Great time

We booked this VRBO for the front end of our heli ski trip. The plan was to spend two nights here and ski Revelstoke before moving to CMH Galena for a 4 day stay at their lodge. We had unfortunate news upon arrival in Kelowna that CMH had cancelled our trip. As a group we scrambled to find alternative plans and I reached out to Andre to see if the house was available for more days that week, which would give us much needed comfort in looking for other ski options. Andre was great and offered us the place as needed while we looked. As it turned out, we stayed there the balance of the week. The location is fantastic for all things Revelstoke. The house was walking distance to food, drink, grocery store, liquor store and shuttle bus to mountain. The house had all of the amenities needed for our stay. I would recommend this VRBO to anybody visiting Revelstoke. Thanks Andre!!

We had a great time at Caribou Lodge. Great pad for guys on a ski trip. Well equipped kitchen and lots of room. Right in town a stone’s throw from The Village Idiot.

Group of friends came to ski/snowboard, which we hit at the right time for epic snow/powder. Andre communicated very well, and had everything ready. Really ensured we had a great stay. The house is large, clean, and a great place to socialize with your friends or family. This is definitely my place to stay going forward! Thank you for a great stay!

My group and I felt at home as soon as we walked in the house. Beds we’re comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, kitchen was more than adequate and three places to hang around to talk

Location is great. House is very comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds were cozy. One of the best we have ever stayed in. Owner very helpful.

We loved our stay here. Our first time in Revelstoke and we loved this great downtown location. Revelstoke has some great resaurants and cafes. Kitchen was fully stocked, beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean. Andre was attentive and very responsive. Amazing experience.

Our group of 6 friends had a terrific time. Big table for group dinners in kitchen/dining area. Short drive to ski hill.

Located a block away from town. Andrei is great and house was very clean. Highly recommended!

Andre's place is the ULTIMATE ski house. He has thought of everything a large or small group would need. There are several mats for wet boots and multiple racks for drying jackets & gloves overnight. Also, the kitchen has every possible glass/pot/tong/scissor you would ever need, a big custom table with benches to eat at and a popcorn machine for movie nights. As well, there are tons of towels and linens for every bed and bathroom in the house. And the beds are HUGE and super comfortable. For dinners or downtown needs, Caribou House is literally the closest house to town - it is right at the corner of the main street. Anyway, I could go on but we had an excellent, excellent time at Andre's, and will be recommending to friends/family and trying to get back as fast as possible. Many thanks, Andre!

We had a great stay at Andre’s place, it easily handled 6 men who were working and skiing. The beds were comfortable and the lounge and eating areas easy accommodated communal meals and and apres. It’s a quick and easy drive to RMR, and all the amenities are within an easy walk. This is a phenomenal property, we will be back to visit again soon.

Our family stayed at Andre's place over New Years. What a perfect set up - tons of room for extended family, tons of personality, well equipped, super comfy beds and perfect location. It's right beside the downtown, so we could ditch the car after skiing/snowboarding and walk to access restaurants and shops. Andre was super responsive and really helpful with any questions we had. We would book this place again for sure.

Great place. Everything you need with the best location in town

This is our second stay at the Caribou House and it proved to be just as enjoyable as the first one. Andre is an excellent host and answers all communication quickly, which is most appreciated. This home is perfect for our families from Edmonton and Victoria to meet and catch up. The house is very well equipped and the beds are very comfy. Looking forward to returning again next Sunmer!

Future visit will be our first priority, Also referred friends to stayed this place for safe , secure, reliable and trust.

Andre was a great host, and keeps a very clean and well-appointed place. The house was built in 1899 and features a number of interesting details. The house is as close to downtown Revelstoke as possible, and is within a couple blocks of a great variety of restaurants, coffee shops and stores. We had a great time, and would definitely rent at Caribou House again.

House is very well set up and situating so you can enjoy the heart of Revy.

