By far the nicest rental space we have ever stayed in and in the past year we've done Hawaii/West coast/Europe and nothing comes close...you can tell a lot of thought and true caring was involved in the presentation of the space. Amy and Shawn were very responsive to any of our needs...which were few...great location to visit downtown Fayetteville as well as the New River Gorge Attractions....Highly recommended!

The title says it all. I could smell & feel the cleanliness of the bed sheets! Description was exact, the location was perfect and the communication was great! Be very confident when booking this place. We also truly enjoyed the Escape-a-torium just next door! We loved the escape room so much we ended up doing 2 rooms! Had a blast!

Lafayette Flats is an excellent place for a couple to stay. It’s convenient to local tourists sights, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and stocked with high end supplies. We loved the historic old building and easy walks to a couple of unique locally owned breakfasts locations. I would recommend to any couple looking for a relaxing getaway stay. The only negative we found was that dinner locations are limited through the week. Several interesting dinner locations don’t open until Thursday. Everything else was very much to our liking.

Fayetteville likes to claim (for good reason) that it is the coolest small town, and Lafayette Flats has to be the coolest accommodations in Fayetteville. My wife and I agreed that this rental had to be one of the most unique short-term rentals that we every had. The property was immaculately clean, and the unit was well furnished and stocked. But it was the incredible artwork and impeccable taste that the owners displayed that really stood out We would definitely come back if we return to the New River Gorge area.

Everything was great! We stayed just one night. Within walking distance to several coffee shops, bars, boutiques and vintage stores. Everything was as described and pictured. They have everything you need, plenty of linens. We took advantage of the board games! The only thing I could say negative is the bed is definitely for people who like a firm mattress. It is made of memory foam but it was a little too firm to our liking. It would also be nice to have a king size bed in there instead. Everything else was perfect! Thank you so much!

Lafayette Flats is a lovely place to stay when in Fayetteville. The communication from the owners (Amy & Shawn) was amazing. Everything from activities to dining to just simply the local culture was provided. As for the Flats, they are perfect. Very clean and everything a person would need...plus more. Highly recommend to stay at Lafayette Flats when in Fayetteville.

Not sure where to start but if I could rate cleanliness with 10 stars, I would! The bathroom was everything I hoped for, just as pictured, very relaxing vibe and just what you need after an all-day adventure outdoors. Amy and Shawn were very accommodating and I look forward to our next stay!!

Our stay at the Quinnimont Flat at Lafayette Flats in Fayetteville was a treat! We were within walking distance of several restaurants (Cathedral Cafe, Pies and Pints, the Stache for ice cream) and had a nice kitchen to heat up the leftovers. It was a short drive to the New River Gorge Visitor Center, the bridge, and Ace Adventures where we booked our whitewater rafting trip. All kinds of little touches and comfy furniture and bed.

The Lafayette Flats is a great place to stay. This is our 3rd trip to the New River Gorge to spend a weekend hiking and enjoying the small town atmosphere of Fayetteville. We have stayed in the Nuttal, Corten and now the Quinnimont flat. Looking forward to a return trip next year to stay in the Eddy.

It was clear the owners put a lot of thought and care into creating a beautiful space for their guests. Amy checked in with us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Owners provided us with helpful resources before and during our stay including a restaurant guide and places to visit. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to NRG!

Relaxation, Rejuvenation & Inspiration
My wife and I were told that “we need to see and experience this place”. Our friend knew us well because the Flats were even better than we had anticipated. The art that lined the path to our space was like walking through an art exhibit due to the variety of styles and mediums. Once we entered our area we said, “wow” with our first step in. This became a trend as we familiarized ourselves with each space. Every layout, every texture, and every room in this Flat was perfectly laid out-just an amazing example of how to design a place with function and beauty. Sincerely, the Flats is a brilliant space to simply stay in as the destination. 10/10! Thank you!

Gorgeous, peaceful and serene
Where do I begin? This is truly a luxurious flat! We were impressed from the very beginning of the rental process. Amy was so helpful and answered all of our questions, and since this loft is in my hometown, I knew exactly what a gorgeous view of our courthouse we would have during our stay!
Every detail was carefully thought out, from the Fiestaware in the kitchen to the bathroom with two pedestal sinks (we stayed in Quinnimont). The local artists--including my best friend of 30 years--have works beautifully displayed throughout the lofts and hallways. The building is nearly 120 years old, and it is evident how carefully Amy and Shawn preserved the beauty of it during their renovations. That tub is worth the whole price of the stay, lol!
We will most definitely rent this flat again anytime my husband and I can make it for a visit. If you want to visit my beautiful home state of WV for some outdoor adventures, we highly recommend Lafayette Flats.

Excellent Experience in Quinnimont at Lafayette Flats
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Fayetteville and stayed in Quinnimont at Lafayette Flats. This will be my go-to lodging option for future adventures to the New River area! The flat was even better than pictured and located within walking distance of everything in town. We loved all of the WV art featured throughout the property and the hosts provided excellent local recommendations that were so helpful in making the most of our fall weekend. No detail was overlooked! I highly recommend this spot and hope to return in the future!

Always phenomenal!
What can I say about Lafayette Flats that I haven’t already said before? These flats are always phenomenal and immaculate! If you’re looking for one of a kind accommodations in the New River Gorge National Park, absolutely look no further! We stayed with a group of friends for the first time during this visit, and we occupied the entire building with our group. We spent the first night of our stay doing a “wine crawl” throughout the building - enjoying different wines and soaking up the art and beauty of each flat. It was such a fun experience! Consider booking a flat with three of your closest friends and making a fun weekend out of enjoying each flat, hiking, eating and taking in all the New River Gorge has to offer!

Perfect Couple National Park Get Away!
My fiance and I like to cross a National Park off of our list every year and this year decided to go with the newest - New River Gorge! The Lafayette Flats was an experience all in itself! Not only was the flat beautiful, comfortable, close to the park, clean and everything we needed it also is FILLED with the most beautiful art! I was discovering something new at every turn! Amy and Shawn also provided a detailed guide about the art, local food, and recommend hikes! We can't wait to come back!

If you are outdoorsy but still love a little luxury then this place is for you. Clean and comfortable. The soaking tub is necessary after all the hiking the area has to offer.

Wonderful Lafayette Flats
This is amazing! The place is top notch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom towels and amenities were high end. The location is within walking distance to many great restaurants. The owners left a great list of recommendations for eats and things to do around town. The art work, games and books provided were awesome. The location right outside Canyon Rim park entrance to New River Gore NP was perfect. From here you can hike, whitewater raft or kayak, zip line, or walk under the bridge. We highly recommend this place. We will go back.

Shawn & Amy never cease to amaze me with the big and little touches they put into making everyone’s stay at Lafayette Flats a memorable one. My husband and I recently stayed at the Flats for my birthday weekend. This was our second stay…we absolutely fell in love with the place the first time. This visit just deepened that love even more. It was absolutely perfect!! We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing experience and stay!!

Amazing place - exceeded expectations!
We could not have loved this place more! Super cool art, extremely clean, tons of attention to detail, luxury amenities (super comfy bed, great shower and towels, and bathroom amenities, nice kitchen amenities, etc.). Cool place in a cool town
Lafayette Flats offers stylish, comfortable vacation rentals with everything you could need to make your stay relaxing and wonderful. After a day out on (or under) the bridge, hiking to Long Point, viewing the many waterfalls or white water rafting ... you really look forward to chilling out in the flats. Highly recommended.
