Enjoyed watching the Dolphins in the surf out front and the wildlife egrets an osprey out back

The whole experience was wonderful! Gorgeous view of the ocean and sound. Beach was easily accessible (less than a minute from house steps to beach, and that was hauling 2 toddlers, 2 3 year olds and a beach cart). House was fantastic. We loved the pool and hot tub, and the outdoor shower was a huge hit. We had everything imaginable that we needed in the kitchen. The floats, boogie boards and beach chairs available were a nice perk. Ben was very responsive, and helpful with the two very minor issues we ran into. Solved them right away! Would highly recommend Go Big or Go Home, and we will be booking there again for our next trip to Topsail.

Although the weather could have been warmer, we had a fabulous stay at Ben’s place. The kids swam every day in the heated pool for several hours, and even went in the ocean several times. The views are gorgeous, and we loved watching the dolphins from our porch. Our family had a great time relaxing and enjoying games, walks and exploring the area!

Go Big or Go Home was a great spot for a friends and family getaway. Great views all the way around, easy beach access and a great backyard with pool for relaxing when done with beach time. There were a couple minor issues that we relayed to Ben, who was quick to respond in a helpful manner. There was plenty of room for our three families and a few other friends who stopped by to visit while we were in town. Great spot for a chill family getaway.

Our group of 12 adults and teenagers had an awesome week in Topsail. The location of the house was excellent, just across the street from the ocean with an unobstructed view of the waves from the front porch. The tiki bar was enjoyed by the guys, perhaps a little too much! The hot tub was great. I appreciated that the cover for it was hinged to make it easier to get on and off. The pool area was relaxing and beautiful but a bit on the small side especially for a group of 12. The outside shower was a plus for keeping sand out of the pool, hot tub, and house. There were a couple of issues though. The refrigerator didn’t keep too cold and we were asked to keep our drinks in a small cooler that needed ice multiple times a day. The doorknobs were also problematic. It was hard to get in and out of the house. Ben was a responsive host though and answered our questions quickly, particularly about how to work the outside lights. The views from both sides of the house were excellent! Open one door, ocean view. Open another, sound view. All and all it was a pretty awesome week at the beach. Topsail was new for us and we found it super relaxing.

Excellent location access to beach was right across the street. Pool, hot tub and tiki bar was awesome. Kitchen was fully loaded and the views from all decks was spectacular. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets ever. Overall great!

This is a great property and comfortably fit 3 families. It has great views of the ocean and the sound, and an amazing backyard to relax in when you don't want to be on the beach. Hope to stay at again.

Location was great, pool was wonderful. The house needs a better cleaning service, dirty walls, floor boards, the grill took us 2 1/2 hours to clean before we could use it. Outdoor furniture needs to be replaced along with deck boards. Enjoyed our stay and if a new cleaning crew, it would have been different . Ben was responsive and pleasant

We visited Topsail during the last week of March while on Spring Break. We had 6 adults and 7 kids ranging from 10-13 years old. For most of us, it was the first time in Topsail so didn’t really know what to expect from the area. There were many positives about this house and we would absolutely stay here again. There were not many dining options at this end of the island so we ended up driving into Surf City on most days for food and ice cream. Highlights: - heated Pool / Hot tub were great! Both were serviced during our stay so that made us feel great that they were being treated! Ben was very responsive the first day when we couldn’t figure out the heater for the pool. - outdoor grill was great for cooking on. - outdoor refrigerator and tiki area was really nice! So easy to keep beverages where we ended up spending of our evenings. - the bedroom situations worked perfectly for our group! - we were a little nervous that the living room area would not fit the size of our group, but were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was and we all got great! - lastly, the view from this house was by far the best! The pictures definitely do not do it Justice. Being able to walk right across and access the beach without any thing obstructing the view was so nice for keeping an eye on the kiddos going to play on the sand. Morning coffee on the deck watching dolphins was a highlight!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The proximity to the ocean is fantastic and the backyard is like an oasis with a gorgeous pool and very clean hot tub. The living area was cozy with a wonderful view of the ocean. The deck furniture was plentiful and in great condition. We spent a majority of our time enjoying the pool area and loved grilling and eating on the back patio. We would definitely consider staying at this rental again.

We came with many complications. The stairs were very difficult for some of the members of our party but as a family we pulled together and assisted those who needed it. But there was something for everyone. The pool, the hot tub, were great but paled in comparison to the porches and views. The beach was perfect. The only thing I would change is the deck needs some attention and remove the cactus growing up through the boards. We just put a lounger over it and kept enjoying our stay. We would recommend it to any party that has no issues with stairs!!!

Sunrise and sunset from the wraparound porch is worth it alone. Add in the tiki bar, pool, hot tub, and unobstructed ocean views and you have the perfect vacation spot! Host was very responsive and friendly. Very easy instructions for everything. We will definitely be back!

Hard to beat the view from any of the porches. The pool, hot tub and tiki bar made it feel like a resort.

The house has lovely views both front and back. It’s quiet even being right on the main road.

We had an enjoyable week at Ben's property and appreciate his hospitality! From the house to the pool to a fully-functioning, easy to use hot tub, the overall layout is perfect for a nice week at the beach. The house layout promotes a gathering point as well as multiple spots to duck out and enjoy either the ocean waves or the sunset. Very unique from a view standpoint. Access to the beach is right across the road and very convenient. From a location standpoint, we found ourselves headed down to Surf City daily, as there is a clear central hub, where as North Topsoil is more an isolated vibe (which may be exactly what you are looking for). For us, that was minor drawback but a reflection on North Topsoil, not the vacation house. Also, traffic in front of the house was significant enough that we felt disconnected from the ocean. As an example, the car noises overrode the sounds of ocean. Again, minor but mentioning in case that is helpful.

Absolutely loved this house and it's location. Ample space, great fully stocked kitchen and common area. Views from the top deck our amazing! Pool and tiki bar were a huge hit and we definitely spent over half our week there. Plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. View of the intercoastal waterway from the back porch is just as spectacular. Communication with Ben our contact person was very prompt but we had ZERO issues. We will be renting from him again. Highly recommend! 5 stars all the way around!

Great location, views, access to beach. Great to have the pool and the hot tub. Good layout to the rooms. We'd be happy to come again if we can work out our timing. Our group was 12 people, including grandparents, parents, and 6 kids (grandkids).

Beautiful views, in a beautiful neighborhood. Bens property in one of the best we saw in the area. One of the few with beach and a pool. I would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in N.C. Definitely a 10/10 property.

We enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen is up to date and stocked with everything you need to prep dinners - we even had a crab leg night . Super roomy for our family of 14. The kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub and walking to the beach across the street was effortless. Every night was spent looking at the ocean will having drinks on the top deck. Ben was easy to communicate with to resolve issues that weren’t a big deal. The house was super clean and nicely updated. Would highly recommend and stay again!!!

Everything was exactly as stated. Host was quickly responsive when we couldn’t figure out pool lights. Terrific ocean view! Close beach access and we loved the pool and hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked with anything one might need for cooking and serving. Cooler for drinks was a nice touch. Bring lots of sunscreen. Thanks for a fantastic week!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay this past week as much as we did 2 years ago! I know I appreciated it more after having no vacation last year. The home is perfect for our family! Thanks Ben for providing such a great place for us to relax!
