Das Rose Cottage verfügt ��ber eine schöne, helle Küche mit viel Ablagefläche, Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl und einem Doppelwaschbecken. Durch den offenen Grundriss können Sie den geräumigen Essbereich mit einem Tisch betrachten, an dem bequem acht Personen Platz finden. Essen Sie hier oder auf der Veranda mit Meerblick.
Hinter dem Essbereich befindet sich der helle, geräumige Sitzbereich, der von einem Gaskamin verankert wird. Dies ist der perfekte Ort für Familiengespräche oder gem��tliches Filmen. We had a four day stay over Labor Day weekend that felt like it lasted twice as long. The house was comfortable and a perfect gathering place. It was easy to access the beach which was just across the road and centrally located from the Shoals Club and Market.

Despite the intense heat, our stay on BHI was excellent. This island is a great, safe place for families with kids of all ages. Having access to BHI Club is a must. Beach in the morning. Pool& slides in the afternoon!

This was our second time at this house and we were very pleased we picked it again! Oven was broken but management brought in a replacement toaster oven as soon as we let them know. Owner needs to update their beach chairs and beach accessories...management again promptly brought us some good beach chairs. I think the house could be updated a bit but it was okay for a week. Golf carts run and get you where you need to go but they are not pretty to look at! It is hard to get them in the garage b/c it isn't a 2 golf cart garage. We had a great time. It was clean and the kitchen had good pans and dishes. Washer and dryer and dishwasher ran well. Wendy Wilmont is johnny-on-the-spot with what you need and made sure it was clean and we had what we needed. Thank you for everything! I hope we can come back again!

Would not rent Rose Cottage again. Except for the view from the second story balcony, only disappointment in this home. It was dirty, un-equipped as a rental, and is in need of repair and a deep cleaning. The day we arrived we removed our shoes when entering. It was the last time our shoes came off in the house. The first evening showering our feet were so black it looked like mud in the shower. The furniture is stained and worn and the carpets were nasty. The rental had two bikes for our use - one was broken. The kitchen - I had to wipe down the inside of the fridge before stocking. This rental house didn’t even have salt and pepper - be prepared to bring or buy everything. We love BHI, and will be back, but will not be renting or recommending this house to anyone.

The Rose Cottage is very worn. Great location, but a lot of minor things that need attention. The cleanliness of the property, torn shower liner, no shower liner in the other bathroom. The door does lock, and bugs. It needs some TLC and is not worth the price it cost to rent it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. The house had a great layout for our group. Beds were comfortable, the view was lovely, and WWP was responsive!
My only real complaint was that the kitchen could be better equipped. The nonstick pots & pans were in terrible shape with flaking and loose handles. There were no grill tools and other utensils were not in good shape. It also would have been nice to have more dish towels.

the bedroom over the garage is very musty smelling, could not use it. the outdoor furniture needs to be cleaned and painted. the main house is very comfortable, very clean, and a very good location. two cars was very handy.

Rose Cottage is a good location and good layout. That said, it definitely needs some attention. There were sand spurs (OUCH!) in all mats in the house & in most bedroom carpets. We literally removed all mats from the house because they were providing more pain than help. This meant that sand easily got in the house. The carpet in the master bedroom has many stains.

We enjoyed the house overall. The location was top notch. We did have and issue with the water heater overcooking and ruining the staircase due to a lightning strike before we arrived. This necessitated repeated visits by maintenance folks, although all were pleasant and courteous. The strike knocked out a few TVs as well and we were without for the first few days. Our only non-temporary complaint was there isn't a recreation area for the kids separate from the main living area in case of a rain out day. This was a first trip to BHI for us and we thought it spectacular and will definitely be coming back!

Wendy Wilmot properties and professionals get a five star rating from us! We had an unexpected opportunity to stay at Rose Cottage and it couldn't have been more perfect for our family of adult children, spouses, and grand baby. The house was perfect and the view of ocean and sounds of waves....priceless as we enjoyed the deck and porches!! The screened in porch with large dining area was lovely for evening meals. We enjoyed the location on south beach with close proximity to the Market and Shoals Club as well as just a walk away from beach access. We had the BEST time and loved every minute of our family vacation week. Even with a couple special requests and a couple of minor repairs. Wendy Wilmot Property professionals pulled through with flying colors for our family. Thank you Wendy Wilmot professionals for working with us and helping us to have such a great family week at Bald Head!!!

We had a delightful stay at Rose Cottage. The property was perfect for our family. We had a couple issues when we first arrived and the property manager went avove and beyond to help us out. We would definitely rent through Wendy Wilmot again when we return to Bald Head Island in the future.

Great home!!!! The home was clean and just as described. It was in a great location. Managing property was excellent and made sure everything was satisfactory. Only suggestion would be to make access from street used to access beach to the shower and garage area. Inconvenient to walk all the way around to drive way when street in front of home is how you get to the beach

It was my first trip to BHI but not for my brother and his wife. My parents came too and it was a really awesome trip even though it turned out to be no kids with us! Great location and we can't wait to return! We were disappointed the Shoals Club membership was no longer included but we added it and it was great, no problem at all.

Beautiful home; great location; lovely views but we did not feel that the homeowner was interested in making this a top-notch destination for their renters. Beach towels are old and threadbare; extra blankets and pillows were piled up in a heap in the master closet. also old and threadbare and we certainly would not have used them without laundering first! Outdoor shower is unusable unless you hang a towel over the side that faces the road or -- free show for the neighbors!! Pots and pans, dishes, cutlery -- not what we expected.

We have rented Rose Cottage before and knew it was a great home. The location is terrific and the living space and bedrooms are perfect for our family. One of the benefits is that there is a master bedroom on the first floor which also is where the living room and kitchen are. So, there are only 5 steps to climb and you are set. A definite benefit for our 90+ year old mother. Or anyone with bad knees! When we arrived on Bald Head, a representative from Wendy Wilmot called to say there was a problem. The previous renters had trashed the oven. The glass door was broken and the lower element distroyed. The stove would have to be replaced. This was a problem because we were going to be entertaining and we needed an oven! Immediately! The owners of the home, Wendy Wilmot, her husband and her great staff all were terrific in solving a big problem that was unfortunately not their making! ( who destroys a stove?) The owners agreed to a different stove, Krista worked to find a stove that could be delivered immediately and Andy and tje WW team picked it up, delivered and installed it in 2 days. No small feat on BHI. We were able to enjoy the home and do our entertaining just as planned! Definitely an A+ for Rose Cottage, its owners and Wendy Wilmot Properties!
