Die Veranda befindet sich in einem baumbestandenen Park und bietet bequeme Stühle zum Lesen und Besuchen nach einem Tag in der Sonne am Strand. Die Pantryküche mit neuem Backofen und neu eingerichtetem angrenzendem Essbereich für sechs Personen ist der perfekte Ort, um ein paar Ihrer Abendessen am Strand zu genießen. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss bietet eine Schlafcouch mit ausziehbarem Bett für 2 Personen mit neuem Bett, Matratzen und Bettwäsche. In diesem Zimmer befindet sich ein Flachbildfernseher, der nur über DVD-Funktionen verfügt (perfekt für Kinder!). We loved our stay at Fishtales! Just a short walk across the street to a private access beach made is so pleasant and not overrun with other beachgoers. While walking thru the neighborhood streets to the pool it felt very serene. You didn’t hear the busyness of traffic on 30A at all. We are now looking forward to our next trip down to Seaside FL!

We love renting through Sandpiper- they are always personable and provide excellent customer service! The Fish Tales cottage is a cute, quaint cottage just steps from 30A. We enjoyed the private beach access and short walk to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the cruiser bikes but wish this bike rental company offered a basket and/or cup holder like last year.
The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed linens and pillows were comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our needs. The cottage decor was cute and beachy and the view from the back porch was picturesque! We loved the extra “lighthouse” room (as we liked to call it) upstairs. We used it to look at our seashells and it was fun for our little one to go up the cool ladder.
Cons: The entry layout/dining area was a little cramped getting luggage in and out and also entertaining family. The only bathroom is downstairs and the stairs creak which woke my little one up at night. The claw tub was nice but a little hard for our 7 year old to step in and out of. The loveseat wasn’t as comfy as some we’ve stayed in around this area but it was fine for our needs. While the location was nice during the day, it was loud at times at bedtime with car music going up and down 30A. We brought a noise fan which mostly drowned it out.
Despite these small inconveniences, we loved our stay and had a wonderful vacation! We can’t wait to go back!

Three generations of women, 81 year old mom, two daughter and two grand daughters stayed here! The claw footed tub was a bit of a challenge for 81 year old mom but the out door shower took care of that problem! We had an excellent girls get away!

We LOVE the 30A and have stayed in many places here in the past. Seaside is our favorite 30A town and this home is in the perfect spot- close to town center and a 2 minute walk to the beach. However, almost everything in this home needs replaced/ updated: mattresses, washer, paint, countertops, furniture, pillows. It felt dingy and dirty because of this. Management company was great at communicating before/ during stay, but never really addressed these concerns when we reached out. Overall, great stay, but just know this home has a very “lived in” feel.

We loved our stay at Fishtales. The location is perfect when traveling with younger children. Easy walk to the beach and to town. The place is simple and was great for a weekend trip.

We have stayed here before. It is very close to the shops and restaurants and also the beach. We park and walk everywhere. I wish this house had a different shower- it's hard to get in and out of and it doesn't have a lot of shelves for shampoos and soaps.

What a time we had in Seaside. This was our first time in Seaside and my wife already stated this is where we will go from here on out. As far as Fish Tales, it was a cute little cottage located perfectly for the beach and walkable to the center square. In fact, once we parked the car, we didn’t move it.

Roof leaked next to the bed upstairs when raining. Squirrels were living between the inner and outer roof. Although it had a parking space getting in and out of there was a pain. We will return ti Seaside but will not be staying at Fishtales.

This home was cozy, clean, and very cute. We enjoyed the front porch, the loft bedroom, updated bathroom, and extremely quick walk to the Tupelo pavilion and the beach itself.

We loved the area. Great location. Close to shops, food, and the beach. There was some cleaning that was lacking but overall very nice. If your a TV watcher the living room was the only streaming TV and no cable upstairs so suggest bringing an iPad for upstairs.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the property. It was plenty of room for the three of us. The location was perfect for quick access to the beach and the shops in seaside. We will definitely be back!

Great location
This was our first visit to seaside, but hopefully not our last. The location of the house is great, and having a parking space in a driveway was very nice. It took 5 minutes to walk to the center of town, and less than that to get to the beach. We love the tower room, as my daughter called it. It was pretty clean. We did use the washer and dryer. I didn't see any bugs inside. The tub shower was a little awkward, but it had good pressure. We used the pool a couple of times. My daughter enjoyed the sand toys at the house. We would stay here again. We love Seaside!

the only suggestion I would make is nicer softer pillows, and less (squeaky bed down stairs it wakes you up when you move.)
better pans for cooking, four trash bags ,four dishwasher pods
Part of the checkout process is to empty trash and run the dishwasher Well its actually quite ridiculous to expect the guests to go buy a whole thing of trash bags for one bag and same with dish washer pods to make your life easier when we are paying the massive cleaning fee. So for that reason the star rating is less
other than that we will definitely return to this cottage again.

