Family and friends had a great long weekend stay! Don’t forget to hit up the beach club. Beautiful view plenty of space, all of the cooking amenities you could ask for.

Property was very clean and comfortable. The deck was nice and spacious. We would definitely go again. Bill reached out before we got there to let me know about some work being done and made himself available for any other issues.

House was great, just really disappointed. Listing showed two great pictures of a fireplace on the patio, except when we got there, we found out we could not use it. Emailed owner twice during stay, no response. Keypad for door entry turned off 10:35 am when check out is 11:00 am.
Overall great property would never stay with this owner again, just poorly managed and expectations not met.

House is really an excellent rental. Beautiful space, views, outdoor porch and the resort area amenities are awesome. The fourth bedroom is outside above the garage and more cottage-y than the nice main house. The beds and linens need a refresh and more pillows for each bed would make it more comfortable.

Awesome cottage and scenery! Everyone enjoyed it! The only issues was the parking bc that part of Texas is extremely hilly! Conveniently located around stores and restaurants.

The property itself and the stay was amazing! The only drawback is the abundance of paperwork and hoops to jump through to use amenities. Its very clear there is an established HOA that may not be as accommodating for short-stay guest. There was also a burn ban in place that I was unaware of during the booking process, which didn't allow the use of the fire places in the entire area.

We loved staying at the Hollows. It’s a great vacation resort. If we return we probably will book a different unit. Our biggest complaint was the AC. The house could not get below 80, which made it very difficult to get some relief from the TX heat. In addition to the AC needing and upgrade the house needs a deep thorough cleaning (floors, windows, upholstery) and the appliances (from coffee maker to iron) need to upgraded. Many of the appliances are in need of replacement and are more than 20 years old.

Very Nice property and view of Devil's Cove / Lake Travis
Great location within the Hollows Resort community. This home on Trident Lane is about a 2-mile drive from the very nice pools, hot tubs, and restaurant at the Hollows Beach Club. Highly recommend this property!

Nice place, but outside around house. There were res hornets. My son got stung on top of his head going up to the room above garage. There were several nest around house.

Great Girl's Getaway
We booked a last-minute trip to Lake Travis and we're so happy this rental was still available. We're a group of 5 close friends from Houston, Tx that try to get together often for a girls' getaway. Due to covid and babies, we had to put our trip on hold for a bit. The views and patio were amazing and the surroundings made for a very relaxing and much-needed laid-back getaway. We loved that we were able to go for a walk on the walking trail and hang out at the pool (all on the Hollows property). We did notice there weren't any restaurants nearby and getting an uber/lyft was a bit of a headache and long drive.... but luckily not impossible. The good thing is UberEats does delivery though. The amount of space was perfect for a group of 5. One thing we didn't notice until we arrived is that two of the beds and 1 bathroom are in the separate room above the garage. None of us felt comfortable staying there since it would require us to walk outside and up/down some stairs in the middle of the night. But in the end, it all worked out and we just shared beds. I do think one sofa is also a sofa bed, so that could have been another option if we wanted to spread out more. All in all - we had a blast and made unforgettable memories. We would stay here again an recommend it to others as well :)

Quaint Weekend Getaway

The Perfect Lake Travis Getaway!
This was our second time to stay at this wonderful property, the first time being in 2018. There is so much to love about this house...the cabin-type design, well-equipped kitchen, and large back patio deck overlooking the lake, which is our favorite place to hang out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the house provided plenty of space for our family of 5. There is also an apartment above the garage (this is a separate building from the house but very close to it) that has two full beds and it's own bathroom, but no kitchen facilities. (We did not use the garage apartment this time.) Besides hanging out on the back deck, we also enjoyed the spacious living/dining room areas inside the main house. The home is tastefully decorated with some Texas/Western flair, which gives it nice atmosphere. The washer and dryer in the house also was great to have to wash our towels etc after using the pool at the Beach Club. The only thing we would recommend for improvement is that the master bedroom king bed mattress needs to be replaced; it's pretty lumpy but was still comfortable enough not to dampen our stay. Other than that, this home is amazing!! The host Bill responded to all of our needs immediately, which we really appreciated. Would definitely stay here a third time!

The property was beautiful as advertised. There were signs that the bedroom had not been cleaned. There was hair under the sheets and clothes underneath another bed.

Quintessential Texas Hill Country getaway
We had an overall lovely stay in this beautiful Texas Hill Country house. It was exactly what we were looking for for our group of 5 adults: clean, spacious, modernized, with tasteful western flair. Everyone had their own comfortable bed, and a great common area for hanging out along with a great dining area and a good-sized and well-designed kitchen.
The large deck was the crown jewel of the place!! It was the PERFECT place for sitting in the morning with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. The setting and views were to die for - green rolling hills with tons of trees and beautiful Lake Travis in the background. Bonus points for the firepit, which we didn't get to use because it rained during our stay.
And the other best part about the cabin is the gorgeous property it sits in. There are so many beautiful trails and hikes and biking and walking possibilities, often never seeing another soul, so it feels like a high-end secluded nature resort.
I am giving 4 stars not 5, however, because there were some things that need improving. Such as: the listing correctly says that the 4 bedroom (the double bedroom) is over the garage, but what isn't entirely clear is that the garage is a completely separate building, and so if it's raining, you're going to get wet. It feels a little too removed from the main house, so much that I wouldn't feel comfortable putting young children in it.
I also think some safety improvements need to be made - the steps leading up to the garage bedroom can be treacherous; there are a couple of steps that are wobbly and if you're not careful, you can slip and fall on them. And the rain doesn't help either as the steps became slippery. There also needs to be better lighting in the garage/steps area - although there are path lights up the steps, it still wasn't bright enough all the time, and we never could figure out how to turn on the sconce lights over the garage. Maybe the answer was in the welcome book, which we admittedly didn't read fully (we were on vacation), but if there was a light switch, we couldn't find it. So it was dangerously dark at times.
The other downside is privacy. Although the cabin is in a generally secluded area, it is built essentially right on top of 2 other cabins. We understand the need to not play loud music, but we felt we couldn't even have any conversation on the back deck without the neighbors on either side of us hearing every word.
But again, overall great stay!!!

The weekend was awesome!
The house was beautiful and very clean with a great view of the lake. The house had everything you needed for a perfect weekend get away. My family loved all the pool activities which were a very short distance from the house. We had brought our boat and kept it in a slip in the marina, all the facilities were easy accessible and the people were super nice. Bill Wallace was a super host. If we had any questions or needed anything he was right on top of it. My family can not wait to come back again. It was a great experience.

Great Family Vacation
We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights in June with our adult children and our grandchildren. The house is perfect size for all of us, and we utilized the apartment above the garage. The house was clean, and very well equipped. We especially loved the back deck, with it's view of the lake. The deck is large and a breeze is usually blowing. The family loved boating/tubing and appreciate the connection between the Hollows marina and VIP Boat Rentals. We especially loved the beach club, with several pools and the wonderful cafe with delicious food and cocktails. The internet in the house is a bit slow, so we settled for a low-tech vacation. There are two close towns, Lago Vista and Jonestown, both are small but there is a market and a few restaurants. The management was very responsive to any issues we had. We would love to stay in this house again someday. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, quiet - the perfect place to relax!
The home is beautiful, comfortable and has a Texas charm with it's fire pit and deck overlooking the lake. I would have given it 5 stars, but we were looking forward to the pool and the hot tub at the beach club, not realizing that during the off season both are very cold. Too cold for any enjoyment. Other than that though the off season is a wonderful time to come here as it is super quiet and you have the place almost to yourself! We had a great time!
