Property was as-described; pictures don't do it justice. House was clean, and in a very nice, quiet, safe, residential neighborhood with lots of trees. House was well-appointed with all necessary items and comfortable furniture and beds. Very nice back porch with deer walking by intermittently. Short walk to the beach. We used the grill to cook dinner. All appliances and other features of the house were updated and in good working order. Would recommend this house and would stay there again.

We've stayed in A Touch of Tuscany three times now. We love the location and the home, as it has several nice amenities such as screened porch, outdoor shower, 5-7 minute walk to the beach; however, the cleanliness of the property could be improved. There were also a few issues that I emailed Jekyll Realty about (as I was advised this is the preferred way if communication) and I received a response after our vacation was over. Also, the washer and dryer were replaced with new ones but now are much smaller and does not accommodate washing for the amount of people the home accommodates. The couch also had a pet couch cover on it (something I wouldn't expect for the price). We rented from another rental agency on Jekyll last year and their homes are much cleaner. Again, love this home and the location but disappointed in the customer service from Jekyll Realty and the cleanliness of the home for the price we paid.

Awesome stay. Close to the beach & a 5 minute drive to the Convention Center (I was there for a professional conference). The place was clean & the king bed was great, very comfortable. The master bathroom was terrific too with a nice roomy shower. I highly recommend & will stay here the next time I attend the yearly conference.

The home was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked. The screened in back porch was very nice and we enjoyed the daily deer visitors. The master is us good size along with a nice walk in closet and large bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms and bathroom were a little on the small size but worked fine for our family. Would definitely recommend this home.

We love JEKYL ISLAND! This was our third trip this year. First time staying in TOUCH OF TUSCANY. Everything was comfortable, kitchen had everything that was needed to prepare meals. Outdoor shower was a plus. The owner really needs to supply throw rugs throughout the house. No rugs at any entryway. Rugs would really help to protect the beautiful floors throughout the house. The house itself needs a deep cleaning. The vent fan covers were very dusty. Loved the location of the house.

Perfect location to meet Dawn Patrol over our two week stay to see turtle hatchlings on the beach. A bonus was the backyard forest with deer including fawns. The house was perfect for three people but could have easily taken more guests. Beautiful outdoor screened porch added even more room in this beautiful home. A must stay!

Two families came together for a great time at Touch of Tuscany at Jekyll Beach! This unit was just a walk to the peaceful beach and a short drive to pool access backed by another beach access. We had brought a wagon for our beach needs and our bikes to enjoy the trails. The garage access was a wonderful feature so we could safely store all of our items! There was ample space inside for all of our things and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. When we were “home”, the outdoor screened in patio was a great place to wind down. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

My experience with this rental was positive. I will rent from here again. This is the second time staying in this house the renovations are amazing. I would not have looked at this house because when I stayed before it was very dark inside the house. But they recommended it because the one I wanted was booked. I’m glad I gave it another chance.

The layout of this house is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. There was plenty of storage places. Enough seating for our family of 8. We loved the sunroom. The temperature allowed us to sit out there in the morning and evening. It was quiet and peaceful. Nice outside shower and backyard. We are talking about staying here next year.

I loved my 10 days on jekyll, I like a touch of Tuscany, very quiet neighborhood, we didn’t like slipcovers on the furniture, the couch slipcover kept coming off, thought we had use of the garage but garage door opener was disconnected and was full with a golf cart etc. we thought we would be able to put our rented red bug in it but no room, jekyll reality was great, had an issue with the t.v., the young man came right away and fixed it

Very enjoyable stay at this comfortable home with screened porch - easy access with a short walk to the beach - worked great with our items stored in a rolling cart. Beach is available all day at this access point - a major plus for our beach loving family. Spacious interior with separated bedrooms provided good privacy between the adult couples. House is close to shopping and restaurants, but has the feel of a safe, comfortable and quiet neighborhood. The house was as pictured on the website and reasonably priced compared to other locations. Lots of relaxing room.

