Quiet getaway for two
Gegründet hinter dem Haupthaus von der Straße. Dieses ruhige wenig Platz für 1 oder 2 ist ein perfektes Wochenende für einen Aufenthalt auf der Insel. Auf halbem Insel innerhalb Fahrrad erreichbar zu Stadt und Südufer. Der Innenraum verfügt über eine kleine Küchenzeile, Doppelbett und Badezimmer. Die Außenseite Deck gehören Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und Restaurants unter dem Vordach der Bäume. Ferner ist eine kleine Außenküche zum Grillen und Kochen.

Such an intelligently arranged property and room. The outside area was fabulous with a wonderful garden. I was particularly intrigued by the train! Everything was perfect. Highly recommend, just not really walking distance to center town. We had bikes so it was great. Private and quiet. Nice neighborhood.

This is a tiny room and even smaller bathroom, outside of town in a converted garage apartment.
It is very clean with nice linens and very comfortable bed. There is a lovely deck, which saved use because the bedroom is for sleeping only--no space to walk, sit, etc.. There is a small refrigerator which the owner kindly stocked with waters, seltzer, and coffee. The owner, Patricia, was extremely accommodating, and we were happy to meet her on a walk.
The room suited us, as we needed a quick 2-night stay, and we know the island well. It is removed from Town, so those who are visiting for the first time will need a car to get around.

Perfect for what I needed...a place to sleep with a private bath. Great communication from the owner and easy to get in and out of. It's just a bedroom with a bathroom/shower, but it's cozy and a great patio/deck area for early morning or evening leisure time. Thank you as well for accommodating an early check-in!

Loved this place. Very small, but very clean, well stocked with necessities, and all we needed to sleep at night and enjoy the island by day. Easy access to bus line and big TV for unwinding at the end of the day. Thanks again!!

This property did not disappoint. Patricia was wonderful to communicate with. The immaculate cottage is tucked behind (and attached to the main house). The neighborhood is quiet and with easy access to the bus and bike path. The cottage comes with a beautiful deck, great for reading or having breakfast. The bed is a double and considered on the small size. The refrigerator and microwave came in handy. For a bit
more $, Cook’s bikes delivered and picked up for us.
This property was a quick 7 minute drive to Town. One of our favorite breakfast places is a quick bike ride away (the Downyflake-closed on Weds). Stop and Shop, a pharmacy, and the Island Kitchen are also a quick bike ride away! This cottage is great for 1-2 adults.

Very cute, clean, and private room, well-located to the center of town.
It is very compact but we loved the homey touches and without a car, it was very easy to get to the center of town by foot or by the free island shuttle service that stops right around the corner.
Didn't meet the host in person but they were very responsive and kind, providing recommendations before our stay and allowing us to store our luggage there until our flight the day of checkout.
Just bear in mind you will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner!

We attended during rainy weather. So we could not take advantage of the very nice deck. Our stay was limited to the indoors. The room is very well constructed with great craftsmanship. But it is just too small. The two of us were tripping over ourselves.

The train station was a great place to stay for two nights for a family wedding. It was very clean and we loved the little touches…. curling iron, blow dryer, iron, tea, paper plates, silverware, coffee mugs, wine glasses, dish washing soap, shampoo, etc… In addition, excellent coffee, amazing outside space, good size (MINI/college) refrigerator with a little freezer and close to downtown. We walked each morning to downtown. What an amazing walk through all the beautiful neighborhoods. Round trip approximately 3 miles. Overall an amazing stay! Thanks for the memories!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The space is small but unique and has everything you could possibly need. The host provided coffee, along with a French press and regular coffee maker, as well as creamer and seltzer water. They were very responsive to all our inquiries and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and content.

We needed a place on Nantucket in order to attend a family wedding. We had been vacationing nearby, and because my brother has a big house (occupied by the wedding crowd) nearby and because we knew most of the weekend would be taken up with wedding events, we didn’t need anything fancy. This small room had all we needed: a bed, a bathroom, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. The TV was big and easy to watch from bed, so we enjoyed some US Open matches. The owner was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had. Uber makes it easy to get around the island. We loved our stay!

nice for one
Lovely large patio, inside was very nice for one but might be a bit tight (as in climbing over your partner to get out of bed) for two. Location is quiet and a bit out of center of town, convenient to bike paths and easy bike to beach and more. French press and coffee beans with grinder were a very nice touch, suggest just a few more dishes (bowls, a couple of small plates) to facilitate breakfast in on that lovely patio.

Perfect hideaway
Loved my stay in this property. It’s nicer than the pics would indicate - no shade meant to the photographer. It’s very quiet. The outdoor space is SO nice. The location was handy as I was interested in biking a lot, and it’s very close to a bike path. Also very close to the Wave, which was convenient. My interactions with the host and property manager were professional and friendly. Would stay here again.

Unique stay in a quaint neighborhood
Just what we wanted for a long weekend getaway. The owner, John was very responsive and helpful. We had our privacy on property. The place is perfect for two average to smaller sized adults, but larger guests may feel the room and beds are too small.
The Wave bus is right at the end of the street and a bike shop is located a 15min walk from the property.
A bike ride to Cisco brewery, downtown or a few beaches is 45 mins or less and I highly recommend it.
A cafe and a couple of restaurants are also within 15 mins walk.
Fantastic deck included and is great for a quiet night in or morning coffee…great local whole bean coffee, grinder and drip maker and French press provided.
Highly recommend!

Claustrophobic Room
This place is not just small it’s claustrophobic, about one third the size of a standard hotel room. There was no smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. The only sink had a broken cold water faucet so there was only hot water. Portions of the sink countertop and bathroom walls were covered with black mold. I would not stay here again.
