The cottage had everything we needed and was a good fit for my family of 4. We really loved the location; very close to Campground Beach. My kids loved biking around the neighborhood and it was a short walk to The Landing for ice cream. We appreciated the air conditioning, laundry and dishwasher in the cottage. We had a great stay.

We’ve enjoyed this house for a couple of years, now & just perfect for a family of 4 (with teens). Easy walk to bayside beach & the Landing, easy drive to Ocean beaches, drive-in, or short bike to bike path - definitely recommend it!

Ideal cottage and garden located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood with lots of flowers, trees and birds. Short distance walk to the local beach and centrally located to explore Cape Cod National Park beaches and other nice places to see. We were very excited to swim everyday and to have the chance to observe many seals.

Our location was perfect to visit points of interest all over the Cape. We loved sunsets on the bay, and it’s a short trip over to the ocean to watch a sunrise.
Cottage was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more.
We would recommend this to anyone looking for a stay on Cape Cod.

Loved staying here! The location was great. A couple miles to Coastgaurd Beach, a bakery, grocery store, deli, etc. Everything you could need is super close which was very convenient! The cottage was all redone and tastefully decorated with all the extra amenities you could need. Restaurants were close by and Camground Beach on the bay side was just a walk away, where the sunsets were amazing. Carl was easy to communicate with and made the whole process run smoothly. I would definitely come back to stay here!

Great location to just get away. My wife and I loved it. The place is well organized and very clean. Had no issues with communication with the owner. And it’s in a great location if you want to be far enough from the heavily congested areas but not a chore to drive to stuff also. Would stay again

Thoughtful Hosts
I was so shocked with what was available to us at the house.
Each room had a fan, we almost went and bought one, as no one ever has fans. But when we opened the closets, there was a fan! There were plenty of extra blankets in each closet. The hosts had a collapsible cooler, a cart with beach toys, beach towels, beach chairs galore, and anything you could think of for a day at the beach. The house had games and books and fun stuff for staying in. The house had a washer and dryer, dishwasher, everything! My only complaint would be the lighting in the bedroom. Maybe the bulbs were dying, but it was almost laughable. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved Cape Cod.

Perfect for our Family of four!
Our family had a wonderful week at Carl's cottage. The house is perfect for a family of 4. The kitchen is very well appointed and the furnishings and beach decor are lovely. The best part is the short walk to beach access. We spent each night on the quiet stretch of Bay Beach for sunset. Our girls loved the critter hunting at the beach and the calm waters. There is a small general store within walking distance for ice cream, coffee, and morning muffins (also is a beer/wine store :))Carl was easily accessible via phone or text with questions. Would definitely stay again!

My decision to spend a week on the Cape was very last minute. Karl was very accommodating. The house was neat, comfortable, well equipped and the location--a 7 minute walk to Campground Beach--was terrific. I will go back.

Well Equipped and Thoughtful Hosts
The hosts appeared to have most bases covered. The property is well equipped - especially the kitchen. Instructions/information were posted on the refrigerator.

Autumn Escape
We had a great time in Eastham and the cottage was a perfect place to stay. The house had everything you would need and was decorated beautifully. We walked to the beach each morning with coffee and later each evening for the amazing sunset! Just perfect! Eastham is a great location and being there a bit “off-season”, the traffic was less and easier to get around. Carl was great to deal with and made check in and out so easy. I absolutely loved the house! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you Carl!

Amazing stay!

Well maintained, great location. Extremely well stocked with all the necessities and then some. Walk to bay beach and sunsets with a quick ride to NSS beaches. Cool, quiet, summertime neighborhood. Would definitely rent again.

Dreamy cottage near the beach
We rented this cottage a few years ago and really enjoyed the location. Now the cottage is substantially nicer since it has been renovated. It's truly lovely--clean, inviting, cozy and with all the amenities you need. We absolutely love the back deck area, the outdoor shower--all of it. The owners are nice and responsive as well.

Great cottage update
Sue & I have been here 4 - 5 times. All have been great. The cottage has been completely redone since our last stay. New A/C kitchen cabinets, very comfortable furniture. We will be staying here again.

Wonderful, clean cottage with modern amenities walking distance to the beach.
Overall we loved the property - location was perfect! Easy walking distance to a lovely bay beach and short drive to Orleans and Wellfleet centers. Kitchen is fantastic - we cooked in every night - and the laundry was great with a little one! Our only small complaint was the lack of AC as our stay happened to coincide with a heat wave and afternoon nap times were just too hot for our 2 year old (we ended up using the car instead)! A couple of window units in the bedrooms would have been perfect!

Great little place; wonderful location
This was a great little place for the four of us. Easy short walk to campground beach. The roads around here are quiet enough to take the kids biking without worry. The house has everything needed for a short stay and is very well maintained.

Beautiful House Close to Campground Beach
Our family really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage in Eastham. This two bedroom tastefully decorated home was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, and utensils. The charcoal grill was perfect for nights when it was too hot to cook inside. The location is fantastic since you can walk to Campground Beach. We had a fantastic stay!

Lovely cottage! Would book again!
Gorgeous little cottage! Walking distance to then beach and super close to hole in one donut which is the best! It was so great to have a washer and we could do our laundry before leaving. It was exceptionally clean and fully stocked to feel like a home away from home. Convenient to lots of things to do! 5 minutes to the Wellfleet drive ins and beaches everywhere! Only thing is the family next door had children and we could hear the Kids running around at 4 am... but not the owners fault! The owner Carl was extremely pleasant and very prompt with any questions or concerns!

Great property
In our view Eastham is the best area to stay on the Cape, and Carl and Donna's property is the best place we have stayed on the Cape - and we have stayed in a few! Just a very short walk from the beach, the property is perfect in every way. Beautiful on the inside with a lovely gas stove for when the weather is a little cooler. The garden is also lovely complete with an outdoor shower. The apartment is very well stocked and equipped as well. Wifi and cable TV are excellent. We have just returned from a weeks stay and would not hesitate to rent this apartment again. Thank you Carl and Donna!

Cottage was immaculate and tastefully done. Location was great, walk to Bay with spectacular sunset; quiet and homey neighborhood. We were there in October when things were slow--just the way we like it!

Perfect, as advertised
Carl's place is perfect if you are looking for cape cod authentic and simple, It is a nice clean 2 bedroom 1 bath unit very close to bayside beach on quiet street.
Cottage has everything you need and is a good value. We will stay there again and Carl is very responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend this cottage.
