I couldn't say more good things about the cottage. Peggy is a fantastic host. The only thing that didn't get a 5 star was the dirt road getting to the cottage. I was up there for Laconia bike week and on a bike its a little dicy at times. In a car, no problems. I loved how private the cottage was and how accomodating Peggy was with her things by the water (even if didn't use them....shows you her character and the type of host she is). I will defintitly be back.

Only 15 mins from Conway and Kancamagus highway. Very quite and nice neighborhood. The house was very clean and all the amenities we needed. The access to the pond is a nice bonus but due to cold weather we couldn’t spend much time there. The host provided with great directions. Hope to be back again.

Great place. We'll come back on our next trip to the White Mountains.

Where should I start…..the dirt road was very washed out and difficult to manage. There were no street signs to even know where we were. There is a broken down van next door that was very creepy that someone was living in. Never did find the lake. The front door would not lock, we had to push the couch in front of it. This was the scariest place I’ve ever been to. We did not sleep there and left to find a hotel. We will never go back. We had to put sheets on the beds ourselves. When I messaged the homeowner about leaving she still has not responded to us.

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Peggy was extremely communicative. Area was very quiet. It was the perfect get away.

We went last year for our 46th anniversary we stayed two nights this year we added a night and that made a big difference and added to our trip. The owner Peggy is wonderful.

We had a wonderful vacation—even BETTER than imagined. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location and the attractions in the area!! The cottage is so welcoming and has everything you would ever need or want. Peggy stopped by to make sure everything was OK. We were hoping to see a moose but did not!!

This property is exactly what we were looking for to spend some quality time as a family. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great to enjoy surrounding attractions but we also had fun enjoying the pond just a short walk away. We enjoyed using the boats at the property and swimming at the small beach. We will certainly be repeat customers.

This is a modest little cabin, but it's very comfortable, clean and fit our needs perfectly for the week we spent there in early July. Weather was hot and rainy during our stay and while there were moments when it was a bit muggy indoors without A/C, the multiple fans did the job most of the time, and overnight, we slept under blankets. Peggy was available to answer all our questions and attend to any needs. The pond is a short walk away and is beautiful. I didn't fish much, but did manage to catch a couple of perch from their canoe. Also, we had to work remotely during about half of our stay, and I can report that the Wi-fi was strong and worked well for the two of us while we were there. Thanks again, Peggy!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at this tidy, comfortable cabin. It was fun to get out on the small lake with the paddle boat and good swimmimg too! We saw turtles and a loon. Peggy welcomed us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, so we could easily cook our meals at the cabin. It was a great get away!

This place is wonderful. It is very secluded and on a dirt road that feels very much like riding into a mountain but we loved that. The water is not far but if you have trouble walking it may not be the best place for you, you can drive down but there is not parking. The cabin was wonderful and fit our family well. The cabin is fully stocked, bring food and clothes that’s all you need. We went and saw the Boulder, swam, and used the paddle boat and paddle board. We had a fire and cooked all our meals at the cabin. We didn’t have perfect weather but it wasn’t awful either and we made the best of it. It’s a beautiful place. If you are looking to be with your family and make some amazing memories THIS IS THE PLACE.

The accommodations were as stated. Perfectly clean and very comfortable. Loved the quiet area. We did arrive on a motorcycle so the dirt road had a few potholes to navigate. The owner stopped in and checked to see if everything was okay. Thought that was a nice touch and is also likely provided them piece of mind that we at least looked responsible (or I hope so). We did not use the lake although we did walk to the lake. We go a little turned around on one of the roads and when looking at he lake we were to,d that’s private property by someone when we were standing on the road. I said thanks and walked away no issues. I can only assume there are issues with some people. We did make our way to the beach and it was very peaceful. Overall a great place for some quiet time.

It was perfectly clean and had every amenity that anyone would ever need. Wonderful quiet spot for relaxing. Excellent gateway to the Kankamagus highway as well as North Conway. Certainly would recommend Peggy’s cabin and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. Thank you Peggy… David

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend for the king pine triathlon. The home was very nice and comfortable. Everything was clean all appliances worked as they should. Off the beaten path but in a good way. Overall, everything was great and one of our favorite things was the VHS collection! I highly recommend watching my side of the mountain on VHS if you have a rainy night.

My partner and I loved this space; very very quiet and peaceful and little to no traffic or noise nearby. Peggy was so accomodating and was always ready to help if we needed anything!

We have stayed in a lot of cabins across the country and Peggy's has been the most perfect one for many reasons. Every little detail has been well thought of for guests keeping in mind varied ages and interests. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and well-stocked. There are books and games for all ages, toys and fishing supplies, serene space for a campfire (with some of the best firewood, per my husband), and more! We loved taking the kayak and canoe out for a little evening boat ride. Peggy was always available over text for questions, recommendations etc. We loved our getaway and will be sure to bring family and friends again! Highly recommend!

Nothing to complain about. Very nice, private, quiet community surrounded by nature. Nice pond for kayaking. Comfortable, very pleasant cottage.

The property is amazing, and relaxing. Will be returning again in the near future.

Everything thing I read in the reviews is true. I have never stayed in a place before that was a thoughtfully equipped as this cabin. Blinds under the curtains in the bedroom. Full bag of sugar in the cupboard. A bath tub/ shower combo. Tons of dvds, videos, board games, books, etc… even a dishwasher! If I were to build a cabin I would model it after this one. The layout was great. I just cannot say enough good things about this cabin. You will not be dissappointed.

Quaint, cozy cottage in a beautiful wooded setting by a gorgeous lake. Myself my children niece and nephew all had a wonderful stay here. The kids loved the kayaks and canoes. The home was extremely clean and had everything that you needed. Thank you Peggy for a great weekend getaway.

Very cozy and quaint home. Has everything you could need and then some. Surrounded by woods, very peaceful and quiet. Peggy was great to work with, very helpful. The pond is less than a 5 minute walk and she has a good sized property there also, including a screen house, canoe, paddle boat. Do NOT use Google Maps! It will not get you there! As she noted on her property page, use Mapquest. It was the only way we were able to find it, Will definately love to stay here again!

This was our first time. Everything was above and beyond what we expected. Cabin was as described and had everything you needed for your stay . Nice quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. Will be booking the property again ❤️

The cottage was very quaint and the area was very nice with lots to do. Me and my friends had a great time, very successful trip.

Wonderful place to vacation. Quiet, serene setting. Close to nearby lake to relax and canoe, kayak, fish and swim. Though tucked away on a private lake, property was close to Conway, Wolfeboro and other quaint towns. Near to Lake Winnipesaukee too. We especially enjoyed dining in the screened in porch. Place was clean and well equipped with extra beach towels, DVD'S, books board games.

Peggy was a great host, stopping in to show me around the area within 1/2 hour of arriving. Great location for us as we wanted to make it easy to visit with Camp kids. Not far from Madison Boulder Natural Area. (We did get a little lost on the way in so that's a landmark for you.) Easy access to the waterfront, canoes, kayaks. House has everything you could want or need, kitchen equipment, batteries, flashlights, bandaids, sissors - you name it. Easily the best supplied VRBO I have been in. Many thanks Peggy
