Eine Inspiration für Autoren, ist die Energie bei 247 Sonnenwende in Sea Ranch ruhigen und dennoch - und ist damit die perfekte romantische weg oder Schriftsteller Rückzug aus der Welt. Mit dem Ozean im Sinn gestaltet, ist das Haus auf einmal elegant und komfortabel. Drei Schlafzimmer (eines für Kinder mit zwei Etagenbetten für 4 gesetzt) und ein Queen-Zimmer und ein California King, dieses 2500 Quadratmeter große Haus ist ideal für 1-2 Paare und vier Kinder. Mit Stühlen und Sitzecken, um wieder in in jeder Ecke fallen, ist das Haus der ideale Atempause, um ein Buch zu packen und verschwinden in ihm ist Seiten. Eine perfekte Umgebung, um alle Annehmlichkeiten der Küsten leben zu genießen von seiner besten Seite, einen kurzen Spaziergang von einer Sauna und einem beheizten Pool und Tennisplätze. Der private Sea Ranch Fußweg liegt direkt an der Terrasse, und erstreckt sich über etwa 13 Meilen nach oben und unten eine der schönsten Felswand Küsten der Welt. Begehbarer am Strand ist nur 10 Minuten Wanderung, aber es gibt keine Notwendigkeit, weiter zu gehen als der vordere Raum für vollen Genuss der einen spektakulären Blick zu sehen, die Wale vorbeiziehen von der Couch.

Kristin’s place was amazing. Extremely clean and steps from the Pacific Ocean. We also enjoyed the amenities of sea ranch (going to the pool everyday, private parking). I would highly recommend this property for families. You can have a relaxing day at the beach or pool, or go for a hike and see wildlife. Carole was a great host

The picture presentation doesn’t do justice. It looks much better in real life. It is right on the ocean just a few steps from the porch and you will find yourself on a pathway that goes along the cliff with stunning views.
Sea Ranch itself is a beautiful community very quiet and tranquil.
House was nicely decorated and we had plenty of room to accommodate 4of us.
Kitchen was extremely well stocked. We did cook and knifes were very sharp:)
Driving from San Francisco and along the coast might be a bit of challenge if you are not familiar with it but we really enjoyed it.
The view from the porch and sounds of waves were magnificent. We did have really great time!

wonderful location a few steps from the bluff trail, great deck with fabulous ocean views. very comfortable, well appointed home -- lots of great spots to curl up with a book, including window nooks with sweeping ocean and coastal views -- and well-stocked kitchen. The location of this welcoming home has direct access to the Coastal Trail and stunning views of the ocean.
The property is ideally situated: views, easy access to recreational facilities, a golf course and the coastal path.
The interior is pristine, open, welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, relaxing hours reading, and appreciating the area's peacefulness and natural beauty.

My husband and I have been going up to Sea Ranch annually for the past four years and this was our first time staying right on the coast and at the Carlson house. We brought up our family to spend the new year's weekend there and they were delighted.
The view is unprecedented - waves crash on the rocks just in front of the property and the window nook has a beautiful view down the jagged coastline. The house is well designed and in good condition. The cream carpet was a little daunting and we kept shoes off as instructed, which we also do in our own home, but is definitely necessary given the rain and that it is often a little wet up there when we go during the winter.
There are ample games to play, a fully stocked kitchen, a fireplace, a wonderful large couch and daybed in the living room for plenty of seating - all things that make for a cozy stay.
Definitely recommend this property and we are very grateful that the owner opened it up for others to enjoy.

My husband and I were over-the-top pleased with our stay at Kristine's home! The location of her home within Sea Ranch was perfect; it provided the most breathtaking views of the ocean and shoreline and ready access to the walking trails. What a fantastic way to awaken each day! The home exudes a sense of calm and centeredness - a real soulfulness - that supported and encouraged our goal to reset and recharge. My husband and I spent hours reading many of the authors' books available to us in the home, which further helped us achieve our goal of rest and realignment to what's most important in our lives.
The house offered all the amenities we needed to feel entirely at home. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the living area was welcoming and warm. Carole, the property manager, was superb - proactively ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay seamless -- Thank you for everything -- we will be back just as soon as we can!!

