The location is great for snorkeling right outside the door in front of Beach House restaurant. Morning coffee on the deck was always pleasurable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were grateful for a slightly later check out since our flight didn’t leave till 9:30 pm. The sofa bed wasn’t comfy so both my 2 teen/adult kids opted for the couch/twin air mattress. I think if listed for “4 people,” these sleeping accommodations need improvement. There were only enough blankets for 3 people. Luckily we had brought a small blanket for the plane so could make do. I would have appreciated basic toiletries like shampoo/conditioner, which seems the standard at VRBO/air bnb rentals, and an extra towel or two to get through our stay. Also maybe a drying rack-the rules state that you aren’t to hang things out on the deck but it’s the BEACH!!! Wet towels and bathing suits galore need somewhere to dry! These are just my suggestions. To end on a high note, we were really grateful to use the snorkeling gear, chairs, etc. These things enhanced the trip. Thank you!

This development is a hidden gem in Poipu. Surfing was great and the sunsets were incredible. The unit has everything you need to settle in and enjoy. The host, Tyler, was incredibly helpful and nice - we had a logistical hiccup with dates and he was kind enough to delay some scheduled maintenance at the unit to accomodate us for an additional night. Whew! We'll be back...

This condo was just as great as I was expecting it to be. The view was amazing, I got sunrise to the left and sunset to the right. Absolutely incredible location, close to the beach and shops. Such a modern place with everything you could possibly need. Loved this place and will return to stay here our next visit. Great communication with Tyler also Thank you for a great trip

Excellent location, didn't miss the amenities of a pool, etc. Condo with full kitchen, snorkeling gear, coolers, beach chairs, and walk right out from ground floor lanai to grass and ocean. Safe location. Wonderful views. Will stay again if ever in Kauai!

We absolutely loved our stay at this location! It is one of my favorite spots on Kauai. The condo is stocked with everything you need - including snorkeling gear! We woke up each morning having coffee on the lanai watching the turtles swim. BEST sunset on the island as well. I will look to book this place each time we visit :)

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and it was perfect! The view was incredible. The sunset was right out of the patio on the right. The location was perfect for walking to the stores. There were beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and snorkel gear available. Thank you!

This condo was the perfect location for our Kauai vacation. Nearby restaurants and shops, but also quiet and private. Could not get closer to ocean. View is impeccable. Loved sunset here.

Kuhio Shores is a dream. It is absolute paradise and the perfect place for my husband and I to honeymoon. The condo is adorable, clean, and was well stocked with beach related items. The lanai was our favorite part and where we started and ended each day. We were able to see many turtles and dolphins in the mornings. If you’re looking to snorkel, this is also the perfect place to stay as the best snorkeling spot (in our opinion) on the island is just a short walk away to lawai beach.

Beautiful views and sounds

Great relaxing vacation. Nothing better than sitting on your lanai listing to the sound of the waves and watching surfers. Also could see turtles in the water close to rocky shore. Condo had everything we needed for a weeks stay in paradise!

Beautiful place. Great location. Love the modern decor. Hoping for better kitchen wares like dishes, utensils, pots and pans since we love to cook. But we definitely will come back to this condo. Tyler was awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at Tyler's condo at Kuhio Shores. The beach equipment was great and my son enjoyed the guitar. We spent a lot of time on the patio, both day and night. The A/C was great to have in the bedroom and we moved the tower fan to the bathroom when we took showers for more airflow. My son said that as soon as he walked in, he knew it was going to be a great week. (and it was!)

This property was exactly as advertised. I was looking for somewhere safe and quiet where I could enjoy a much needed vacation. The ocean views were beautiful. I was able to do everything that I wanted to do and relax as well.

This condo has it all…an incredible view with a walkout patio, next door to fabulous dining and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend this property!

Excellent location; quiet and relaxing. The snorkel equipment, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were much appreciated. The Beach House Restaurant next door is very nice, good food.

This ground floor condo is in a great spot, and treated us to a real show out the sliding glass door: beautiful water, an active surf break, and sea turtles galore. Incredibly short walk to Lawai Beach next door to the west with great snorkeling, and several other lovely beaches within minutes on foot or by car. There's shopping and dining nearby within a short walk or car ride as well. Keypad entry made coming and going easy and didn't put us at risk of losing the keys at the beach. The place was clean on arrival, and the expectations for how you leave it are totally reasonable as well. There are some minor fit and finish issues here and there around the unit as one would expect in a lived-in home; to be clear, this didn't bother me in the slightest given the great value for the location and amenities, just something I noticed. We had everything we needed close at hand to cook, and made good use of the chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels. There's not a big grocery store super close, so if you're planning on eating in or packing lunches, consider stopping for groceries on the way from the airport; that said, there's smaller markets nearby for convenience. On that note, there's no pantry per-se, but we just used the top of the fridge and one end of the counter and got by just fine, and we cooked quite a bit. Overall the 5-star ratings are well deserved. Nowhere is going to be all things to all people, but this came pretty close to perfect for the two of us! Thanks!

Loved the closeness to the ocean

This was a beautiful property with everything you need. The hosts were very accommodating and provided us with a full length mirror and champagne glasses that we requested. Location was really good. Our favourite part was the patio with the ocean front view. It was super quiet and relaxing. The only downfall for this property is that there is only AC in the bedroom and not in the main living space. But otherwise, I would definitely stay here again.

The view from this property is absolutely spectacular! We were disappointed in the fact it was not as clean as it should have been and there is mildew on the outdoor furniture which made it unusable. The towels were very thin and the sheets had holes in them.

Enjoyed our stay immensely! Never have stayed that close to the ocean hearing the sounds and enjoying the smell of ocean mist. Late night wine early morning coffee on the back patio 😃. Amazing stay!

Very relaxing setting with friendly neighbors and incredible sunrise and sunsets! Ocean steps away with lots of surf action to watch. Easy access to beaches and shops and restaurants. The Beach House Restaurant next door is a plus with great happy hour. Would definitely recommend!

Our condo was great. Right on the water, around the corner from a great restaurant. Every day surfers hit the waves plus there were spectacular sunsets every evening. Convenient to shopping, beaches and road tripping.

The property is lovely, even better than we had hoped. Everything is beautifully decorated and there are lots of amenities in the unit. It also has a closet full of beach gear that you can borrow (chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, etc). Our favorite part was probably sitting on the lanai watching the surfers every morning and the sunset at night. I would definitely stay here again!