Touch of Tuscany is amazing. We stayed at this house 14 years ago and since then this house has totally been gutted and remodeled. Brand new layout, brand new amazingly beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. All new cabinetry, counters, floors, brand new stainless steel appliances. New jekyll room off the back. Much better use of the space. The house is right around the corner from the beach. Very private and quiet street. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We had room to spread out. The huge island made mealtime a breeze. The screened porch with its wicker furniture was a perfect place to read and relax. It was my Happy Place. The short walk to the beach was nice and shady. The outside shower was roomy and so convenient. The nearby hose and walkway made post-beach clean up a breeze. I hope we can come back in the fall and utilize the fire pit.

August 2020 Stay
The house has been recently renovated and had an open floor plan. The screened porch was wonderful for morning coffee and late afternoons. We saw deer almost every evening wonder by. The beach is just a short walk, maybe 5-10 minutes (it's not a bad walk with kids and your beach stuff). The outside shower was a nice perk when returning from the beach.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars on the cleanliness was the rug in the master bedroom didn't appear to be clean. Not sure if it had ever been vacuumed. Also, there were dust bunnies behind the beds. I only saw this because we had to bring our own sheets and make the beds and wish there would have been a vacuum (only a broom) to get up the daily sand we brought in or to clean up after eating. Other than that, the house was wonderful and Jekyll too!

Great Location
We had a great time in the middle of the island and just off the beach access. We took bikes and it was a great location to be able to go South to lots of activities or North to the trails and Driftwood Beach.

Fantastic Retreat!
We loved the house! The kitchen, great room and porch were perfect for family time. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. The newly remodeled bathroom, the bedrooms-and other bath all were spotless. Easy to rent linens. Easy access to washer and dryer. Literally 1 block from the beach with a backyard that feels like it backs onto a forest. Super quiet and peaceful. Close to everything on the island. It was our first time to Jekyll Island, but it won't be our last. We loved our stay and we would rebook this house on our next visit.

We had stayed in this rental about 10 years ago. It has since gotten a much needed renovation. It was fabulous. We loved the new open plan and the master bathroom renovation was magnificent. This house was perfect for our family. If you wanted a little privacy the screened porch was perfect. It was actually my favorite. The wicker furniture, especially the rocker, was a perfect spot for quiet reading and morning coffee. The rental location makes it a short walk to the beach. We had a minor issue and the management quickly responded and immediately resolved the issue.

June 2020 Stay
We have been visiting Jekyll for the last 15+ years. First time at this home. It’s in a great location. Private and quiet street. The home is nicely renovated in the kitchen and master bathroom. The open floor plan is nice to have. The screen porch is a really great addition. Unfortunately the home falls short on quite a few things. The floors and bathroom were dirty upon arrival. Mop and bucket left outside the back. The grill grates were disgusting and had char and old food stuck to it. Overall needs more detailed cleaning. The dishes weren’t very clean but we realized that was due to the hot water heater broken- they quickly replaced it. The beds not very comfortable but they worked for the week. The home needs rugs, as it is 100% hard flooring. All the furniture, especially the sofa and kitchen table, need to be updated. They are old and worn. Not comfy or relaxing for vacation. The living room doesn’t accommodate enough seating. And having the trundle bed in the living was awkward.

Our family of 4 visited Jekyll for a week so our kids could attend the Sea Turtle camp, which was the best camp ever! We loved the house, it had huge windows looking out on the front yard and there were deer every day that walked by. Also the back porch was amazing. The kitchen and master bath have recently been renovated. We would definitely stay in this house again! The only thing I could say it lacked was rugs. It had laminate flooring throughout, but no rugs at the entrance doors, in front of sinks or anywhere. Next time we will bring our own, it's so much easier to keep the house clean and dirt off your feet. Overall a wonderful, clean house!