This is a really great house to book. It's right on the walking trail, you've got the view of the ocean, and the house itself is wonderful. It's very clean, the kitchen is amazingly well stocked with every gadget and utensil you'll need for any stay (my two favorites were the coffee grinder and the knife sharpener - no dull knives! But there was just about anything you could think of). The beds are comfy, the living room is cozy, and there's a ton of space.
Truly one of the nicest, stand-out aspects of the experience was Carole, who managed the entire process. She was so pleasant, and gave us all the information we needed to have a great stay. On top of that, she was available via text if we needed her.
Very much recommend this rental!

Location worked well for us for some kick-back quiet days at the edge of Pacific Ocean. Enjoyed stepping off the deck to walking paths along oceans bluffs, Listening to surf at night, along with quiet solitude.
No worry for us on carpet cleanliness. Used side entrance off front porch where we kept cleaned "house slippers", changing in/out of these on entry/exit. Turned out to be no trouble. Probably something we should do at each rental anyway.
Bottom line: this is a great property to stay, in a great area of Cal. We are planning next stay in 2024.

We really enjoyed our stay here especially the deck and the ocean views. Sea Ranch is a very special place. Don’t miss the seal beach and long walks on the bluff trail. Also Trinks, Anabel’s clothing consignment and Salvarae in Gualala and dinner at the Sea Ranch Lodge.

We've rented probably 20 properties over 40 years of coming to Sea Ranch this one was either the best or one of the best in terms of location (right at the ocean trail with white water views and a short walk to the Del Mar Rec Center) and overall comfort. The house had everything (sometimes it required a determined search) for making meals and enjoying the area. The owner's agent was totally available before we came up and we never needed to contact her once we were in the house because everything was there as promised. The double bunk bed room is not ideal for adults but as long as you know in advance it was completely comfortable. Great place/great value for Sea Ranch. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had an amazing time at this beautiful home in Sea Ranch. The views are truly breathtaking and the home is so welcoming and comfortable (beds and large sectional in family room were great). You couldn’t ask for a better view than from the gorgeous deck:) I also appreciate that the host had many spices available, and the home was well supplied with household essentials. But most special was the way we felt in the home, very peaceful and spiritual. Thank you for opening your home to us!!

This is our third stay at this house; we keep coming back because it's a beautiful home right on the water and filled with the things you need for a good trip. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the home is clean (smells clean and looks clean!). Every time we visit there are small improvements to see: a new rug here, a new grill outside. Just a great home!

We needed to get away and relax. This is the perfect location. The house is better in person than the photos. The ocean views are gorgeous! The master bed is super comfy! This was our first visit to Sea Ranch and will definitely go back!

From the moment we walked into Carlson Beach House we knew we were in for an exceptional experience at Sea Ranch. The house is located close to a bluff and walking path with multiple views of the woods and ocean.
The property is extremely well equipped with kitchen appliances, dishes, glasses, etc. and the beds and bedrooms could not be more comfortable.
Towering ceilings in the main living area give a grandness to the house while multiple decks offer opportunities to sit and soak up the beautiful surroundings in a quiet and serene environment, often only accompanied by birds and small critters.
This is a perfect spot for a luxurious and peaceful getaway. Five stars!

Was a very comfortable, clean house with breathtaking views. We loved being right on the bluff trail and close to the pool. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked - you wouldn’t need to bring much at all from home to cook. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

This was our second trip to this lovely home. We spent our days walking the bluff trails, riding bikes and sitting on the patio watching the crashing waves. We can't wait to return!

We have stayed at other water front homes in Sea Ranch but this has the best spacious deck of all of them.

The location was amazing & the house was great. We had a few glitches but the property manager was on it to get them addressed. Loved that Walk On Beach was so close which has become our favorite beach at Sea Ranch. We had a delightful, much needed get away & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Fabulous ocean front location. We watched the whales play from the living room and kitchen. Fully stocked kitchen, best we’ve seen in a vacation rental. Superb furnishings, upscale but very comfortable. Loved this place.

What a magical place to rest and rejuvenate.
The view from this well appointed home is spectacular. The living room is set up for family or friend reunions with ultimate comfort. The window seat is so comfortably set up to read or contemplate the panoramic view of the coast. The kitchen and dining room also are set up with lots of pots, pans, glasses and spices for a gourmet meal with more ocean views. The primary bedroom is spacious, very comfortable bed and ocean view. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom are downstairs which affords privacy for all.
We would absolutely love to stay here again. The bluff trail is literally right off the deck.