Yoga retreat
The property was lovely but needs a power wash; deep cleaning. The doors and stairway handrails were sticky. Every corner had caked up dirt. Thank God the towels were new and the bed was comfortable. Sorry, I usually don’t complain. The chain was off one of the bikes😢

great location but house needs help!
upon arrival someone was parked in the reserved spot and there was a dead roach found in the middle of the living room. like many properties at the beach there is a layer of sand on all floors this being no exception. the location is great and it has a private beach, the best part about the property. keep in mind the beds are upstairs (minus one small one) and there is one bathroom with a stand-alone tub which can be tricky to get in/out. overall it was ok, arguably 2.5 stars and without the dead roach it would have been closer to 4 stars.

Great place to quarantine!
We arrived just as Covid-19 started shutting the town down. We decided to stay as being stuck in sunny FL was better then our rainy and cold other option. The house was bright and cheery (great when stuck indoors). Even with the town and public beaches shut down we enjoyed social distancing on our private beach. We went on daily bike rides and enjoyed afternoons reading on the back porch. Bring some board games (there are none here, but I’m sure people are typically out and about on a Seaside vacation unless your quarantined). The TV also had Netflix which we enjoyed movie nights every night. We needed to cook all our meals and the kitchen was missing some vital tools. Management was VERY responsive and quick to provide what we needed, including an extra roll of toilet paper which in these times can be hard to find! We enjoyed our last week of freedom here before we sheltered in place back home.

Cozy little spot across the street from the beach.
The property and location was great. Not too close to the central area (only 2 blocks) and not on an actual street. This property is situated in a sort of driveway/nook that accesses 4-5 properties. This particular property has its own parking spot in there, which is a big deal around that area of Seaside. Very nice to know you have a space within 5 feet from your house. You get a real "beach cabin" feel in this home. The beach is private access with a gate code, so it was very quiet. The only thing that was a downer was the cups/plates/utensils situation....a mish-mosh of old plastic stuff that was way overused. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning as something to improve upon. Overall, great spot, great host, great week in Seaside!

Great Location - Cute Cottage
We had a wonderful week in Seaside in Fish Tales cottage. The cottage was clean and newly redecorated, in the best location and so cute. We were just a few steps from the beach and a short walk to town, play ground, restaurants and Modica Market. We especially enjoyed time on the porch in the park full of wonderful trees. So peaceful! Having the bikes was a plus. We highly recommend Fish Tales. Thanks for a great vacation in Fish Tales.

Fun and Funky Cottage
Fish Tales was absolutely perfect for our Family's December getaway. Seaside is so unique and beautiful all year. We go every chance we get and love staying in Fish Tales. You cannot beat the location, so close to the beach and all the fun stuff and Fish Tales is so fun and funky, the perfect beach cottage. Thank you for sharing your cute cottage with us.

Updating Needed
I let a month pass to digest our trip without being to overly critical. Negatives, the place needs updating. Nothing major, $50 Home Depot fan that doesn't squeak and moves air better upstairs, downstairs cushions are well past their prime, downstairs bed a little misrepresented (it's sideways), toilet has a hard time with just TP. A little too much furniture downstairs gives it a cluttered feel. Perhaps a larger tv somewhere (I think they were about 17"). Positives, location to town square is phenomenal. Trek to the beach and pavilion use is awesome, ten minutes or less on foot with wagon! Nestled in a magnolia grove keeps it relatively quiet. Crows nest has a great view for breakfast. If you're just needing a place to rest since most of your time is spent on the go in Seaside, you'll be set.

We had a fantastic weekend at "Fish Tales." The weather was beautiful, the house was perfect and our family left rested and relaxed. The customer service was great, we noticed the attention to detail! We will vacation here again, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Great Vacation
Just got back from this charming cottage in Seaside. We had a blast and loved Fish Tales. It's so comfortable and cute and you can't beat the location, so close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. We cooked lots of great seafood at Fish Tales and watched the Super Bowl. Also ate at all the restaurants. Loved the coffee house and Bud & Alley's upstairs bar. Walked that beautiful beach and rode bikes all over. Hated to leave and can't wait to go back.

Cute but needs updating
We recently stayed in Fish Tales. The location is great. It's very close to 30A, so a very quick walk to the beach which is very important. They leave sand toys and boogie boards which we also liked. The cottage is a good size and the decor is funky and fun. That being said, the cottage needs updating. Tiles are coming out of the bathroom floor, the shower makes a horrible sound when you run the hot water (which is only enough for 1 shower), the door knob to the outside is very loose, and it could use some paint on the inside. The living room furniture also needs some attention. There really isn't a place to sit and watch TV that is comfortable.
We had a nice stay, but just don't expect anything very "fancy". I feel like for the price per week, this unit could really use some updating.

Charming cottage.
Fishtales is adorable. I love this cottage. The location is perfect. We brought our 17 year old son and his friend. They loved having the privacy of the upstairs. We slept great in the comfortable bed. Also the shower was great....lots of pressure. The window seat/couch was good place for my husbands daily naps. I watched a movie several times in the little room with the red futon. We only have a couple more days here and I'm going to miss it. Although I don't usually like staying in the same place I will rent this cottage next year for spring break. It really is perfect for a couple with 2 kids.
