We stayed at the house for a full month and loved every second of it! Location....Location... Location! You can walk to some of the beaches but we spent a lot of time at Hanalei Bay Beach which is about a 15 minute drive (less without traffic) We also loved the back patio - the view is gorgeous! If you want a clean house in the best area of Kauai (in my opinion), with an unbelievable view with very sufficient amenities, this is your house! Inquire about the costs of golf/pickleball at the local club before you come. We wish knew more because we would have brought our golf clubs and racquets. We hope to come back soon

We loved our stay in Elizabeth's property, the check-in check-out process was very smooth, the house is lovely with stunning views and great amenities like beach chairs, boards, etc. We fell in love with the area and hope to be back soon.

We loved this VRBO rental. The views are better than any picture can capture. The inside of the house is comfortable and roomy. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and we adored the location. We hope to stay here again.

I really can’t say enough good things about this property! The location of this home truly can’t be beat and the upkeep is very well managed for the tropical climate. Communication with the property manager was very prompt and thorough. We had 8 family members stay together there and there was plenty of space for everyone. The master bedroom upstairs was perfect for my wife and I and our two little kids. Everyone else had no shortage of space to call their own for a little bit of private time. Everything in the house is of very high quality. The furniture is composed of all beautiful boutique pieces. The ambience while sitting on the lanai’s is truly wonderful rain or shine. We cooked a lot of big meals. The beautiful kitchen table was perfect for our big family dinners and none of us had ever stayed anywhere with such a well outfitted kitchen. Strollers, surfboards, boogie boards, beach toys/chairs, fins and snorkelling masks were all provided and we heavily utilized all of it. This was greatly appreciated by the whole family. There are a few different access ways that we utilized to walk down to a lovely beach . Driving from the home it’s only minutes to many beaches, shops, hikes and great restaurants. Travelling across/around the island is not too big of a drive. We booked a morning Napali Coast boat tour out of Pt.Allen on the other side of the island l; although it was a fairly early start we had no issues making it there on time. I could go on and on!

There’s something magical about starting your day with that beautiful view. Our family of 7 really enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were the reason that we booked it, but we also appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom (two on the main floor and one upstairs), and that the mattresses & pillows were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on (and I like soft—my husband likes firm—but we both loved that mattress). The kitchen is a little dated but has more than enough dishes, mugs, wine glasses, & cookware. The grill is gas; the coffee maker is drip. There’s ice in the freezer and there’s another refrigerator out in the garage. The hosts also have a huge variety of beach towels for you to borrow so no need to pack your own. The neighborhood is really quiet-except for the roosters! It is a quick walk over to the resort restaurant, which was a really nice place to grab a meal. There’s also a pizza takeout at the same resort that’s pretty good too. The resort does NOT want you to cut through its property to get to the small beach nearby. They issue wrist bands to their guests, and will ask to see them, so I would advise just going to a different beach. It’s about 45-60 minutes to the airport from the house depending on traffic. The best grocery store is right in Princeville. Don’t do Walmart in Lahuie-the food selection is limited. This house is spacious; it has everything you could need, and the view is good for your soul. :)

Wish we could take that view home with us. House was perfect for our family get away. A great quiet location with the backyard unobstructed for all of us to grab coffee in the morning and eat together in the evening. Bedrooms are nicely split up for adult kids to have their own space but the family room pulls everyone together.

Magnificent mountain views doesn’t quite do justice to the incredible view that greeted us from nearly every window. We loved having coffee, meals, and cocktails on the back porch while enjoying the gorgeous view. The open layout of the home gave us room to relax, and provided plenty of space to spread out after our excursions each day. The host provided all the amenities we needed and more. Our family is counting down the days until we can return to paradise!

This location was gorgeous, set in a quiet neighborhood with lush vegetation surrounding the house. There were exactly 8 of us but not once did we feel crowded or on each other's toes. We had plenty of space to move around and be comfortable in. We had other family staying on the island and were able to host them for dinner, it was Great!

I have not been to the Hawaiian islands, and have always wanted to go! I was so grateful my son and family were able to attend. I wanted to spend my first time on an less populated and more natural than commercialized, I could not have asked for a better trip. Getting to our vacation house was easy, and the owner sent us all the information so we would not have any troubles finding or getting into the vacation home. The house is beautiful and unique, I glad I chose this home for our vacation! The views in the back of the house are serene and peaceful. Thank you for letting my family and I enjoy your home!

We have been to kauai many times over the past 20 years. We stayed in this neighborhood because our friends live close. The house felt super private once you entered the home. The view out of the back patio was lovely. We spent most of our time out there, morning, afternoon and evenings. The house had the beach supplies we needed, a great after beach shower and plenty of room for us to spread out. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This property is a real gem! Elizabeth, the owner, was very communicative and responsive. The house is spacious and airy with absolutely breathtaking views. It had everything we needed, from beach gear to kitchen utensils. It’s very private, and we barely ever heard any people-just the sounds of birds and roosters. It’s a few doors down from Hanalei Bay Hotel, where we had access to a restaurant, bar, pools, hot tub, and beach. We sipped coffee on the back porch and watched the waterfalls on the mountains. It was truly a special place and we had a very hard time leaving!

