful. There are some things that are broken/can't be use but it doesn't bother us and our overall experience is fantastic!

We really enjoyed this cabin! Plenty of space for our family, which includes 7 adult children and their families! Loved the large open concept living space. We were able to all be together while cooking, playing pool, or enjoying the beautiful views from the screened-in porch. Small beach area was perfect for the little ones, with lots of toys and floaties provided. The views from the hottub at sunset were amazing. The only thing that detracted from our experience was a few things throughout the house that were broken/needing maintenance, which we were able to overlook due to our overall amazing experience. Hopefully will be staying here again!

Great property to stay on! It’s a large space with room to spread out if you have a large group. Lots of activities for everyone and the kitchen is very well stocked. You can easily book and never leave! Like some other reviews, needs a little love and fixing up, but we don’t expect perfection and we would gladly book this place again! Christine was helpful and responsive to questions, which is much appreciated :). Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your space.

There were a few hiccups during the stay but Christine was easy to reach and things were resolved. Overall it was a good stay

Most doors didn’t lock and basement smelt of smoke. We were approved by the owner for the cleaning refund and now we are unable to reach her and haven’t received our money for the refund. The views were beautiful so that part was great.

My friends and I booked this property for the weekend and had an excellent time! Plenty of beds, amenities (the theater room was a big hit), and an excellent view of the lake. Christine communicated effectively for all questions/requests. Now we just need to figure out how soon we can book another weekend here! Thanks for being a great host, Christine! Justin

The property could be perfect but needs many repairs. Not enough hot water. Broken furniture, not clean, freezer didnt freeze, broken cupboard door, drinking water not hooked up, no public access to launch our boat, no instruction or information for the renters, remote controls had no batteries.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The other reviews are pretty much spot on. Is it perfect? No, but what property is? Bottom line is our family loved all the things we could do here and enjoyed being together. The lake was lower than usual which made boating challenging but the water quality cannot be beat. We will stay again!

This property was very beautiful. Wish we would’ve came during warmer weather. Although there were certain things in the house that needs fixing. But overall it was a wonderful experience and I recommend staying there for a getaway trip. :)

Great property on an amazing piece of lakeshore! House was huge for families/kids. Just 4 men on a golf trip to Fortune Bay worked out perfectly. Exactly as advertised for our needs. The hot tub overlooking the lake was great, can’t beat the stars on a clear night. Big kitchen with everything you need. Thanks Christine!

We were up for a golf trip and this property was perfect! It was large enough to accommodate our larger group and nobody felt cramped in this house. All of the necessary cooking utensils, etc. were there and ready for use for our larger group also. We would definitely stay at this property again next year on our annual trip.

Loved it! Needs updates here and there. But otherwise it was good.

Great location! Right on water, easy to access the clean sandy clear water lake. House is huge and has lots of space. It's been well used and shows it's age and usage. But if you can get past that and want a large space, with great water and outdoor fun, it's a good fit. Kitchen is well stocked and great for gathering around. Christine was quick and responsive whenever we reached out. We had to wait the first evening for hot water to reheat, but after that we had hot water for the remaining week. The hot tub was nice to use and we really enjoyed the view while in hot tub. Fire pit is right next to lake, super cool. It's a little on an incline and would have been nice if that was pavers rather then rocks that made it a little unstable to walk around. We used the Sauna and Theater room as well. The front patio is nice and we enjoyed basketball and the large front driveway to play outdoor games. Unfortunately the fishing was not good, we did not have any luck :( I'm waiting for our deposit back, but I'm hopeful we'll get that soon.

Excellent gorgeous property - even better in person!! Really an unbelievable house. There are 5 bedrooms in the house and a man cave with bunk beds, so 6 couples could easily enjoy a stay here. Most rooms have 3-4 sleeping spaces so a kid or two can be accommodated as well. My partner and I had a very small wedding here and it was absolutely perfect for us. Even when It rained, we were able to have almost everyone inside since it's such a large space. We had talked to the host on booking about the firewood and pontoon mentioned in the listing, and it ended up being something we worked out the week before our stay. (I would have liked to have it nailed down earlier to check off my list, but it worked out.) I thought she would arrange the pontoon, since she lists it, but we had to personally call the resort nearby to arrange it & go there to pick it up. The host did have a load of wood dropped off for us the day we got there, and was on-site to make sure everything was perfect. I will also mention that communication leading up to our stay was a challenge. At times I had to ask a question multiple times to get a response, sometimes even then I didn't get information on something I'd asked and I let it go. Once we were a few days before booking, I could tell we were the hosts priority and the level of communication changed dramatically. As I said, it all worked out, but I felt unnecessarily stressed about certain details until the last minute. As for the property, we found everything to be what we wanted. The host explained the indoor jacuzzi tub is turned off to save on hot water, and you still have the hot tub on the deck right outside. There were a few quirks like light switches that didn't work, and the fridges in the bar area don't work. For us, everything in the kitchen worked great, we made sure to ask for additional propane for the grill (which she provided), and there was a cold water dispenser (like culligan) that we definitely used. My advice is this: if you are really interested in particular features of the property, reach out in advance to be sure, and to give the host time to fix anything needed. I feel that if you have any specific needs or issues, Christine would be more than happy to help accommodate you - just ask!
