Love that this cottage is so close to the pool area ! We get together ever night to grill and gather with friends. Very nice patio and just a short walk to the beach!

Eagle's Landing is a wonderful place! Plenty of room for our family. Mainsail community was great, the ease of access was amazing!

Nice place but could use umbrella on patio and don’t leave anything overnight on patio……items were stolen from us. Two of the bedrooms were (1 on each floor) pretty small and no immediate access to the bathrooms. Building location was great, right across the sidewalk to the pool, grills and shelter!

We enjoyed our time with family and friends. Met some very nice people in the enjoining units. Recommend looking into for vacation.

Been staying at Mainsail for a few years. First time in this cottage - was great for our family.

We enjoyed our week in cottage 34. We have been coming to Destin for vacation for 37 years now. This was our first time at Mainsail resort area. Short walk to the beach and it was nice area to grill and go to the pool.

House was well stocked (particularly the kitchen and beach items) with more than enough pots, pans, sand toys, etc. to accommodate our extended family of 7. Beach was about a quarter mile from the home and an easy walk. The community pool was heated in early April and very convenient to the house. Could even access the house wifi from the pool chairs! Grills at the pool were gas and very convenient to the home. Home was well maintained and showed minimal wear and tear from frequent renters. We would enjoy returning!

A week in paradise! This cottage had everything we needed and MORE!! Located right next to the heated pool with grills, it offered us the ability to relax AND prepare our vacation meals without having to worry about what may have been forgotten. Tastefully (and festive) decorated with enough space to easily accommodate large families or groups of friends but cozy enough to feel like home for our small family. Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy some beach time while feeling like you never left home!

I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I have high expectations. Unit is in great shape, clean, and very spacious. Owner was very easy to reach and helpful. Sooooo much nicer than staying in a condo, private, huge back patio and nice new furniture. 12 extra beach towels and several other extras. The walk to beach was my #1 concern, but it was EASY. From door to beach maybe 2 minutes, you can see and hear it from the driveway. Felt very safe in the gated community. Heated pool was in the backyard, great grassy areas and walking paths.

Pool outside great patio was awesome! Easy walk to beach. Pool water was very warm. Enjoyed the house but the upstairs is hot. The small “bedroom” is more like a closet, no window, sloped ceiling. 8 people max. Chairs at the beach was great; wish more than two.

There were 10 of us, 3 couples & 4 children aged 6 and under the week of July 25 - August 1st. This was our 3rd time staying in Miramar Beach area and we love it there. The beaches are very clean, soft white sand, beautiful blue green surf. Not over crowded on beach, 6 ft. distance easy to maintain & 2 beach chairs with umbrella was great to have included in cost of rental. And loads of beach toys in storage box in carport. Great patio with lots of seating and tables...wonderful to sit out in the evening and gaze at the stars & planets with a drink after kids in bed. The pool directly behind the house was awesome, 1 minute or less walk. Shady area to prevent sunburn with lounges and tables/chairs. We often had lunch there. The pool/children's pool near the beach was usually crowded and we only went a couple times on way to the beach. We preferred the one close to the house. Smaller, never crowded. The best thing is the walk to the beach, was maybe 5-6 minutes, and that's with a 6 year old, 2 4 year olds and a 20 month old in an umbrella stroller. We wished we had a wagon, with big wheels to carry beach items and the youngest child. The unit was clean, great kitchen, lots of cooking utensils, pots/pans and dishes to make anything you could desire. Plenty of seating for eating. Very comfortable living area on 1st floor. We worried about 2 baths for 10 of us, we usually rent a place with 3 baths, but this was never a problem for us. My husband and I had queen room on first floor and shared hall bath with our 2 grandsons ( 6 & 4 years old) in single beds on 1st floor. Daughter brought a mesh bed rail that slipped between mattress & box springs to keep 4 year old from falling out of bed, worked like a charm. My oldest daughter and her husband took the queen room on 2nd floor with slanted ceiling. The picture is accurate, the room really is not any larger than seen. This would probably be more suited for a couple children/teens sharing a bed. Also, this room was very stuffy/warm. No AC vents? They used a small fan to keep it cooled. My youngest daughter had the king suite on the 2nd floor, since it was larger and she had an 20 month old in the room in a pack and play, and her 4 year old in same room in pull out bed. It was wonderful to have the pull out bed. She brought her own pack and play anyway. There was also a baby gate, but broken; we managed to rig it up at bottom of stairs and it did the trick to keep the toddlers down.

Very clean and nice property. Convenient location. Short walk to beach. Owner quick to respond to any emails etc and very helpful. We had 5 adults and 5 teens and plenty of room for all. enjoyed our one week stay and would rent again.

This is an excellent place to stay. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of room. The community pool was right out our back door and the beach was a very short walk.

2 adults and 3 older teens 👍�Overall Excellent Stay and Facilities🐬� Easy checkin, clean home. Plenty of dishes. Good linens. Comfortable furniture. Direct access to small apartment- style pool. TVs with Netflix, Roku, Hulu. Great space for 5 people. Plan to bring your own supply of TP, paper towels, trash bags, foil/saran wrap, ziplocs, and laundry soap. Kitchen was well stocked. Outdoor furniture was nice, except the wicker chair on the upstairs balcony. 2 chairs and umbrella at the beach included was our daily destination, and amazing! Beach toys are in the container in the carport. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The tennis courts were hot to cross through, and not used, that we saw... Prime space that could be made into a newer modern pool, beach shop or snack shack..... Plan a 5-7 minute walk from the beach to the restrooms, which are between the pool and tennis courts. Also, the pools' gates lock, so an early morning trip to the beach required some detouring. Suggestions: black out curtains in the master bedroom, the light is intrusive starting at 5:30am. Also, upstairs stays rather warm with the min temp setting of 70 on the Nest thermostat on the first floor. The fans helped, but sleeping was hard at times. The small double bed bedroom is cute, but it does not have a window, and access to the bathroom is through the master bedroom, unless you go downstairs. Suggestion: small nightstand lamp, as the only light in the small upstairs bedroom is the overhead. Unrelated to the excellent cottage, there is extensive road construction going on right now and it dreadfully affects getting in, out, and around the Mainsail resort. We would definitely stay again.

The house was ready as promised and was very clean. Check in was super easy and we had no problems at all. It was very comfortable and fit our group of 4 small families just perfectly. We had 4 children under the age of 11 staying with us so the pool right outside the back yard was perfect after a long day at the beach. It was heated and a bit too warm to enjoy during the day but it was wonderful in the evenings. The large pool is only a short walk and was very refreshing. The little ones really enjoyed the baby pool with the waterfall. The patio and grassy area out back were perfect for the little ones to play outside without bothering any neighbors. Both pools have BBQ grills and nice areas to sit and enjoy a cookout. It was a nice, easy walk to the beach, but we were very happy that we brought a wagon to carry all our gear. It was great to have two chairs and an umbrella ready every day. We brought a pop-up canopy and set it up every morning which gave us extra shade for our group. We will definitely be coming back to the area and will definitely try to book this rental again.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean, and we loved the festive beach decor! Convenient to shopping, ocean and right across from the heated pool! Owners are very easy to communicate with and address issues right away. This was a great family friendly place to stay! Thank you!