Loved this house, lovely yard for my 3 year to play in and collect coconuts, a friendly neighborhood cat that visited daily, all the beach items you will need, plenty of space and lovely furnishings. Can't wait to come back!

Great neighborhood, views were stunning, owner was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay again when we return!!!

The only complaint that I have is that we weren't able to stay longer. Elizabeth and Rob were both great and very helpful to us during our stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in a beautiful place in a great location.

We stayed here with four kids 7 and under and it was ideal for our family. The house includes a stroller, pack and play, and high chair, which made it much easier to travel with and stay with our one year old. The outdoor shower was a lifesaver with our kids coming back from the beach. And the setting was perfect for a rainy day.

We enjoyed the home and view of mountains. Went to Hanalei Bay Resort for dinner, which is only steps away from this great property. This property is worth staying at, the streets are very pedestrian friendly. Beautiful neighborhood no sidewalks but streets are wide with very nice grass shoulders.

House had everything we needed for a great vacation!!

This is a beautiful property. I couldn't ask for better views. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and has several beaches nearby. The house was well supplied with sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels, and beach umbrellas. My kids enjoyed playing in the yard, and we all enjoyed sitting on the covered back porch. As a bonus, a very friendly cat often stopped by to get pets from my children. We would definitely like to stay here again at some point.

The house and the location were absolutely amazing! We were only a short walk away from Queens Bath where our son proposed to his girlfriend! The subdivision was beautiful and safe. The entire trip was beyond what words can express!!

This property is so magical because it’s behind the lanai. The house was large and comfortable with everything you needed to relax and enjoy. The bed in the primary suite was soft and cozy.

We rented this house as headquarters for our wedding. Although only 4 of us actually stayed in the house we hosted around 20. It was perfect... size, location, places for people to sit and drink in the amazing view. A couple of very small maintenance issues did nothing to diminish the perfectness of everything else. Elizabeth was responsive and helpful. Nothing but great memories to take home.

There was more than enough room for all of us, and every bed was very comfortable. The extra beach gear supplied in the garage made our days much more fun. The best part was the view out the back door and the stars at night. Excellent stay for sure!

This house was perfect for my family of 7. Plenty of space and private showers for all. The outdoor shower was also amazing. I loved the outdoor deck furniture and the view was just amazing! There were plenty of accessories for beach provided along with awesome beach towels. The only thing I would add to the property is a roku or a streaming service to allow for family movie night. There is however a DVD player. Would definitely stay here again!

My family (two grandparents, two parents, one aunt, three children of ages 8, 4, and 1) had a great stay at this house. I have never stayed at a house with such a magnificent view in the backyard, and the house is beautifully furnished. Elizabeth, the host, was very friendly, responsive, and supportive. There were plenty of sand toys, surfboards, pool floats/swimming tubes, and snorkeling equipment for kids and adults, so that we didn't need to rent any beach equipment. I think this house would be the perfect vacation home for many, though not all, families, for the reasons I list below. I am taking one star off for the following reasons, and I hope this serves guests for whom these details are relevant: (1) the house is old. A lot of the cabinets and drawers have hinges and drawer glides that are worn down, and, therefore, don't open and close well or are misaligned. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans are old. The washing machine and dryer work fine, but they are old and rusty. Some of the listing descriptions are also inaccurate. I don't think this is intentional, I just think they're outdated, for example, (a) there is no four-seat square table inside the Master bedroom upstairs, instead of the rocking chair and the table, there are two over-sized bean bag/lovesac chairs, (b) there is no six-seat rectangular table next to the kitchen, (c) there are no lounge chairs on the balcony, only two wooden benches without any cushions, and one of the benches is broken and has a sign on it saying not to use it because it hasn't been repaired yet. This made the balcony an uninviting place to sit, and we spent most of our lounging time in the family room (which, by the way, has the same spectacular views). (2) The house is full of Buddhist decor (which you can make out in some of the pictures, but they stand out much more when you're there in-person). My family is religious, but not Buddhist, and the prominently displayed Buddhist decor was slightly off-putting. (3) The house is not sound-proofed. I personally enjoyed the sounds of many bugs and birds at night, but my parents, who are light-sleepers, had a hard time sleeping with all the noise. The windows have bug screens with blinds/louvers/shutters on them, so even when you close them, you're only blocking direct sunlight and rain, but still letting in air, light, and sound. Overall, a wonderful home that shows its age, but it really does have a spectacular view and is in a great location.

The view is spectacular, the house feels very secluded but is close to many beaches. The rooms are spacious and porch is amazing. They have surf boards, buggy boards, beach chairs snorkeling gear, and sand toys all in the garadge to use:)
