We had a very good time at this newer-built cabin!! If you want a true log cabin experience that is clean and more updated, this is it. The beds are very comfy! Kids loved the bunk beds. It's obvious the owners put a lot of love and thought into the decor and overall experience for guests, really got a sense of them sharing a special place to them and having pride in making it great for us too. We enjoyed being close to the marina, general store and mom and kids loved the coffee shop! There were fresh flowers when we arrived too. The owner was very responsive and gracious!! There was a heat wave while we were there. The central AC worked really well throughout the home so we were comfortable the whole time.

A group of 8 ladies had a great time at this property. Lots of room, very clean, just as advertised, well stocked with lots of personal touches that made you feel welcome as the though you were visiting friends. Great location, close to village and lake. Overall awesome experience, highly recommend this property.

Since I am the guy who always plans the Bass Lake trip, I am the guy who gets to pick where we stay. And quite honestly that’s part of the fun.
This year I chose Jeff and Allison’s place in the woods. I knew from the photos it would be a great place but didn’t realize until our arrival how spectacular it actually was.
We’re talking about a newly built rustic cabin in the woods. It’s very warm and inviting with a feeling of Americana. It’s well maintained and very clean. The large deck in back along with two large picnic tables make it a great place to spend time outside. We found ourselves saying ‘wow’ on more than one occasion.
We chose to cook our own meals and the well appointed kitchen made meal prep and serving a snap.
As far as sleeping goes there are a number of bunks and trundles and no shortage of places to put people. There are also plenty of crisp white bath linens which I personally love.
Truth be told there’s nothing about this cabin that’s NOT to love. We’ll be back next year!

This place was perfect for our family! Spacious, cute, and cozy. My husband and I took three of our adult kids and five grandkids, and there was plenty of room! The location was minutes away from Bass Lake, a small general store, an excellent Restaurant at the resort, and a pizza place.
If your going up for snow in the winter season, the snow was 25 minutes from the cabin!

Adorable Cabin!
The rental experience was smooth and the cabin was even cuter and cozier than expected. The location is ideal, at the end of a road with room around the cabin to explore. We even saw a bear stroll by the sunroom window. It was a wonderful stay for myself, my husband, and our four young kids with plenty of room for everyone.

PERFECT GETAWAY!
Perfect place for a girls getaway. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It's also walking distance to shops and Ducey's restaurants or bar and grill. Oakhurst, a bigger town with more restaurants, is only 15 minutes away. The neighborhood is clean and quiet but be on the lookout for bears and foxes -- which we saw every day.

Altitude training
Headed up with some family to train for the Bass Lake triathlon, getting a feel for the course. The cabin was a great location to set up base camp. The Mounts are great hosts, getting everything we needed set up ahead of time.

A+ Cabin in the woods
We had a great time at this cabin, just being able to get away for the weekend and enjoy the scenery and take the grandkids fishing. This cabin is close enough to take a short walk to the pines grocery store. Plenty of beds for the 7 of us. The USA theme was awesome. The owners were right on top of any questions I had before we arrived and made the experience of renting there cabin fantastic. It was cold and overcast the first day we all stayed inside in our pj’s and played games in this wonderful cabin. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again an A+ experience!

Great property, bad timing
we had a great time until we had to be evacuated due to the fire. I called the owner to let them know, Allison was very grateful that I let her know of the situation and that we all got out safely , but because I went through Vrbo I had to go through them. Tried with no success to get a hold of anyone. I'm hopeful that someone from Vrbo will get back to me.

Beautiful and classic cabin
We had a lovely 5 days at this cabin. The cabin was clean and cozy, with all necessary luxuries (including AC during the 95 degree days we had!). The owners kept in close touch, and everything was beautifully cleaned on our arrival. It was the perfect place to stay for a week in Bass Lake.

We had a blast!!!
We were here with 4 teenagers and there were so many things to do! They loved watching the Disney movies on VHS (haha! We had to show them how to work the VCR). It was quiet, cozy and the lake was beautiful. A couple of other reviewers suggested bringing extra TP and trash bags which was good advice as we would have run out. The owner was very communicative and friendly. 5 star all the way!!!

All the comforts of home!
The cabin was spotless and I loved the layout of the house, with plenty of room for everyone. Our host, Alison was flexible and gracious. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were so comfortable! My only reason for the four stars is that the location was not what we were hoping. We were boxed in by lots of neighbors and even though the lake was within walking distance, there really wasn’t any good place to swim due to no boat slip or beach within walking distance. Bass lake was beautiful but super hot and crowded. We were hoping for better water time but the time we spent in the cabin exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful rustic Cabin with lots of room, perfectly located walking distance to Bass lake.
The cabin was perfect. My family of 5 with 2 college students and a 14 year old, all boys, had an amazing time. We took two cars so the older ones could take off to hike. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio, BBQ, made pancakes in the adorable kitchen and they boys had plenty of room to get away and play their nintendo switch in the one room and the oldest loved to read in your front sunroom. The master bedroom was so charming and inviting. Every night we opened all the windows and sleep so soundly nestled in the woods. Your list of ideas on things to do was so helpful. We rented a pontoon, jet ski, kyak, hiked Yosemite, traveled the scenic byway and the boys went cliff jumping.into a pool underneath a waterfall. Bass lake was so warm and it didn't feel crowded. We all can't wait to come back. It really reminded me of Minnesota where I grew up.

Nice house but not what we hoped for
This house is nice and the owners seem nice but to say they only provide you the minimum for your stay would be an understatement. No trash bags, only sheets and blankets for the exact number of people you list in your intitial booking. We ended up having two more kids and they had no sheets. Why not just leave sheets for every bed? The fridge took two days to get cold even when on the coldest setting and the property manager we were told to call never called us back. We had to go buy toilet paper, trash bags, blankets and soap for the washing machine. They left 1 pod for us.....My recommendation to this owner, get a new manager and quit being so cheap.

Great Vacation!
We had such a fun time staying at this cabin! The cabin is beautiful and fit two families with teenagers perfectly. It was in a very peaceful forest, at the bottom of a cul-de-sac and was decorated very nicely. It had everything we needed and we loved the back deck with two patio tables. We had a great time playing in the lake, renting a boat, cooking great meals, playing games at the cabin. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return!

Fantastic cabin in Willow Cove
This is a great cabin. We’ve been coming to Bass Lake for 12 years and change cabins usually every year or two. This is one of the best we have stayed at. Lots of parking. Nice entry area. Living room, dining table and kitchen are in a combined space. Downstairs has a bathroom, bedroom and room with bunks. Upstairs is an amazing master and bath along with a loft for two twin beds, each with a trundle.
WiFi worked great. The deck was large. Definitely recommend it for the price if you want to be close to everything.
