We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Our host was extremely accommodating and even proactively offered s an early check-in to beat a storm that was forecast. We would definitely return.

Came here to look for possible areas to move to someday. Brought our dogs due to all the hiking trails around. Host was very communicative and the property was remote enough yet close enough to everything you need.

The house and location were great! It was very peaceful and we enjoyed watching all of the deer that were around. We had everything we needed for our stay. Shelley was a great communicator and very accommodating. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The check in/check out process was easy. I would highly recommend this property. We needed relaxation and this was the perfect place for it. We will definitely be back if we can!

This was the easiest VRBO we've stayed. 10-13 minutes from TIEC, quite with WiFi to work remotely and all the amenities - even towels to wipe puppy feet! Communication from & with the host was always quick and easy. Answering questions and helpful tips navigating the area. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We were looking for a retreat from the busy world we live in! Was just what we needed. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Several quaint small towns surrounded our location with great local shops and restaurants. Would stay there again ,our host was most helpful and friendly.

Very relaxing setting that had an abundance of kitchen items not normally available - foil, saran wrap, baggies, spices. Bed was comfortable and sheets were very soft. Hostess even had towels available to clean pet paws! She walked us through using tv and asked about wedding that we attended while there. Great stay!

We had a wonderful time in this property. The house is beautifully surrounded by mature trees. We were able to see deers, listen to so many different birds and enjoyed the silence and tranquility of the area. As soon as we came in to the house, we fell in love with the view of the outside. The house was spotless. We had everything that we needed.. The host , Shelley, was very nice, attentive and always had great communication with us. She had great details for the dogs such as blankets and towels for their paws. I can’t wait to come back. There is so much to see and places to visit. On this trip we visited the downtown area of Saluda, DuPont Forest Park to see the waterfalls. I

We had a great time. Cabin was clean and deck view was very enjoyable. The host was amazing and communication was excellent with all. We felt so welcomed. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, private and quiet. The owner had left thoughtful notes and extras—especially liked the blankets for our pet who is offended if he can’t sit on the furniture. It was close enough to TIEC, that my early mornings and late returns were a pleasant drive. Will definitely try and book on a future trip to the area. Only wish we had more time to enjoy the property!

Loved this property. The location is perfect if visiting family in the area. Very relaxing. We were disappointed only that it rained and we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful deck area. Shelley was wonderful and very responsive to any questions. Thanks!

Nestled in the woods but very close to everything you need. Perfectly clean and great host. Communicates quickly. Cannot think of one bad thing to say!

What a great trip! The house was just perfect for our trip. Very clean, super dog friendly, had every amenity we wanted, great location that was 5 mins from town but felt secluded and private. Can't recommend highly enough.

The cottage is very nice, well appointed, and immaculately clean. The location is secluded but only minutes away from grocery and restaurants. The forest views are lovely and just as enjoyable through the wall of living room windows as from the deck, should the weather be uncooperative. It’s also a great place for dogs with dedicated towels and blankets, and a thoughtful gate for blocking off the deck stairs so they can’t scamper off after the neighboring deer. Shelley is super friendly and accommodating. Check in/out was a snap. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Property was exactly as described, but our week was mostly wet from daily rain. Cabin was clean, well equipped and comfortable so the rain was tolerable. Owner was available if needed and very helpful.

Nice secluded cottage to spend a few days catching your breath and unwinding. This one bedroom, one bath house packs a lot of amenities. This has made our third year vacationing there and it never disappoints. This has to be one of the cleanest and comfortable places we have ever stayed. Off of the beaten path, yet conveniently close to locations such as Lake Lure, Landrum, Tryon and Hendersonville.

Highly recommend. It is a great Cottage! When we stayed there was construction going on so a little noisy during the day but this should be temporary. Other than that great spot! Very close to so many beautiful mountain towns.

Great place and location. The serine area can be soaked up on that deck in the back on a cool Fall morning with the perfect cup of coffee. Good place for unwinding. Our 18yr daughter enjoyed the inflatable bed so much she stayed in it anytime we were there. The bathroom was more than sufficient and it had the washer & dryer in it - awesome! Why don't other places think of this rather than sticking them in a cob web infested, unfinished basement? The kitchen was stocked with a substantial supply of the necessities in the realm of utensils, plates and cookware. The appliances...let me tell you...although circa 1980s, they were immaculate and in good working order (we didn't use the oven). Just opening the fridge transported me to my grandmother's kitchen in 1984, looking for a snack in between the Tom&Jerry episodes. Somebody there must know something about the maintenance of appliances. Ample parking for 2 cars in the drive. No noise but birds. Wifi couldn't stream but did allow some social media looking. Talking to family, if you have internet at all in this part of the country, your lucky. So, we had no expectations. BTW, Verizon is spotty in the region until you get close to Asheville. I would definitely recommend this place for a small party of 2 or 3 adults. Not sure if kids would dig it much - no pool table, ping pong, air hocky, theater room, etc - like all the places around Pigeon Forge. This is a place that would be appreciated by a more mature crowd. People who like nature, its sounds and its peacefulness.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this private property. The house was immaculate and welcoming when we arrived. Shelley provided for all of our needs and more. She was always responsive when we had questions. This is such a great location since there are so many charming towns nearby. We especially enjoyed Saluda, Tryon, Brevard, and Hendersonville.

Perfect place to getaway and reset surrounded by nature. The floor to ceiling glass windows in main room with view of trees surrounding property is so peaceful. We enjoyed the property so much we didn't feel the need to go anywhere, but when we did venture out, it's an awesome base that's close to beautiful mountain drives, plenty of hikes and other fun mountain towns with great variety of cuisines. The real gem at this property is the owner, Shelley. She makes the stay extra special by making sure you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning.

The cottage is wonderful. It’s quiet and peaceful yet pretty close to shopping - groceries and the like. It had everything we needed for our stay and was spot clean and tidy. The host was great and we could tell because she anticipates the needs of her guests. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional location with a great vibe! The window wall allows you to enjoy the trees from the inside. The deck lets you enjoy the sounds and feel too! Great place.

We rent houses a few times a year for my daughters horse showing. This place was perfect for showing at Tryon. It’s close, clean, and comfortable. I was super impressed that the hostess thought of everything. Will definitely stay here again!
