I was pleasantly surprised by the unit. A little bigger than I imagined. Definitely an older feel to it, especially the small kitchen area, but the living room was sizable and the loft provided some sleeping separation between my teenagers (on the couches) and me. Don't expect luxury but if you arrive with lower expectations, this unit will do the trick. The Wii did not work for us, so I hope that gets fixed. But the entertainment options overall were plenty sufficient, including wifi, appletv (and thus netflix/prime), and a bunch of DVDs. We also made daily use of the hot tub, which is within the complex; and we never had to share the tub with other folks, which was nice. The location is great and as advertised. I imagined walking to Canyon Lodge if needed -- as it turned out, weather cooperated and we did not have to do so. It would have been a long (but doable) uphill walk if we did need to walk there. But it was a very quick and easy drive. Charles was really responsive and helpful. I'd happily stay here again if we return to Mammoth for another long weekend of skiing.

The place is not very comfortable - the interior feels like a dump, especially the living room with its narrow couches one can hardly sleep on. There seems to be only one small noisy electric heater downstairs (not counting a fireplace), and it felt freezing cold inside in the morning. Cleanliness is also much to be desired. To the host’s credit, he was very responsive to our requests - for example he fixed a broken light bulb in the living room (which should have been checked beforehand), as well as a remote control for the DVD player, and quickly responded to our other questions. If there is one nice thing about the property, is the jacuzzi outside - we loved being there at nights with so much snow all around it. It is also pretty close to the village. Overall it is tolerable for a short stay, I’ll leave it at that.

Perfect place for a quick ski getaway. Very close to canyon. Maybe could use a few instructions inside about tv remotes, fireplace operation, etc. but overall nice place with quick access to the mountain.

A great place to rest after a day on the slopes. Close to the village and to the other community amenities.

This studio was a perfect space for me. I worked during some daylight hours and walked outside and played others. This is a great spot.

We came to ski and had a good time. The VRBO owner was very responsive with an issue using the WiFi. It was resolved in a timely manner. The condo was in a great location for us close to town and restaurants. Would definitely rent this again.

It's a nice condo that's in a great location in Mammoth Lakes. The condo has a 70s vibe to it and has all the basics that you need for a stay in Mammoth.

Great location close to Canyon Lodge and The Village. Cute retro vibe. Owner was extremely flexible and worked with us when we needed to change dates. Great stay.

Place was accurately depicted in photos. Amazing location, walkable to The Village and Canyon Lodge which was super convenient. The place is definitely suited for one or two persons - kitchen is too small for more people. Living room was large and spacious. Couch was just cushions on a wooden bench. Stove is retro but easy to use. All in all it suited our needs for sleeping, showering, and watching TV at the end of a long day.

Awesome cabin which was very close to the mountain. Very homey and had everything we needed after a day on the slopes. Owner is quick to reply and is super understanding. Would highly recommend this spot!

Great studio condo, close to town, Canyon Lodge and Village. Very cozy place for 2 people.

This is a no frills place with all the amenities, wood burning fire place and great location. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a great price close to the slopes.

Well the skiing was amazing so …. And the location of the condo is great. When we went into The Village, we made the short drive to Canyon Lodge and took the gondola into tow and back. No hassles with parking. The condo has all the kitchen basics and then some. Very good value overall.

This place is a great spot for a couple people who are looking for a place to sleep while they ski/board. The couches are big enough for 3 people, and the living room has plenty of space. Great little nook.

Perfect place to get away as a couple for the weekend. Gorgeous scenery. Condo looks just like the pictures! There’s a bike trail at the end of the street, super convenient for a short or long ride. Brewery is just minutes away. A lot of remotes for tv but we were able to figure everything out. Bed could be more comfy but overall we had a great time here and appreciated the hospitality!

Would have loved this place in 1978, not so much in 2022

The property was clean and had everything we needed. Even things we didn’t know we needed! Lots of entertainment. Would highly recommend.

This was a great property at a very convenient and central location that was just the perfect size for what we needed. It was small but comfortable for two people and had good amenities for staying in and hanging or just using it as a place to sleep. Well stocked with necessary toiletries and supplies and a good value overall. Would stay again!

Attention to small details was lacking! This place is cool if your going with a few young friends skiing/Snowboarding and want to save some money, period! The basic stuff is there but no big luxury splurge! The carpet and other areas were stained here and there, and the place could use some TLC all around! But again for the price, i guess its ok... The carpet looked nasty for me sorry but I look at the small details!

We would recommend this to a couple or small group of people. Smaller space but very cozy and conveniently located.

Spacious living room, cute kitchen, cozy upstairs loft. Perfect for a couple looking to get away in the mountains. Also room for one or two people to sleep downstairs.

Love the place! Second time staying here. It’s close to Canyon Lodge where we go snowboard, take the gondola down to The Village for restaurants, retail shops and bars. Drive a mile to see and enjoy frozen Mammoth Lake. The place has an upstairs loft with a King size bed and bathroom. Downstairs you can blow up the available air queen mattress, complete kitchen with plates and everything else you need to cook a good meal, oh and internet TV. Voila you in paradise😎 Will come back again! Thank you.
