Right on the corner of 2 canals. As soon as you pull in the driveway, you can't wait to jump in a kayak and head to Pennekamp or Rowleys Park. We enjoyed the house so much, it was hard to leave every day. We spent a week here and saw

Go relax in a quiet safe & enjoyable home in Key Largo. Jim has everything there you could possibly need, just like home! Feed the fish, manatee and iguanas and enjoy sitting under the tiki hut with the fans to cool you off! What a tropical quiet paradise from the hustle of city life! We enjoyed fishing, kayaking & the sandbar! Took out a charter trip to catch mahi-mahi and had it for dinner! Visited the park and took the glass bottom boat to see the reef!

The owner was fantastic and the property was fantastic! The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and the property felt very private. Would recommend this place without hesitation! Definitely hope to go back someday!!

Everything was 5 star. The host was so accommodating. All needs met. If you want to be isolated but still have the opportunity to travel and see the keys this is it!

Jim was an excellent host meeting us at check-in and giving us a tour on the Sea Cat boat that we rented for the week. We spent everyday on the water and had a great time. Highly recommend the boat rental. We had plenty of room for our family of 6 and the house is close to several great restaraunts.

If you are weighing your options on different houses to rent and this is one do yourself a favor and go with this one.

Very relaxing and fun
This property is beautiful and very relaxing and stress free. Jim is great and very accommodating. We got visits from the iguanas and manatees. The only reason why it did not get 5 stars is you can't really fish in the canal, everyone feeds the fish so they won't bite. That is really the only downside.

Fantastic house on the canal
What a wonderful gem on Key Largo! The house and gardens are beautiful, well cared for and extremely comfortable. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The whole group enjoyed spending time at the tiki hut watching my son and husband fish. They fished every day and were very successful. We appreciated having the kayaks and canoes and made good use of them most evening. We are already discussing our next visit and look forward to staying here again!

Absolutely wonderful!!!
Thanks Jim for letting us stay at your place!! It was absolute paradise! We enjoyed seeing the iguanas and manatees right out the back door as well as adventuring out on the kayaks and canoes. Your dock right out the back door sure made it convenient for some ocean fishing and what a catch. We had grouper, snapper, margate and hogfish all in one outing. Then to be able to clean them with your set up under the tiki while listening to music made cleaning fish seem like fun. After all our playing everyday- we were only to happy to retire to our individual rooms, to comfy beds and TV in each one. THANK YOU-THANK YOU!! We will be returning ASAP.

We had 8 adults n 1- 4 yr old. Plenty of room for everyone with all the necessities needed for a Great vacation. No seeims were a challenge but whole island had them. Bug spray and fans a Big help. Would deffinately come back again. Thank You Jim for a home way from home.

We really enjoyed the property. Kayaking is great in the area and grilling and chilling under the tiki hut was a nice way to relax afterwards. Jim has really thought of everything to make sure your vacation goes perfectly. Book this place early though, popular for obvious reasons.

Perfect Vacataion Getaway!
My husband and I along with our three adult children and spouses (seven of us) stayed at Paradise Place the week before Thanksgiving 2018. This was our first HomeAway experience and from the very beginning when we first saw this listing and began communicating with Jim to the very last day of our stay in Key Largo, our trip was truly paradise. It was important for us to have things to do that would allow us to just relax and stay put for the day and, when you arrive at Jim's Paradise Place, it is easy to forget the rest of the world and do just that. You can lean back in a chair and enjoy music or TV in the Tiki Hut, float in the canal, glide by the mangrove in a canoe or kayak, or watch the wildlife all day long...we loved it all. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, snacks and prepare our favorite beverages and we really loved eating about every meal outside in the Tiki Hut. Jim had everything we could possibly need to make our trip outstanding and we talk about it all the time. We highly recommend Jim's Paradise Place and hope to come back again. Thanks so much, Jim. We appreciate all you did to make our trip the best ever!

Quiet location with a wonderful property owner!
The home had lots of room. Loved the deck and the outside shower. We rented the boat and had the time of our life taking it out fishing and exploring. The iguanas came to visit which the kids loved. The other favorite was the paddle board, kayaks and canoe. These were on the water all the time. Jim the property owner is amazing and so kind. He was extra helpful and took care of our needs before we even asked. Only downside is the no see um insects that just had lunch on us, but that's part of being near the water. We would go back to this property anytime. My kids all voted it was the best vacation ever!!!

Great house for families
The house was larger than expected. Had things you wouldn't expect at a rental. Little things like spices, toilet paper etc. The outside shower was great after swimming in the canal. The owner Jim was fantastic, we rented the boat for a week and he took us out for about 2 hours showing us the ways in and out and fishing and snorkeling spots. The outside tiki hut was awesome and a great place to relax.

Loved This House!!
We stayed at Paradise Place last week and absolutely had a blast! Our boys loved being right on the water and able to grab a kayak or canoe and take off towards the Bay or creek. They told me that the house was "Awesome!" Fishing is good in the canal with lots of mangrove snappers in there...but they are smart little fish! The water is so clear you can see them down on the bottom. For those of you who are fishermen...the property has good tackle to use right there in the house...not junky stuff! Wish I had left my pole at home! The owner Jim is a pleasure to deal with, and no surprises. When he says he has bikes and snorkel equipment, i think there is enough for 10 people! Literally! Like others have said, the landscaping is done in such a way that you really do not see neighboring properties - very secluded! It was neat seeing the iguanas come over and lay in the sun. While we did not see the manatees while we were there, we did keep a close look out for them. We did see one down in Islamorada though. My only wish was that we had rented the boats also because we could have snorkeled everyday instead of going out with dive operators. We particularly enjoyed Cheeca Rocks and Alligator Reef under the lighthouse. Save yourself some time at the end of the days to get in a kayak and head down the creek...very scenic through the mangroves!! Thanks Jim for your hospitality!

Amazing
Paradise Place was truly paradise for our three families. Clean and bright with great a/c and well-equipped kitchen. Upon our arrival a mother manatee and her calf drifted past the dock-beautiful! Plenty of equipment for our 4 teenagers to enjoy-kayaks, bikes and floats. We also rented the Grady-White and spent hours out on the sounds and mangroves fishing and sightseeing. The fish were also biting right at the dock-we are enjoying snapper this evening-just needed a fishing pole (provided) and some bait! We were close to Jimmy Johnson's Big Chill and enjoyed several evenings there for drinks, music and the sunset. Pennekamp State Park is right down the highway and we went out on their snorkeling trip-great experience for the entire family! The property is beautiful and we just needed a trip to the local Publix grocery store to pick up provisions-everything else was there for us to have a relaxing vacation in Key Largo.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The place was in a great location, was clean, was amazingly well-cared for, and had a lot of extras to ensure the experience was a good one! We spent a lot of time on kayaks, in the boat, and hanging out under the tiki hut in the back. It was a relaxing time in a great place. Jim was the best possible host, taking care of us without a complaint. I highly recommend!!