We chose Revelstoke as our destination as it was a midway point for our family in Victoria snd Edmonton. The Caribou House was such a fun place to stay!! Very clean, super comfy beds and lots of space to spread out. The house itself is a lovingly maintained heritage home with real character. We played gamesI indoors,, horseshoes outdoors, and even watched tge NHL finals on my laptop on the covered porch. We will be back most definitely! Thank you Andre!

CaribouHouse was a delight! The house is beautiful, and very well-equipped. Andre has done a terrific job of updating a heritage house with modern amenities, without losing the original character. It was pristinely clean, and in these days of COVID, we appreciated the plentiful hand sanitizer. Ample clean towels and linens, very nice beds, and two very nice and updated bathrooms. The big dining room table and well-equipped kitchen was perfect for a couple evenings with good friends. The location in central Revelstoke is great, and was perfect for us. We all left with a delightful new impression of the town we had previously only known from the highway. Highly recommended!

The Caribou House was a hit with our entire group. Plenty of room for 5 adults, each with there own beds. One of our group cancelled but he would have had his own bed had he come. The art in the house is fun. The location right in the middle of down town could not be better. We walked to anything we needed. We will recommend this to friends and will be back!

We had a father/son trip with 3-60 something dads and 4- 25+ sons and had a great time snowboarding REVY. Fresh snow every other day. Lots of trails and glades. No long lift lines after morning rush. The accommodations were as great as the snowboarding. The WHOLE House was clean as a whistle, plenty of heavy duty towels and beds were all large and comfortable. All the towels and bedding smelled like it was fresh washed. Two recently upgraded bathrooms with plenty of hot water, pressure, soap and shampoo. We cooked dinner 4 nights and breakfast 6 mornings. The kitchen utensils were plentiful, useful, and in perfect working order. Nice coffeemaker to grind and brew fresh coffee every morning and afternoon. Andre met us the first day and went over everything we needed to know about the house and local stops in town. He was in constant contact all week. Best host ever!!! House is a block from town but quiet streets after 7pm. Went out to see local REVY Grizzlies championship hockey one night on Andre's recommendation. What a great game only a few blocks away. Mountain is a short ride, about 10 minutes or less from house, or you could take the local bus a block away. We drove every day. Covered garage for a vehicle in drive way with room for 2 more behind it. Also street parking...but not needed. Great restaurants, bars and supermarket and gas stations in town. 2.5 hour drive from Kelowna airport. Can't wait to go back.

Less than a block from the nearest food outlet bar and retail outlets which is fantastic and convenient for a 2 story 3 bedroom house. Andre was an awesome host who regularly kept in contact and was always there to help if needed. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Absolutely gorgeous, well-equiped house located steps from downtown. Off-street parking made weathering the snow dump easy. Owner was very easy to deal with, and flexible given the dynamic weather conditions. Can’t wait to book another stay!

We stayed over the New Years break. Visited Revelstoke for Skiing/Snowboarding. The pictures do not do this place justice. We really enjoyed it. Everything we needed for our family of 5. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back. I preferred the ambiance of staying in town versus the resort. The resort is very nice but its not built out enough to provide enough entertainment beyond the mountain activities. A general note regarding the area: If you get powder and want first tracks do not rely on the Revelstoke resort shuttle. We had originally planned on taking the Revelstoke shuttle from the house to the resort. However, the morning shuttles were either full or did not show up at all. The later mornings and return trips were better. We decided to make the short drive and park at the resort in the days we wanted to get in early runs. Parking was pretty easy and rigjt next to the gondola.

We had a fabulous time. Close to downhill skiing, cross country skiing and running trails. Beautiful home, like staying in an art gallery. Loved it!

Great property however it would be nice to have bigger pots for cooking for large groups as the home does accommodate up to 10 people we had eight and it was difficult to cook dinners. Also the pans need to be updated because they are very old. The pictures of the backyard should also be updated because our kids were really looking forward to the tire swing that wasn’t there. The rest of the property was really great though, and the owners were super friendly and awesome to deal with .
